A Reflection on Ethical Theories
I. Introduction
Sometimes, what you think you know has already been established as a theory. Sometimes, a person follows a theory unintentionally but has been subscribing to it as a pragmatic choice in life.
Theories should reflect the realities of life. However, sometimes theories hinder a person from becoming who needs to become.

1. My formulated theory is named, "The Light Theory" because I choose to see the light in others despite their darkness by treating them with respect. I want to live my life according to Richard Branson's quote, "Respect is how you treat everyone, not just those you want to respect." I believe that living this way will make my life more fulfilling because everyone has a light, and I want to show that they should be respected and loved for it, rather than judged solely for their wrongdoings. Everyone is not flawless, but they all have hearts that want to shine the light of goodness that exists within their darkness. The goodness to act and decide on what is right and good for humanity. People can change and do the right thing, in my opinion, if they know that others see their light, as it gives them another motivation to strive for betterment.
2. My theory has the advantage of allowing me to notice aspects of people that others may overlook, such as the fact that we all have our dark sides, but we also have hearts to light for what is right and good for everyone which is worthy of respect. The downside of my concept is that it may be taken for granted by others.
3. Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason. Ethics should be centered on living things or the people involved. After all, they will be the ones to blame, because they can think profoundly and have the body to take action. People will live with the consequences of their actions, not the other way around. Hence, ethics should always be subjective rather than objective.

Actions thought and performed by all of us are weighted and operated through our motives. It seems that the motive of a person is in a greater speaks to the kind of consequence he/she wanted his/her actions to make. In making our decisions we must have a good motive; I propose the “GOOGLE’S ETHICS MODEL”. This theory revolves around the mantra that Google implements since its conception – “Don’t Be Evil”. Performed actions in reflection to a good motive is what this theory values the most. An action is considered good when it is done with no malice and evil intent towards anyone. Now, Google has become a behemoth in collecting and organizing the world’s information. With that must power over the world, it is easy for Google to sought what they intent to do. This represents us as dynamic and unpredictable entities who can make thousands of decisions, and only our intents make a few of those choices to be the best to implement.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
Though opting for the upmost good consequences, the Google’s Ethics Model (GEM) is far from perfect model. In its surface, GEM promotes actions from good motives to also yield good outcomes. These outcomes are meant to be good and beneficial, not only for everyone else, but also for ourselves as well as the maker of the decisions. On the other hand, the model relies hardly on the subjective nature of good motives. The line at which the goodness and badness of a motive is movable which is a flaw of this model. This means that a heinous act might be executed by someone who thinks his/her motive behind the action is completely good when it is not. The subjectivity of what is good is the very disadvantage of this model.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
We are all greatly represented by the actions we make. Our values, beliefs, and personal quirks seeps through our every decisions and doubts. This means that ethics is all about the thought groundings and values of the person making the action rather than what the action is intended to do. The internal weighing of choices is what defines ethics more then what the resulting consequences might be. This is best summarized by a quote from Karen Marie Moning, a New York Times Best Selling Author, “It’s our actions that define us. What we choose. What we resist. What we’re willing to die for.”

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
"Responsibility theory" states that every decision and action the person chooses goes along with responsibility and consequences in life. This theory will help someone to make the best choice that he will be accountable for. It does not focus on a person but also the people surrounding him. For example, when a partner decides to separate and their child will give custody to the mother, both parties settle that it is better to be separate than see each other all the time when they’re not both happy. They made that an answer to their problems but, the most affected one out of their decision is the child because he will see that their family are not together anymore. It is like the child is between two massive rocks bumping onto each other. Though, they must stick to their decision and be the ones responsible for future outcomes.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
The advantages to this theory are that a person will be able to make the final decision that he thinks is for the best. He can make justifications and assurance out of the doubts he is thinking. Because he knows what the result will be. And because this is his responsibility, he must do it and face the circumstances. However, its disadvantages are the fact that no one can predict the future. So, we don’t know what will happen next. But the only thing we can do is to expect and imagine this could be the conclusion. And after we meet the result, it could hurt one’s feelings and, later, there will be regrets that you want to go back saying I shouldn’t make that decision or opposite to what you are thinking.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics will benefit the most is a person to think whether his actions are morally good or bad. It was part of our life. Because every time we apply ethics, we will be able to determine if we are doing the right thing or the other way around. Reasons are just a supporting detail to ethics, which is not knowing right from wrong, but being able to respond to a problem justly, fairly, and responsibly. Everything in the world will perform its duty and, the person living on ethics because it was based on and motivated by facts, emotions, values, principles, reasons, beliefs, emotions, or feelings found within each other deep inside our consciousness. Ethics evolve within us and will be forever with us.

Reflecting on how I live, I came up with the term " It's Not Complicated" because I like to put things out where I can be at ease without worrying too much. Other people would like to try new things to gain experience, but they tend not to know the consequences, which will result in problems. As much as possible, I would like to avoid things that will only bring complications. It is not playing safe but also avoiding more significant problems in the future.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
The advantage of my formulated theory is that it will not cause any chaos, and less trouble will come within it. For the disadvantage, it can cause a lack of experience and fear to do unnecessary things that will help me gain knowledge, and the learning capability will have boundaries. For example, due to my bad experience in driving and fear on the road, I chose not to practice driving to not cause any more trouble on the road. However, it also has an advantage if I will learn how to drive because it can help me to go anywhere conveniently.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Every person has a different perspective and values formulated with different categories, which ethics explained. A person who has experience in teaching and one who hasn't will imply different morality when it comes to their students' decision-making. That's how Ethics deals or revolving with the person. Individuals have their definitions and attitudes, which tackles in Ethics.

“Double Entendre Theory” a particular form of phrasing that may be interpreted in one of two ways, therefore having a dual meaning. Given the context, one of the interpretations is usually evident, whilst the other may need more consideration. Innuendo can express a message that would be embarrassing to say out loud, sexually provocative, or disrespectful. This may exploit puns to convey the second meaning. Double entendres generally rely on multiple meanings of words, or different interpretations of the same primary meaning. They often exploit ambiguity and may be used to introduce it deliberately in a text.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?
The advantages of that theory is we may able to contemplate what does the other hidden meaning behind the words or phrases. That we must think our of the box, analyze and determine every piece of text or words. The disadvantages are if a person who is unfamiliar with the hidden or alternative meaning of a sentence may fail to detect its innuendos, aside from observing that others find it humorous for no apparent reason. Perhaps because it is not offensive to those who do not recognize it, innuendo is often used in sitcoms and other comedy.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason. This means that we must considered a reasoning in which the process through which a person uses logic to discern the distinction between what is right and wrong in a personal circumstance. To make such an evaluation, one must first understand what an activity is meant to achieve and what effects it may have on others. Moral reasoning is used by people in order to do the right thing. People are regularly confronted with moral decisions, such as whether to lie to prevent hurting someone's feelings or whether to adopt a course of action that benefits some but harms others. Such decisions are made by weighing the goal and anticipated consequences of a course of action.

1. What is your ethical theory on life.
-My ethical theory in life has always been “Read between the lines”. I, most of the time, account other’s behavior and their opinion on the possible reason hidden inside them. Trying to understand their root memory or background before saying anything has always been my nature to refrain myself from making judgments and hurting other people.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
-The ADVANTAGES that i think existing in this ethical theory is that, I can communicate with others without a single touch of unethical judgment, because in this way, I am engaging myself in a two-way communication, thus making myself respectful in every movement they do. This may also lead you to forgive easily despite how cruel the treatment the world is giving you, which somehow helpful for u to build a place for yourself to move forward. This kind of practice also helps a lot in making a strong relationship with other people, because you are being an active listener who tries to value other’s feelings rather than the words that are explicitly stated.
DISADVANTAGES could be the misinterpretation on how I address or understand the situation, and there are times that it is harder to communicate especially when you are also emotionally-driven to the point that you’re having the strong urge to express yourself regardless of how unethical it can get.
3. Expand on the idea that, Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
- Ethics is a branch of philosophy that studies the morality of human acts, a question of “right and wrong” in every decision we make. Apparently, we as individual is the one who partakes the role of decision-making and these reasons will not exist without our own initiatives. In this case, ethics deals with the person and his/her ability to distinguish between good and bad, and our accountability of the social consequences that can get in the way.

1. Formulate your ethical theory in life.
- Ethical Theories leads you to do the right thing If I were given a chance to formulate my theory it will be LIE THEORY because I always wonder what will happen if all of us doesn't know how to lie, does our life still the same, or is it is worse than we expect. Lie theory will become the foundation of good relationship it states that every person should know how to express the truth behind everything without being scared and those people who tend to lie are considered as a bad influence in society. For me, there's nothing wrong to tell what's the truth behind something and I believed that there's always a reason if people choose to commit a lie. LIE THEORY is responsible to listen so that it can help those people to overcome their fear and evil inside; I believe that lies are the reason behind everything bad. This theory will help people to understand the importance of telling the truth in our society this will help someone to be honest to recognize the right thing to do and avoid what is wrong.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?
- The Advantage of this theory, it will help many people to be honest at all times so that they can understand that telling the truth is more likely better than hurting people with lies. People will understand that it's better to have a good relationship with other individuals than to be discriminated against because of not telling what the truth in society is.
- The Disadvantage of this theory is Discrimination because this theory states that those people who committed lies are considered as a bad influence in society because I believed that in this theory people will choose to tell what is true rather than being discriminated and I don't see any problem with that because it is just our basic human act to do what is right and avoid what is wrong which is to expose the truth.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
- Ethics refers to the philosophical study of the concepts of what is morally right and wrong it is the foundation of a basic human act to identify what is right and to avoid what is wrong. Ethics deals with the person because the person can identify what is a morally good and bad thing to do but the person is the one who decided. Ethics defines the essential qualities that make one person distinct from other individuals and people should commit themselves to keep up the highest personal ethical standards because it is a set of moral principles and values that guide a person's behavior in a particular situation.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
I’d like to call my theory as “Eudaemonia”. I’ve read this word from a book and it felt meaningful. It’s another word to describe the state of happiness and feeling lucky, derived from Greek word "eudaimon". Another definition from Aristotelianism would be our activity in life governed by a reason or a purpose. It will satisfy some ethical principle. For beneficence, it will describe the desire to do what is good to fulfill your purpose. To put everything into perspective that will result to happiness or great joy. Similarly, for respect for autonomy, it would describe the state of decision making to be fair and respectable to the people that are involve. A person practicing Eudaemonia, would have this will to be just and understanding. A person whose content and feels lucky because he appreciates everything life has given and offer.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?
The advantage of this theory:
a. Individuals would be thoughtful of the majority’s welfare but knows his boundaries as a person. A person would try to do the maximum good, but he would also respect his feelings and limitations.
b. A person’s daily activities would focus on positivity and is governed by a good reason.
c. A person would live a slow but content life, he appreciates growth doesn’t happen overnight and he would be patient.
The disadvantage of this theory:
a. A person may feel confused and lost when things don’t go his way. For example, he always tries to practice being productive and for instance he couldn’t finish a task, he’ll feel confused because he thinks he did his best so why didn’t he finish the task. He’ll wonder about events and things that you can’t really control.
b. If events didn’t go to his will, will he still feel lucky and grateful? The challenge is how consistent a person can be when faced with difficulties.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics define a person’s character, his values in life, and his absolute personality. It’s something that is born within an individual. Ethics describe something in us that is not influenced by any other outside forces. This absolute personality of a person may not be shown in the same energy over the course of time, but it is still here inside us. Ethics doesn’t explain the cause as to why a person possesses such traits and what made him hold onto it. Ethics explains that it's just the way we are, it does not focus on the why’s.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
- I always face my Life in a crossword of choices. It makes me vulnerable to being confused and bewildered by uncertain decisions. It always requires me to generate an understanding that has substance and is adaptive to time. It prior extends on how I must examine things that benefit me. Moreover, it teaches me to become radically committed and influences my principles in life to become accountable for whatever decision I choose in the end. So, If I were to formulate my ethical theory on life, it will have to be the Accountability Theory.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
- Life is like a puzzle that requires appropriate patterns to see its magnificent and extraordinary beauty. And that its beauty pictures the meaningful life we ought to live in our ways. One advantage of my theory is the integrity it upholds to each one of us. It humbles us to remain with our core and principle and to account for whatever we choose in life. This, however, introduce its disadvantage, and that is being vulnerable. My vulnerability can be easily influenced by my decision-making in life. And that it strikes my core if I am still developing or improving and facing the reality of life in this world.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
- The idea pertains to what we choose to follow is inflicted on how ethically aware a person can be. Ethics is the study of our moral principles. And that through our behavior this idea can be shown. It is subjected to the person rather than understanding what the action is intended for.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
My ethical theory in life would be "selfless act". This states that all of my decisions should rely on what is best not only for me, but also for the sake of other people. Yes, it's okay to be selfish at times but if we act altruistically, we will feel a certain satisfaction that your actions will be benefited by others so it's not only me who would gain by the actions taken. It is wonderful to feel that you're acting out of concern not that you're obligated to do such thing. Also, you're not thinking of any rewards you would get but if they will say a simple thank you or smile plastered by their faces, then you will feel at ease that all of my actions are really worth it.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
The advantages of the said ethical theory would be, you will not overthink if others are not fond of you or the other way around. Being this type of person can separate you to those people who are so selfish that even a simple matter, they will still act on greediness. Also, You will not be like other people who are really self-centered that they always think on their own personal gain. Even if what you did is just a pinch, they would still thank you for that matter because like what they always say, a simple gesture can or may be reason to make a difference in someone's life. There's no such thing that can be reflected as disadvantages to this case, but if you are always thinking for the sake of others that you neglects your health, then this could be a disadvantage for your selfless act.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics are known for its moral principles that affects the decisions taken by the people. This matter is directed on the person, because his actions may be reflected for who he is. This helps the person to know certain values that could possibly the reason on how we can justify or take an action for the said decision. It could stop the deprivation of evilness that could resort to negative outcomes. The person's critical thinking will be exercised and by that moment, he will possibly know now the reasons behind his moral convictions and how it could affect other people's lives.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
My formulated theory for my life is consequentia theory. Consequentia comes from the Latin word, which means consequence. We all have the freedom to choose. However, with every choice we make there are always associated with consequences. The only substance of this theory is the consequences we may encounter in case we make a decision and action. These consequences can alter each other’s behavior. Therefore, the point of this theory is that, before we can make a choice, our decisions and actions must be in a moral manner so that we can also receive the consequences morally. Despite this, if our decisions and actions are not in a moral way, our choices may have associated with immoral consequences. The consequences have a huge impact on the ethics of each person. Without these consequences, people cannot be sure whether what they are doing is right or wrong.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
The advantage of this theory is, people will be aware and knowledgeable regarding critical decision-making and careful action towards the possible consequences. But despite this, its disadvantage is that this theory does not control the freedom of choice of each person.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics is all about what a person it is. It exactly determines the nature of a person. It is centered on people because they alone can do right and wrong. It is in everyone’s hands to do a moral sense, because we alone have the right to choose, and make decisions and actions. The consequences are only there, it is the judge of human actions; whether it is moral or not. Therefore, its meaning is weightier as subjective than objective.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
-If I were to formulate a theory, that would be a theory that will let people understand others and I will name it as “empathy theory”. I was thinking, what if people know how others feel? Will there still be bullying? Will we still tend to hurt others? Empathy is the ability to understand and share your feelings to someone or another person. As a victim of bullying when I was in elementary, I always kept thinking, if these people know how it feels to be bullied then they probably won’t do this to me. Through “empathy theory” people would put themselves on the shoes of others in this way we can share common feelings.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?
-The advantage of empathy theory is; Through sharing common feelings with others we will be able to prevent hurting them because the fact that we know how it feels to be in their situation, we wouldn’t want them to feel the same way. However, the disadvantage of empathy is that it’s sometimes misunderstood as sympathy. Sympathy and empathy were different by definition. Empathy is understanding someone’s feelings by experience while sympathy is only sharing how you feel based on someone’s emotion. Another disadvantage of “empathy theory” is that sometimes we over emphatize which could make us think that someone is so miserable to the point that we think they need us from time-to-time.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
-Ethics are valuing that individual person possess gained through experience. It is the ability differentiate right from wrong based on how we were taught they should be. Therefore, ethics is governed by someone who is bright enough to know whether an action is morally right or wrong and it is the “person” who can that. It answers the question “who we are as a person” over the “why’s of our actions.”

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
If I am going to formulate an ethical theory of myself, it will be entitled as "One for All, All for One" theory. As what has the title states, the theory implies that all decisions or acts that we will do must benefit ourselves at the same time all the people involved in the situation. It shares the same idea with the "common good"; the only difference is that my theory must acknowledge and benefit all people, including yourself, leaving no one behind. I have come up with this idea because most of the time, I decide what I must do by considering its outcome on myself and also to others.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
By following and obeying this theory, I can assure that every problem and hardship we encounter and solve will give us a moral that can strengthen our will, leading to our self-development. With the help of this theory, it also diminishes the chance of having conflict with others, and it improves our relationships with others, promoting the quality of our life. Therefore, if all of our decisions will be beneficial to the entire people, our community will also advance rapidly, together with ourselves.
For its disadvantages, decision-making will become more challenging. It will be difficult for us to decide because we have a lot of things to consider. We could not easily formulate an act or decision that can benefit ourselves and all the people. If it is difficult, then it means that it will take a long time. Thus, we can say that we cannot easily apply this theory in our daily life, but only in the decision that requires no or long time.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
As a living entity, human is very significant and must consider first before other things. When it comes to ethics, we must acknowledge first human beings because we have feelings and emotions that are not present in other things, especially the object of reason. Every action that we make depends on the situation we face, but it does not mean that we should not mind the people involved in the said situation. We can harm or benefit the people depending on our decisions. Ethics consider the people rather than the purpose or the object of the reason of one's self to prevent the trouble from occurring. That is why there is a term common good in ethics, where it refers that every action you make, you must consider its effect on the majority of the population.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
- "Reciprocity Theory" is the moniker I have given to my ethical philosophy throughout my life. Another significant ethical principle, eye for an eye or retributive justice, should not be confused with the ethics of reciprocity. The reciprocity ethic emphasizes the necessity of showing consideration for everyone, not only those in one's own in-group.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
- "License" or "right" refers to the benefit of ethical reciprocity, which indicates that individuals are free to do whatever they choose as long as they do not do harm to others. Experiencing a disadvantage does not obligate one to aid another in times of need. While "the golden rule is a fine standard, it is enhanced by doing unto others what they wish to be done wherever possible.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
- Ethics is fundamentally concerned with the nature of human well-being, which is why we study it. To live a happy life, we must first understand the linked nature of values like friendship, pleasure, virtue, and honor, as well as physical wealth. To put that general understanding into practice, we must cultivate the capacity to discern which course of action is best backed by evidence via proper upbringing and habits.

-The formulated theory that come up to my mind is that “The Theory of Goodness”. I choose this because I believe that this will be a complete package for us human, it will serve us our guide and encouragement in life. Using this theory, it will lead us in a good direction that will absolutely help us to shine and to know what is good and bad for our life.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
-The advantages of this theory is that every people that use this as their references in life it will definitely help them in life by giving an encouragement and guide to showcase the best version of their life by doing great things or good things in life. But aside from all the advantages of this theory there would be also disadvantage of this theory like not all people are interested to this kind of theory we know that we have differences in life, different behavior etc. and because of this some people are not interested to this kind of theory because of their beliefs and aspects in life.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
-Ethics is a moral principle wherein it governed by a person, it is about the concepts of knowing the right and wrong. Therefore, ethics deals with the person because the person itself is the one who act to his/her actions either it is morally right or not, the person has the ability to differentiate the differences of it.

In my daily life, I'm constantly concerned about what will happen to me if I do something I truly enjoy but isn't my true passion. Daily responsibility, I think, is a set of beliefs that might assist you in acting ethically when faced with ethical problems in your personal life. Deontology is an ethical theory that has shaped my life since it teaches me how to follow my thoughts and make better decisions in my life. The divine command theory is a kind of deontology because it holds that the rightness of any action is determined by whether or not it is carried out because it is a duty, rather than because of any good consequences.
2. are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
The advantages of this theory are that it gives a foundation for human behavior in which activities might become universal laws due to their goodness. It maintains moral absolutes in which people strive to be morally perfect. Individuals act as if they are the lawgivers, which increases personal responsibility. One issue that the deontological pluralist must deal with is the development of moral dilemmas, which occur when the demands of one obligation conflict with the needs of another. For example, there are times when keeping a commitment is necessary to lessen someone's suffering.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics is based mostly on moral norms that govern what humans should do, generally in terms of rights, obligations, societal advantages, justice, or special qualities. As a result, the term ethics can refer to any philosophical theory of what is morally right and wrong, morally good and evil, and any system or code of moral norms, principles, or values, as well as the philosophical study of the ideas of moral right and wrong, moral good and bad. That is why ethics are formed and created in every individual in the world, not merely to study and learn about ethics, but also to apply ethics, particularly ethical ideas, in daily life.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
I lived my life not only based on what I want and my own decisions. I always made sure that before doing something I ask some advice from my spiritual leaders, family, close friends and specially from God. Decision making and living my everyday life is the hardest thing form me because there are a lot of things might happen and I don't have control over those situation that I will encounter. Having someone who can be by your side through thick and thin is a blessing but having God in your life feels like you are an infant being protected by your mother wherein she will never allow you to be hurt and lost in her sight. My own ethical theory is "Not my will theory", this theory talks about surrendering, consulting, and acknowledging God before taking a decision for our lives. In every situation we have the most important part is letting God be the driver or controller for us to feel safe and reassured about everything. God knows what is the best for us, so letting Him to hold us all throughout is the key to keep in right path and moving forward. This theory also means choosing God's will to be done in your life not yours.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
The "Not my will theory" have a multiple advantages, since this theory aims to honor God in every aspect of our lives. Once we choose to obey and honor Him we will get the reward that nothing in this world can compare. The reward came from Him will never be broken nor destroy but will remain eternally. One of the best fruit or advantage of this theory is having a peace of mind. Letting His will be done in our lives gives peace in us in a sense that all the negative vibes will be replaced by Christ inspired thoughts. He will pacify you and will give the desires of your heart once He saw that your deepest desires were aligned to His will. For the disadvantage, I don't think any disadvantage for this theory.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics deals with moral principles that affects people with their everyday lives. It reflect to individual's life and helps human to become who they are and what they are. In conclusion, ethics deals with person because a person can classify what is right and what is wrong.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life
Studying ethics can help you arrive at clearer positions and arguments on real life issues and can help you apply them, too. In fact, thinking more about ethical theory may even change your mind about issues in today’s world. For me, respect and defend human rights. Ethics has a lot to say about what those rights are, who has them, and why. Many 21st century debates about torture, genocide, women’s rights, free speech, and welfare all focus on human rights. And, become more ethical in our career. Ethical professionals are better professionals. Lawyers, engineers, doctors, accountants, and journalists must avoid conflicts of interest and be sensitive to the ethical requirements of their jobs. However, keep in mind that being ethical in your profession can lead to surprising results. Lawyers, for instance, have to defend some pretty shady characters in order to give everyone a fair defense.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it
The advantages of it is, it help us to choose what is appropriate for the given situation. It is also give us a perspective on morality and assist us in making reasonable choices. The disadvantage of this ethical theory is that it is unclear whether an action commanded by God is supposed to be good for its own sake or solely because God is believed to have ordered it. If the action is good for its own sake, it must be explained in terms of one of the other ethical theories.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object or reason.
Reason is when removed from emotion, allows a person to make conscious decisions based on fact, with no reference to personal involvement. The use of reason as a way of knowing, allows for the knower to see the consequences of their actions throughout the decision-making process, there are limitations to decisions made based on reason alone, perception of situations is not questioned as it may be with an emotional decision. It is a suitable way of knowing for ethical decisions when one does not wish to question their perception of an issue. It proves useful when consequences are considered while understanding an issue. Reason lacks the attachment that emotion carries, it has the ability to remain detached from a situation. Therefore, it is through reason that ethical decisions can be made without attachment to the problem at hand. Ethics deals with the person rather than the object or reason, because ethics is a system of principles that helps us tell right from wrong, good from bad. It can give real and practical guidance to our lives. Ethical values like honesty, trustworthiness, responsibility etc. help guide us along a pathway to deal more effectively with ethical dilemmas by eliminating those behaviors that do not conform to our sense of right and wrong, and our best rational interests without sacrificing others. And it's all about the choices we make. We constantly face choices that affect the quality of our lives. We are aware that the choices that we make have consequences, both for ourselves and others. We are aware of the responsibility we have for our actions.

Before undertaking anything, I always made sure to seek guidance from my spiritual leaders, family, close friends, and, most importantly, God. Making decisions and going about my daily life is the most difficult thing for me because a lot of things can happen and I have no control over the situations I will face. My own theory is “Have faith in God”, God knows everything we are going through at this very moment and everything we will go through in the future. He knows the best way to handle every situation so we get the best possible outcome and we need to trust him with that. We need to follow his path and trust that he knows best, because he does.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
Faith brings all the benefits of salvation into our lives, This includes healing, prosperity, peace, love, joy deliverance from demons and the curse, sanctification of the mind and emotions (the salvation of the soul), and any other benefit which the word of God promises to us.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics is the value placed on the knowledge and skills that each individual has acquired through their life experiences. It's the ability to tell what's right and what's wrong based on how we've been trained to do things.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
My ethical theory on life is “Equality and Equity to achieve Prosperity” which means that everyone is treated the same way regardless of individual differences and with that we were provided with what we need to fulfill and succeed in life. We are all equal regardless of the color of our skin, religion, gender, and language we have. People who are treated fairly and have equal opportunity are better able to contribute socially and economically to the community, and to enhance growth and prosperity. It encourages respect, leadership, trust, responsibility, and collaboration that build a strong and beautiful community. Through these, we can achieve peaceful and be successful with our goals in life.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?
Equality and equity provide fairness in giving justice, focus on individual’s multiple intelligences and make our society safer and healthier. In education, both are crucial in classrooms to ensure students get the same positive outcomes regardless of their unique challenges they have experiences. Equality for having an education gave the same opportunities to start off with positive educational outcomes, equity helps to make sure those equal opportunities are adjusted to make room for students who might need extra help and attention. Teachers consider the situation of every learner, from learning disabilities to cultural differences and provide them with appropriate learning styles. But this can be difficult for educators because it requires extra attention for students who experience specific challenges. Getting equality and equity require efforts and morale and some people become greedy and abuse their rights which leads to unhealthy relationship with one another.
3. Expand on the idea that – Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics deals with the person, since a human being evaluates his or actions, choices, and decisions in life. Man is a rational being, autonomy, self-consciousness and develops relationship with other beings. Only human beings can act morally and ethically. A person can understand his/her actions, make judgements, and choose what is right and wrong. Humans have the ability of complex reasoning, use of complex language, and describe one’s own thoughts and feelings. By knowing ethics, one can direct his or her life in a right and good manner. Having moral values like integrity, respect, honesty, and patience where ethics guides this behavior to make the best decisions toward a common good of all.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
The ethical theory in life I have formulated is called “GROW Theory”. GROW stands for Grateful, Respectful, Open-handed, and Well-mannered. As time goes by, people grow and experience different events, and tend to perform actions that would affect their lives substantially. People, as we GROW, must possess these four virtues which may be essential in having a fulfilling life. First, we should learn to be grateful at all times, whatever we have, whatever comes in our life, and to the people around us. Being grateful helps an individual feel more positive emotions and build good relationship to others. Second, we must be respectful to our fellow men, and also to ourselves. Respect is one of the absolute human value or attribute one must have in order to have a strong relationship with other people and create a better community. Another is that we should also practice being an open-handed person. Being able to lend a hand to those who are in need and help them as much as we can, even in the simplest and littlest ways possible. Lastly, we must also practice being a well-mannered person. Being well-mannered by starting in a simple way, for example by asking questions or responding politely, we are able to develop a good character as well as a pleasant fellowship. As a human, we learn, experience, and understand the things around us as part of growing. A person who practices GROW Theory grows as an ethical person with more improvements, healthier and meaningful life ahead.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
The advantage of this theory is the impact of these actions to other’s life, as well as our own life. By doing these practices, no one knows, but this can give a big impact to other people, in a good way, which could help him or her in his or her journey of life. Also, to ourselves, these practices can help us a lot in achieving a life of fulfillment and learnings. On the other hand, its disadvantages may be a negative impact to other people (depending on the person encountered), or may be taking advantage on one’s kindness.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics helps people determine what is right and wrong, what is good and bad, and guides people on their choices and decisions in life. Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason because people are those who take actions and make decisions. Ethics and life are inseparable. It helps people observe and look at their own lives and evaluate all their actions, choices, and decisions wherein these actions and decisions certainly affect the quality of our lives which also is a factor that makes us who we are and determine our future.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
My formulated ethical theory in life is "The Goodwill Theory". I think that to be kind shows love and respect to other people. It connects and build relationships with others and also it influences others to the same. To be kind is not just for other people but also for ourselves. The way we treat and care ourselves is the foundation on how we see and approach others.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
I think the advantages in my formulated ethical theory are it remind and shows that everyone can be kind, to value one's self and others, it considers that feelings and thoughts of others, do the good deed and can influence others to do also the right thing. For the disadvantages, I think that people will take your for granted, people will not respect you, you will meet wrong kind of people and you will forget about yourself.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics is a moral principle where the basic foundation deals with right and wrong. This is the core being or character of the person that deals on its actions and behaviors. Therefor, ethics deals with the person on how he/she will live his/her life in right way.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
- The ethical theory that I think formulate in my life is “Utilitarianism” because they said that morality has a lot of purpose in our life and it makes my life better by doing and increasing the amount of good things. In general, whatever is being evaluated, we ought to choose the one that will produce the best overall results and it is the action or policy that produces the largest amount of good. However, the one thing that limits the utilitarianism is it’s difficult to know with certainty whether the consequences of our actions will be good or bad because we cannot predict the future.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?
- The advantages of it is, it provides a clear and easy-to-understand guidelines. It is one of the forms of consequentialism that states that everything has a consequence. There are rewards if you do something good, and there are repercussions if you do something wrong. With this in mind, people will strive to be morally and ethically good to avoid the consequences. If everyone shares this ideal and puts it into practice, the world would be an amazing place to live in. No one would drink and drive because of the possible negative effects. And, the disadvantages of it is, it has time-consuming and difficult. Can you imagine calculating total utility for every action you take? It would be difficult and time-consuming, unless you have done everything and knows exactly the consequences and rewards. For instance, before you turn in a project, you have to stop and think if you have done everything right.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object or reason.
- To put it simply, ethics represents the moral code that guides a person’s choices and behaviors throughout their life. The idea of a moral code extends beyond the individual to include what is determined to be right, and wrong, for a community or society at large. The individual's has a right to choose for herself or himself. According to some philosophers, what makes human beings different from mere things is that people have dignity based on their ability to choose freely what they will do with their lives, and they have a fundamental moral right to have these choices respected. People are not objects to be manipulated; it is a violation of human dignity to use people in ways they do not freely choose.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
When people do good to others, they typically anticipate something in return. This has a negative impact on them since it has made them selfish. Furthermore, they are left dissatisfied because they have spent more time expecting to have the same value in return to what they did. Having said that, I formulated the “Theory of Unconditional Good”. This theory is about doing good to others without expecting something in return, because expect something in return when you do something good, the purity of it will be lost. Having said that, this theory does not apply to those you do good to, because by simply doing nice to someone without expecting anything in return may also bring you joy. Moreover, being kind to other without expecting anything in return can have a positive impact on your emotional health.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?
The advantage of the formulated theory is that doing good without expecting something in return makes you a selfless person. In your heart, you gain genuineness. You begin to sincerely do good for others. In addition, the theory can help us see a new perspective on the world and will make us a be a better person as a result. On the other hand, the disadvantage of this theory is that people can take advantage of your kindness.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason because it is concerned with well-founded principles for how individuals should behave. It is concerned with how individuals should behave. In all instances, moral people seek to make the right choice as possible. Having said that, being ethical still depends on the choice that make people make, they don’t become ethical by memorizing all the values or principles of ethics, but rather by applying it in real situations.

Ambiente ethics is referred to as Environmental Ethics in English. The act of determining what is good and bad for the environment is known as environmental ethics. It's a solid start toward a more harmonious connection between humans and the environment. Environmental ethics complement scientific knowledge by bringing human values, moral standards, and better decision-making into the mix. We can ensure that as human beings, shepherds of the world, we do our part to maintain the environment by following this code of ethics. Human beings are thought to be the most intelligent species on the planet. As a result, we have the upper hand in terms of environmental protection.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
Environmental ethics has the benefit of improving human communities and ecosystems while also safeguarding critical resources for the present and future. The drawback is that humans are also the source of pollution in the environment. The increased demand for resources is also a contributing issue, as we all want food and shelter.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics are a set of moral rules that influence a person’s behavior, implying that in dealing with ethics and ethical problems, the individual is more essential than anything else. When one does not want to dispute their understanding of a problem, the reason is an appropriate way of knowing for ethical decisions. Ethics have an impact on how people make choices and live their lives. Ethics, often known as moral philosophy, is concerned with what is beneficial for individuals and society.

The ethical theory that may apply in my life is “Theory of Two-Minds.” Most of the people can’t decide at first try and they do it with hesitation or they can’t decide if they do these or do that. This theory is about being hesitant to make decision and like having two minds that contradicts each other. This theory is looks like deontology. Deontology is choosing what you think is correct or for the good of many, and theory of two-minds is about having two idea that contradicts each other
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
Advantages of “Theory of Two-minds”:
• Choosing what is good for you and also for others
• Having enough time to think the consequences of the action you choose
Disadvantage of “Theory of Two-minds”:
• Having hard time choose or to make decision
• Taking longer time to think about the consequences

My ethical theory in life is that, what I think will be good for my love ones, I will do it myself. I put myself back when it comes to the people I love. Most people around me have told me that I am so very selfless. I always care and help for others even I cannot help myself anymore. It has been my virtue that as long as I can help with all the means that I can, I will help.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
The advantage of my theory is that, I get satisfied when someone was grateful and thankful to me. I feel overwhelmed every time I helped someone. However, the disadvantage is, people always see me available to help them when they are in need and if I declined, they will say something bad to me. Also, there is no longer time for me to help myself because I am busy helping others to the point that I get exhausted. I always say yes to those people who are asking for my help to the extent that they think that I am a super human and I can do everything. I get tired too but it seems that they do not care.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics varies from person to person because we have different characters and people we value. The judgement in everything will be different depending on the person who is in such situation. What is good to me might be bad to others, and what is good to them is bad for me. We have different opinions and views about what is happening and the decision and choices will be different because we are different persons.

Me, as a ordinary person and have a lot of friends and acquaintances around me and I have this kind of personality or let's say ethics in me which is respect. We all know that respect is one of the most important trait that we should never forget about because it can depends for the people on how they will treat you. Another trait that I have is being a responsible. As a responsible person or friend or son, I am responsible for how I behave. I always think carefully and be calm before I take actions or decisions. I am responsible for what I will do so that I will not harm people around me.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
The benefit of being respectful is that you can easily get along with the people around you, such as friends and loved ones, and of course, people who already know what your true behavior is. The disadvantage for me is that you will be abused, especially if you are too kind to someone, because they can consume the kindness you have, and you may imagine what you did wrong that they have to abuse you. So, in terms of how we interact with others, I hope they reciprocate because we will both benefit and gain respect for each other.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
When one does not want to doubt their understanding of a problem, reason is an appropriate way of knowing for ethical decisions. As a result, ethical judgements can be made without regard for the problem at hand if they are based on logic.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
I think the ethical theory that is suitable on the way how I perceive things in life relates with awareness therefore I will formulate the “Cognizance Theory”. This theory suggests that people act based on the awareness of the pros and cons, and cause and effect of the current situation. People who act based on cognizance theory mostly weigh on what option will give best result based on the information presented at the situation. Most of the time, people act based on their instincts of what they think was good or bad and what will yield a better outcome. If all of us act based on awareness, therefore the probability of making faulty decisions would reduced in a greater number.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
Advantage - If people act based on awareness and benefit-based decisions, the possibility of making unethical decisions will be lessen. Although there’s no guarantee that most of them will choose the most ethical option, the awareness about the consequences of faulty actions keep them from straying on the right path. I myself, act based on my awareness of the possible outcome of my choices. I’ve seen a lot of people deciding hastily only to regret their decision once the result of their choice is right before their eyes.
Disadvantage - Although people act based on awareness in this theory, there’s no absolute assurance that what they choose is the right choice. Awareness means that you still need to use your own instinct when making decisions. This means that there’s a lot of possible outcomes and it’s still prone to wrong actions.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
First of, ethics is a very broad study. I think what the phrase “ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason” mean is that, there are times where we cannot reason out things. Human behavior is bizarre. We all have different personalities, feelings, point of views, beliefs, and we act based on those points. The only thing that kept us in place is the law and norm in our society. Since every people is different from one another, what ethics is trying to deal with is the person itself by understanding and analyzing the human nature. Although we all have different innate characteristics, there’s always a pattern to follow if we observe how our life unfolds.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
Based on what I think of what I want that will do good for the humanity and our world, I came up with the theory, “Benevolence Theory”. Benevolence meaning being well; kindness. This theory is all about people being kind towards one another that will contribute to everyone’s life. People tend to have a good day when someone helps them whenever they’re in trouble or did a good deed even when there’s no exchange. Being kind brings meaning to our lives.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?
The advantage of it is that it brings kindness to each of us resulting to a cycle of kindness. Performing acts of kindness can reduce anxiety and stress and may create a satisfying life for oneself. While the disadvantage of Benevolence Theory is that kindness is up to us if we want to consider it as our weakness, people think that it is a sign of weakness because it makes us soft and indecisive or being kind may not deliver the best work. The disadvantage of it is choosing it as a weakness or not.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
People's beliefs about whether activities are right or wrong, or good or terrible, are based on how they feel about them rather than on logic or systematic ethics. Ethics deals with the person because people are unpredictable, sometimes they know what’s right but tend to do wrong because of their emotions or them being irrational.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
There is a vast number of ethical theories, whether or not you believe in those theories is a matter of opinion and personal belief. For this reason, people can take the general concept of a theory and explain it in a way that aligns with their beliefs. Personally, I feel as though there is some truth in most, if not all, ethical theories. Though, there is one theory in particular I have taken a liking to; and this theory is egoism. Egoism, in the most general terms, is a theory in which a person is motivated by their own self-interest to further their wants or goals. This theory can be interpreted in a number of ways, one of them is that it is considered selfish. Egoism, is not necessarily selfish in that it may be in your own self-interest to do something for others.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
As time goes by, my opinions on the topic have changed, especially when I learn about the different arguments each side makes that for me is a disadvantage.
As an advantage I learn about the different arguments each side makes. I will take some arguments from both sides to help explain egoism. Through my explanation on my understanding of egoism, I will ultimately express my views on this social issue as well. Though it is important to keep in mind that my main goal is to explain each side of the debate through the views of an egoist and whether or not each side is morally sound.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics definitely deals the person as it defines the person as the a whole as where the person came from, what this person is currently doing and what would that person going through in the future.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
- If I’m going to formulate an ethical theory in my life that will be name as “Positivism”. It is a theory that suggests actions according to the positive side of a person or in a situation. It is somehow similar to the phrase “always look on the brighter side” as positivism makes a person think positively before conducting an action or making a decision. I choose to formulate this theory because I always practicing this mindset without even noticing it. I pause and think for few seconds on what is the positive side of this situation/person before I speak or make an action especially when I’m angry because it will help me to not to worsen the situation and hurt other people then eventually regret my action in the end.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?
- Some of the advantages of positivism are: (1) It makes a person think and analyze first the situation before conducting an action according to its positive side, (2) Situations will not be worsen (3) Promotes better communication and relationship with others, and (4) lightens the mood or the emotion of a person as he/she does not dwell on the negative vibes.
- For the disadvantages it has: (1) it may invalidate some emotions like anger, sadness and desperation because we still need to embrace those emotions to be motivated to move and be inspire to create something better, and (2) too much positivism can create too much comfort, which is not good because we have to face the reality that there are hard times in life and we should concur it to empower ourselves.

- Ethics are the set of moral principles that guide a person's behavior. It is concerned with what is good for individuals and society which also describe as moral philosophy. These morals are shaped by social norms, cultural practices, and religious influences of human that became a reflection on what is right from wrong and good from bad.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
My formulated ethical theory in life is the “Theory of Love”. As a human being, the most powerful act is love because it has no limits. This idea can make a difference in someone's life by simply doing what no one else is willing to do. It gives light to those people who gives and receives and guide us to do what is right and good. We have the ability to express our love, thoughts and feelings through words and actions. Everything we do is love, being honest, kind, and respectful etc. It guides our desires, goals, dreams and even our purpose in life. It will serve as a guide in our decision-making process in our life. Love is the key to discovering the meaning of life.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?
The Love Theory guides us in making decisions and recognizing what is the right thing to do. It influences and encourages people to practice good morals and do what is morally good. It destroys the hate, selfishness, and greed that hinders unity. It doesn’t cause harm to individuals but if we use this in a bad manner and greediness it can cause hatred and conflicts.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics deals with the person because as a human beings, we can figure out what is good and bad and what is right and wrong. It is based on moral principles that guide what humans should do. It determines whether our actions or behaviors are good or bad. It will assist us in changing the way we think as well as our human practices and behaviors.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
The ethical theory that is fitted to how I look at justice when there is a situation where one of my acquaintances is having trouble with a stranger. I’ll call this theory the "Integrity Theory". This theory refers to how you will react in a situation if one of your acquaintances has done the wrong thing to a stranger. You are the only one who saw what really happened. If I am in that situation, then I am the only one who is a witness. I will state the truth and not cover up my acquaintance's disappearance. In this kind of situation, most of us will be on the side of the acquaintance, even if he is wrong. I believe that stating the truth will make the situation more conflicted, even if it exchanges bad feelings towards your acquaintances. Saying the truth helps you to have no regrets in the end and nothing will bother your mind.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?
Advantages of "Integrity Theory":
• When people decide, they always aim to be fair and just.
• They weigh the circumstances and do not decide carelessly.
• Thoughtful about the outcomes of every decision.
• There's no need to hide anything because there's nothing to hide.
Disadvantages of "Integrity theory":
• Someone might get hurt or there could be conflict.
• The relationship between the two might get worse.
• You might believe you're the only one who understands something.
3. Expand on the idea that ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics is a moral principle that assists people in determining what is right and wrong, good and bad, and guides them in making life decisions. As a result, ethics is concerned with the individual because the individual is the one who does the activities, whether they are ethically correct or not, and the individual has the ability to distinguish between things.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
- Have you ever wondered the reason of why we exist in this world? We are always moving forward knowing that there will be an end at the last chapter of our lives, thus, why do we still insist on living? The ethical theory on life that I propose were entitled by “The Reason We Exist Theory” which talks about the titles itself. For every end, there will be a new beginning, and the beginning leads to the end, it is only right for us to make the whole process meaningfully. The journey of our lives is an arduous process, but as times goes by, we slowly discovers the very essence of our lives, and learned the values and morals that we should possess in order for us to successfully integrate on the society.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
- The advantage of my theory is that we live in order to search for our worth and enhance it upon discovering, on this way we can know for sure that we are living meaningfully. While its disadvantages were sometimes, we get lost on our way, not knowing if we are on the right track because we don’t know what the lies ahead of us. However, what was more important was to turn the disadvantages into our favor so that we will be able to move forward. Similarly, on our lives, there were always advantages and disadvantages that we experienced. Some were born in a well-off family, while the others were born on the bottom of the society, but even so, we insist to live and fight for our lives. There might be ups and downs on the process, but we are surely improving and slowly getting the answer on the reason of our existence.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
- Based on what I have learned on our previous discussions, ethics means the core being of a person or self, with this, we can infer that ethics exists in an individual rather than being an object of reason. The values, morals, and principles that we learned from our childhood until now builds up our self, in which we can consider it that ethics truly deals with the person because it inquires and investigate the morality.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
My ethical theory in life is the "pace theory". As I grow up, I have realized that we should learn to accept the fact that each of us have different paces. There is nothing wrong if the person who is the same age as you, was your batchmate or a childhood friend have gotten all their goals in life while you are still studying and trying to get your thoughts together. We should remind ourselves not to compare our life with others but instead look how far we've got and our improvements. In that way, we won't feel any pressure or make the evil in us slowly overcome the person we worked hard for to become in the present. Life is a competition they said but isn't exhausting how your mindset would be trying to race and win over other people just because you want to feel you are better than them?
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
As for me, I see nothing disadvantages in pace theory. In this, I have realized that not everything I do needs to be in a rush. I have free myself from thinking that I can't do better and I'm losing just because there are a lot of people I personally know that has better life than mine. Lastly, I help myself from going downfall in which I am proud the most.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason because most of the time behind those knowledge we have. We know whats right and wrong, we tend to still do the opposite of doing what is right.

I reflect and realize things that describes myself. And start questioning myself on what would I be doing through all these years. Through that a formulate theory that describes myself, which is the “Philanthropical Theory”. Philanthropical means being able to help others than his/herself. I am a kind of person that is helpful and kind. I validate other people's feelings than my own. I always consider them in my decision in life. And also, I always choose their happiness over mine. I think that’s part of my life and my personality, to be able to help them and making them happy. Therefore, that characteristic describes me as a person and individual.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?
For me, the advantage of my theory is that I will be able to help others and make them happy in different way. And I know what is good and right for them and to myself. The Disadvantages is that I can't decide on my own without a validation of others because I don't want to disappoint them to the decision that I make. And also, I can’t choose my own happiness because I don't want to become selfish.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics deals with the moral principles that believed by a person. Ethics deals with people because they are the one who is responsible by his/ her own actions that causes a good or harm to them. They are the one who knows what is right or wrong. Therefore, people reflect their lives through ethics.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
- Have you ever wonder what is motive of a person on his/her righteousness, to do good and to know what right and wrong. With that, I formulated my ethical theory in life entitled " The theory of motive in doing kindness" How people do good? Why people do the right thing? Why people do wrong even they know it is wrong. That's some of the questions I always come up when it comes to kindness. Nowadays, people do good if someone see them, they do the right thing if it has a good feed back to them so what are the factors or reasons why some people do good conditionally. That ethical theory is already applied in my life, sometimes I asking myself what are reasons for me to do good, but I always ended to an answer that doing good need to be unconditional and even people do bad to you, just set aside it and think our God will see what is the desire of our hearts and God see all things we do.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
-The advantage of this ethical theory is that people will know thst doing good is unconditional and they will become aware about their actions if it they doing good because there are factors or they are doing good because they want it from their heart. Meanwhile, the disadvantages of this theory is that, it may become an eye opener to some people but people will resist it and still think that their actions is their responsibilities. Also, people will do good at the moment but as time passes, they will still do bad even they know what is right. The last decision is in every individual or specifically in yourself.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
-Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason because it govern every individual to know what is good and bad. Life is a choice however, because of ethics, our life have noe a guidelines or standards in doing every action in our life. We are living in a society having different beliefs, opinions, behaviors, personalities etc. hence ethics helps us to be organized as well as to have respect and peace. Ethics is very significant in every individual in society.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
- My ethical theory in life is "The Hope theory". As a human being, it is natural to us that we experience problems. We get hurt, we get wounded, sometimes that wounds cannot heal immediately. And sometimes that wounds that we have are caused by our loved ones. We all face problems, no one is exempted from it, but we experienced it in a different level of pain. But despite that, there is always a hope waiting for us. The hope theory is the people who see that there is always a hope even in a hard situation. I do believe that all of us is a warrior of God and God is our king. Usually in a war, warriors cannot go into a war without the order of the king. Just like us, when we experienced war in our life, learn to go and ask the king, that is God. And by that, you will see and find that shining hope that will calm your heart and there will be a little voice whispering to your mind that everything will be okay.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
- The advantages of The Hope is theory is that, it will teach you to see that there is always a hope no matter how hard is your situations. Even you feel that it is impossible to solve or happen, this theory is the one who will remind you that everything will be going to be the best beyond what you plan. Also, this theory will help you to fight not the literal battle, but the battles that we have in mind. While disadvantages of this theory is that, if we almost expect for that moment to happen, but sadly it didn't. Our capability of believing will be one of the affected part. Also, sometimes we continue our wrong doings even though we know what is the right thing to do. Abusing of chances of hope will be the result of it. Lastly, we need to have wisdom for us to know how to use and not to lose the chance that we almost have in our hands.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
- Ethics is about the moral principles or right and wrong behaviors, it deals with the person rather than the object because the person is the one who will do or act the behavior. They are the one who will show it, that is why ethics is more about the person's character or who is he/she within.

To live life that is morally correct and acceptable before the eye of God and man. Attempting to love what is expected and obligated to do by determining right from wrong and to live harmoniously among fellowmen by doing what is good for the community.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
The advantage of this theory is that everyone agrees that there are absolutely rights and wrongs generally. It encourages people to work according to moral basis and creates a society where people thrive to be morally upright. The disadvantages include self-defense ideas, danger of building false expectation and making it difficult to determine right and wrong.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics deals with a person in the sense that it gives a person a chance to listen to each other and by such you are building some ideas as to what you are listening to. There are times that we may disagree with other ideas, but we do disagree respectfully. Ethics teaches us when to speak for ourselves, considering views that are different from our own. Ethics also help others to express their ideas by respectfully challenging each other’s thinking.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
My formulated ethical theory in life is all about thinking happy thoughts, and I called it an Optimistic theory. This theory looks like the idea in the movie peter pan to make them fly, but for me, I used to think happy thoughts because it has a big impact on my mental health which led a way for me to be able to continue my life without drowning in my negative side and thoughts. It simply means that I approach the good and the bad things in life with the expectation that all things will have a great outcome, or it will go well at the end of the day. Maybe, I do formulate this as my coping mechanism because it makes us strong and helps us to see beauty in our daily lives which is the reason for good decision making in life.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?
The optimistic view aids us in seeing the beauty in whatever difficulty or conflict we might encounter. It has an impact on how we make decisions. It also has a positive impact on our mental health, preventing anxiety and depression. Having an optimistic approach might help you overlook the negative aspects of life, leaving you unprepared for difficult times.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics deals with the person because humans are the ones who decide. Humans are the ones who make choices and carry out an action/activity. We can easily identify things whether it is good or bad. Knowing the difference between bad and good helps us to have better decisions in life. It affects our behavior and shapes our characters today.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
The ethical theory that I would formulate based upon my life experiences is about keeping one's private life. I grew up with gossiping neighbors, so dealing with these people was hard. Aside from them, there comes my relatives who loves to talk and infiltrate in our lives. So I'd like my ethical theory that would give me the right who to tell what I want to be, my past traumas, what I'm going through, or my life experiences. Where I could keep quiet and still when they ask, not beeing pushed and told rude when I don't want to answer. I'd keep it simple by calling it "My Privacy" theory. It is so that I could live a life without those judging eyes and harmful mouths of others.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
Advantages:
-It would be better for my mental health because I decide who to trust with my life stories.
-Less stress and gossip from others.
-Will have more privacy in life
Disadvantages:
-The person I trusted could betray me.
-Not many would be updated of my life.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
I agree on the idea that ethics deals witth the person rather than the object of reason. Based on our past class discussions, ethics tackles about our core being or core self, our quality of life and behavior. It is about our innate selves, how we undertand things and rightness and wrongness of our acts. Therefore, it deals with the person itself rather than the object of reason.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
In my daily life, I make guarantee that everything that surrounds me has value. As a result, I am completely aware of the ideal decision to make for everyone in my surrounding who defines Utilitarianism. Because I have a practical mindset, I prefer to select what is best for the greater welfare of the majority above what is best for me. There's also a part of me that defines Deontology. As the second-to-eldest grandchild, my family has a lot of expectations of me. That is why, even if they do not demand it, I should consider my obligations and duties. I am hoping that by doing so, I will be able to give them what they deserve after all their sacrifices for me.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
I am delighted when I am able to provide the best for my family and offer them everything they deserve. It is my great pleasure to help everyone who surrounds me in their pursuit of happiness. It's also a relief to fulfill my obligations and duties to them, since it serves as a reminder of why I'm living. These are the benefits of my life's ethical theories, utilitarianism and deontology, however, on the other hand, putting so much emphasis on meeting my family's wants and happiness causes me to feel pressured and stressed to the point where I can't think of myself.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics is concerned with how we perceive people's behavior and moral ideals both inside and outwardly, and it relates to a human person's essential being, attributes and character. Ethics is defined as the examination and investigation of morality rather than the object of reason; in this manner, ethics is a right or wrong. The object of reason is only one aspect of ethical reasoning; the major goal of ethics is to understand people's perceptions of what it means to live a good life.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
My ethical theory on life would be called "The Sankofa Theory". "Sankofa" is a phrase that was originated from the Akan Twi and Fante languages of Ghana. The meaning of it is 'to go back and fetch it; in the most elaborated description is we must go back and reclaim our past so we can move forward, and so we can understand why and how we came to be who we are. Africans usually use this phrase to remind them to reach back in their ancient history that has been left behind. For me, it is indeed important to know and understand our origin because it will help us to foresee our future, and to choose the best decisions in life. Past is not something we should be afraid of, it is a huge part of our character. It is a lesson that helps us to mold ourselves to be better people. Everything even the simplest has a role in our life.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?
The advantages of it are it will help us to decode and understand our origin. It will help us to be more aware and appreciate our descent. It will also help us to prevent bad things or decisions to happen because we already knew the consequences of those things. Moreover, we learn to value simple thoughts and actions. And for the disadvantages, nowadays there are a lot of things that are very far from our culture and traditions from before. It will be somehow complicated and some of those are socially unaccepted already. Although, the theory does not just solely focus on culture and traditions but also on our past. For that matter, some people had a dark past and it is very sad to reminisce about that past.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics from its definition 'moral principles that govern a person's behavior'. Ethics deals with how people choose their decisions into something and how they evaluate choosing those decisions like how it will affect their future, the people around them, and also their morality. It is the study of how certain people evaluate their situation.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
As I reflect on my life I must say that if I will formulate an ethical theory it will be “Humanity theory”. We live in this world wherein not a lot of us have the same privilege in life, not everyone can have their wants in life. This theory will focus the value of human life on how to make a decision that is suitable for all. It helps in assisting the improvement of people's well-being and happiness.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
The advantage of this theory is that you become sensitive to others’ feelings wherein you can easily adapt their emotions. Also, it teaches you to become transparent about what you see to other people. The disadvantage of this theory is that you become selfless not thinking more about yourself. Also, the people will become dependent on you.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Looking into the meaning of Ethics, it has different interpretations depending on the perception of each individual. However, logically speaking, Ethics is made to differ and conceptualize the right and wrong behavior which directly involves a person. We, as a human, is experiencing different kinds of situation in our lives that affect our morality and how we act ethically. This shows how ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason in a way, where a virtuous person would act accordingly in a situation wherein the acting in order to bring about good consequences isn't overlooked. In short, Ethics is a way for people to know how to act in a specific situation without any attachment to the problem itself.

In my daily life, I'm constantly confused of what will happen if I do this or that without knowing it, but ethical theories play a major role in my life, and I believe they are also my path to where I may unintentionally or consciously go. Utilitarianism is an ethical philosophy that shapes my life since it instructs or directs me on what I will do, must do, and will do in my daily life and even when I make decisions.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
The advantages of this theory is simple and easy to understand. It focuses on the happiness of all individuals or members of a community and it educates us about hurting others is clearly wrong and also It focuses on the outcome of our actions, such as consequences. The disadvantages of this theory include the fact that it ignores other factors except happiness because it is just concerned with happiness, it is unpredictable, and it's always dependent on other people making consistent decisions.
3.Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
The reason why ethics is concerned with individuals is since individuals are the ones who do the right and wrong actions, and individuals are the ones that decide what they will do or not do. People are given freedom by the creator, which means they are free to do whatever they want. However, this freedom will always affect their morality, behavior, characters, values, and perspective, which is why ethics are formed and formulated in every person in this world, not just to know and learn about ethics but also to apply ethics, particularly ethical theories, in their daily lives.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
Thinking about it, my ethical theory in life will be named “Theory of Self-love”. It is where we focus more on ourselves rather than always giving love to others. As we notice, sometimes we overgive our love to others to the point where we don’t leave some for ourselves. Meaning, when that certain person is gone you will lose also all your love and start building yourself from zero.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
There is nothing wrong with loving yourself because self-love is the best love. The advantage is that we are able to protect ourselves from others and we won't feel empty just in case we lose our special someone or significant others. We will grow not especially for others but specifically for us. We guarantee that this theory is helpful for everyone mostly to those people who are virgins in love. The advantage that I think of is only if we focus on this theory we can’t rush things even if the opportunity is there. if someone offers you a job and as a critical person you will think that you can’t even if the salary is big because you know yourself that you cant do the heavy workload that the job has.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics is all about how a person reacts to certain things. No matter how hard we pretend that we are good but in a sudden reaction, we don’t expect the true color will show. It is our principles as a person our natural behavior. It is like how we are when we are alone in our true form. Meaning, it deals with us the person rather than the object of reason.

"Caring theory" is my ethical life theory. The term caring theory means that relationships that are helpful, trustworthy, and caring should be fostered. Furthermore, sharing is caring means that if you share with someone, you care about them like your family, friends, and so on. For example, if you share food with someone else because you don't want them to go hungry.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
This ethical theory's advantage is that it helps us in making decisions. As a result, if we make a good decision before acting, the outcome will be positive because we have a guideline. However, we must prioritize our decision, which is the most important thing.
The disadvantage of this ethical theory is that we will not be able to make clear decisions in our lives without it. So we may take a harmful or incorrect action, resulting in a poor outcome, or we may be dissatisfied with it.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics is a branch of study that deals with the understanding of the proper action for man. It is concerned with the norms of conduct of people as members of society because it helps us understand what is good or bad and deals with moral duties and obligations.

If I were given a chance to formulate my own ethical theory it would be all about "Deep understanding". In decision making, we often forget some points we needed to understand and consider for us to chose the right way. Giving judgment and conclusion in an instant will widely cause us to make decision wrongly. So it is important to us to think for it clearly before putting it on action.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
Its advantage is it can lessen or might avoid us on choosing wrong decision but the disadvantage of my theory is that we, the humans often overlook things or doesn't make efforts to see and think beyond our beliefs when we are emotional.

We all have our own theory on life that sometimes we never noticed that we created one. I have this theory "Overthinking theory of crime" it is amazing how people wide their though in a small thing or decision they made.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
Advantages of this theory, we will understand what drives people to overthink how they make small things to a critical one, to determine the roots and effects of overthinking. Help people who experience overthinking and let those thoughts eat them. To have deeper studies on how people react to their decisions and actions. I'm one of the people who always overthink in small things and sometimes all my thoughts eats me. It is very difficult to experience overthinking because it affects all the things you have.
Disadvantage of this theory, we all have different ways to overthink things and different reactions when we overthink. It is a wide theory that need a thorough research and studies.

- Numerous individuals today, does not appreciate the work of other people. Such as artists, singers, players, etc. So, the ethical theory that I think i will like to formulate is the theory of appreciation. This basically means to appreciate all things that you see or receive things that have given to you by your parents, friends, and other people. They may be not your desired things and suit for your taste, but the effort and time of having trouble to give it to you is priceless.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
- The advantages of this are all works, and efforts of individuals are being recognize and acknowledge by different people. This also provide respect to everyone else as it applies in valuing someone's work. While the disadvantages of this some people will be encouraged to do more but other people also will not push themselves to their capable of. They may not get out on their comfort zone and may not have any sort of development.

- Ethics deals with the moral principle of an individual. It focuses to the person itself not the object of reason. Ethics serves as a guide to every person in distinguishing what is right or wrong, and good or evil in order to have a meaningful life.

II. Activity
1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
My ethical theory in life is to “See things in a Weighing Scale.” It means that an action whether it seemed good or bad should be first weighed through intentions behind their act. I believe that there is no absolute evil nor absolute good as humans always has a driving force deep within. Clarifying this, there is good and bad; but to say someone is completely evil or completely good is like saying some humans can do no wrong or some humans can do nothing bad; in which implying dehumanization of humans. To judge base on the surface level is foolish because I also believe that “There’s evil within a good deed, and a light within the evil.”
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?
An advantage of this kind of ethical theory in life is that you can see things in an abstract way. You’ll be able to see the motivations of a person to do a certain act so that you can characterize whether a person is good or evil. This will make you able to sympathize with someone easily and understand someone through their motivations. For the disadvantage, it is hard to make a verdict on someone who’s done a horrible crime against another person. People can also be easily manipulated through emotions and sympathy with this way of thinking.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Since ethics deals with studying concepts of which are morally right or wrong, we can say that ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason. Humans are the one who identifies which is morally good and bad. And it is nature in humans to lean on doing the right thing as it can keep yourself and others safe with whatever actions you may do in each step of the way in your life.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
- My theory on life is very similar to others, "You can be a light for some and darkness for others." In life you cannot be always a light, you cannot always be someone to lean on, you cannot be always be there for others, but you can if you want. You be darkness for some because it's not your job to be a light for all of the people.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
- the advantage on it is that you inspire people, you can help them achieve what they want, and you can be a way for them to realized things. The disadvantage is that it always depends on situation and to the people itself.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
- Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason, ethics is very subjective. It always depends on what will the person can feel or what will the person achieve rather than the object of reason.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
The ethical theory that I would formulate based upon my life experiences is about fair and respect to others. My parents taught me as a child that everyone is equal and that you should treat others the way you want to be treated, which is with kindness. With each passing day, we witness others' incapacity to treat us fairly because of their status, age, color, or culture. I feel like this theory will make our world changed. We must ensure that all of our decisions and actions are fair and just, regardless of our position. This will ensure that our society has a positive environment. I constantly keep in mind that everyone, regardless of who they are or what position they hold, deserves to be treated with respect and dignity.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
The benefit of my personal view of "fairness and respect" is that it fosters sentiments of trust, safety, and well-being in our social interactions. Showing respect can shift the outcome of an argument, whether it's a minor quarrel or a major fight. When we show respect to others, they are more likely to listen to us. When we respect others around us, our message will be received better. Building Relationships is one of the most important aspects of showing respect to others. Respect can be expressed in a variety of ways, but it always comes down to strengthening your relationships with people. However, if you are excessively respectful and good, you will be taken for granted, and your goodness will be taken for granted. It might also manipulate your kindness.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
The role of ethics helps an individual to properly assess his own life and evaluate his actions, choices, and decisions. It also gives us a way to understand who we are, what is best for us, and what we must do to achieve. Moral philosophy can help us think more clearly about morality. As a contrary, it is concerned with the person rather than the object of reason.

1. My theory in life is "Respect theory" respecting others gives happiness to me, because respect is one of the most powerful expression of love.
2. The advantage is that you can gain respect from others too, but the disadvantage is that you can't please people to respect you
3. Because people is the one wgo does the right and evil things, whereas an object cannot.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
- If I were to name my own life theory, I would call it "The Theory of Good Things in Life," since I've realized that everything that happens in our lives is beautiful and important. It's like waking up to find out it's Sunday and you get an additional hour to sleep in. Being able to seize those fleeting moments of joy and do good in our families and communities. Also, someone is happy and smiling/laughing because of you. Using this idea will lead us to positive thinking habits that will definitely help us in knowing what is good for our lives.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
-I believe the advantage of this theory is that it informs and shows that everyone can do good things in life, including valuing oneself and others, conducting good deeds, and influencing others to do the same. On the negative side, I believe that others will take you for granted since you do nice things and that not everyone will like you.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
-The study of our moral values is referred to as ethics.
Ethics is concerned with humans since the person can determine what is ethically right and wrong, but the person is the one who makes the decision.
And that we may demonstrate this concept through our actions.

- my theory in life is "theory of love" because in love you can do everything that makes you happy and it'll see your love in things that you are gonna do.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
-the advantage of my theory is we can have a peace in this chaotic world and we can also be successful in life if we use this theory in everything that we are doing. But the disadvantage of this theory it will hurt you if you didn't get what you want especially if you really really love that thing or person or job or if you didn't feel that you give your best in that certain situation that you love. And it might lead you to anxiety or depression.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
-ethics is a system of principles that helps us tell right from wrong, good from bad. Ethics can give real and practical guidance to our lives. ethics is concerned in human feelings or actions than object of reasoning.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
Based on the discussion earlier, I consider myself as a person who decides based on the outcomes of the situation. Thus, my ethical theory of life is utilitarianism. According to the definition, the most ethical decision is the one that will result in the greatest good for the largest number of people. As I mature, I tend to focus on what is best for the majority. I would always predict if my actions and decisions will be good or bad. However, in my course of maturation, I realized that I failed in building mutually beneficial relationships among the people around me. Hence, I begin to set-up my decisions wherein I also consider the minority and serve them with dignity and respect. I act accordingly in every obligation that I take. Therefore, deontology is my ethical theory.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
In my opinion, I think the greatest advantage of deontological ethics is that it emphasizes the worth of every person. Deontological ethics provides an equal respect and dignity for all. Hence, everyone has objective responsibilities, or duties, that they must fulfill. Nonetheless, I think one of the disadvantages of this is that it is very subjective making it difficult to define whether it is right or wrong.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
The idea of the phrase is that ethics will significantly benefit the person's thinking that will eventually reflect on his or her actions. It enhances our thinking. Applying ethics on a day-to-day basis will eventually transform our lives. It allows us to have a clearer vision of the consequences from our decisions. Additionally, it promotes the human good as a whole as it provides guidance for behavior that enables people to perceive the right from wrong.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
Integrity is concerned with "moral" norms and values, i.e., what is right or wrong, good or bad. The qualities also relate to a broad consent that applies to everyone in the same situation. This has to do with "legitimate" moral standards and conventions. In short, integrity is doing the right thing even when no one is watching. My ethical theory in life is “Integrity Theory”. Nowadays, people aren’t secured enough and confident about who they are as a person. There is nothing that can boost your self-esteem if you don't have integrity because you aren't honest about your morals and values. Being secure in who you are and reflecting it to others is what gives you confidence. Integrity gives you a sense of security and assurance about who you are as a person.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
Advantages of integrity is that there's no need to hide anything because there's nothing to hide. People learn to trust you when they see you tell the truth. There are no frills. Your speech will be clear, and you will not be stuttering as you try to come up with anything to say. People have a better ability to read you than you think. While integrity’s disadvantages is that it's possible that you believe you're the only one who knows something. That is simply not the case nowadays. If you're attempting to withhold something from someone so that they don't get hurt, I suppose that's a situational dilemma. How far would you be willing to go if you told the truth?
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics is based on well-founded moral norms that govern what humans should do, usually in terms of rights, obligations, societal benefits, justice, or specific virtues. Ethics deal with the person since it governs what a person ought to do. It is a matter of conflict within yourself, as per the last discussion in ethics, it deals with our core self. This is why ethics deals with person rather than the reason.

1.Formulate your ethical theory on life.
- Personally, in formulating the ethical theory of my life, it would be the “Accountability Theory”. Being accountable outgrows responsibility and is inextricably linked to it. A person who is responsible for results should understand that the type of his or her presentation will determine him or her. As what I have experience in my life not everybody are capable of being accountable. Having it is a big effect on a reputation of a person, which leads to inspires others to be it also.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
-The advantages of being accountable are, it makes you dependable by highlighting your objectives and successfully pressing you to improve on your previous performance. By putting you through personal obstacles, it encourages you to take responsibility for your actions. It promotes ownership. Also, conflicts develop when individuals blame one other for project faults, which is a well-known and verified reality. However, there are also disadvantages of being accountable, it may cause conflicts to your subordinates and when you are in a group work or project it may cause delays.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
-Since, ethics deals with the moral norms or values in person. It means that it is concerned with the individual since we can determine what is good and evil, or right and wrong as fellow human beings. It is founded on moral ideas that influence human behavior. It decides whether or whether our actions or behaviors are positive or negative. It will aid us in altering our thinking as well as our human practices and actions.

If I have a theory, I want to call it "rainbow" because there's a rainbow after the rain. It means for me there is always a solution to the problem and to always look on the brighter side and decide what you do and don't regret. When there is a problem, everything becomes okay because the problem is just going through and he is just an obstacle in our lives.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
The advantage is that you are not afraid to risk it and you know that when you do something, there is a solution. The disadvantage is that it is still positive.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
The sky is wider than the earth, which will mean more solutions than problems. So fight for life. At its simplest, ethics is a system of moral principles. They affect how people make decisions and lead their lives. Ethics is concerned with what is good for individuals and society and is also described as moral philosophy.

1.Formulate your ethical theory on life.
my ethical theory on my life is that the "theory of respect" if we all have respect everybody would be nice and have manners to everyone, respect is a must in every situation you can't forget the word respect where ever you go, if you have respect to others and if you treat them right they will treat you with respect too because what you do to them they will do that to you.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
the advantages of respect is that if you respect them you will receive a respect from them too, and for the disadvantage of it sometimes if you encounter a rude people the tendency of being respect to them is that they will think that you insulted them that is why sometimes if you are too respectful you might get in trouble. because of the misunderstanding.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
ethics deals with the person because the person is the one who do the theory and he is the one who's doing it while the object it is just a basis on whatever the theory made it is just a example or compared to support the theory.

1. Formulate your ethical theory in life.
The ethics of care theory is the one who formulated my ethics theory. It is a normative ethical theory that holds that moral action centers on interpersonal relationships and care or benevolence as a virtue. The term ethics of care refers to ideas concerning both the nature of morality and normative ethical theory. An ethics of care makes the nurturing of our immediate communities and the protecting of those closest to us the highest moral obligation. One of the good example of this theory is that we help to overcome those persons whose suffering from depression and anxiety, as a professional server of our country and fellowmen we applied ethical in this care.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?
The pros of this theory is that it allows us to focus our energy and concern on those who are closest to us. Everyone knows that there's injustice in the world, just as we all know we can't solve every problem. The ethics of care allows us to focus our energy naturally on the most immediate human needs. While the cons of it is that it threatens to devolve into tribalism. There’s my group, and I take care of them. As for all the rest of you, you’re in your groups and in charge of yourselves. This isn’t every man for himself, but it comes close to every social group for itself.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
First and foremost Ethics deal with the person rather than object of reason because a person have the ability to decide on a situation. A person is aware on what is right and what is wrong as well. Therefore, object of reason is followed by the decision of person who made it.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
• If I would formulate an ethical theory on life, I came up with the theory of self-awareness. It helps us to think or reflection to the actions or decisions we are going to make based on understanding or having a specific knowledge to a particular situation you're into. This can help us to identify the positive and negative impacts that may affect us.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
• It may have advantages we regards upon understanding each circumstances we encounter in our lives and reflect as possible to know the pros and cons. And it is somehow bad if that one self only consider himself when deciding on something or it can be also when we cannot guarantee people's decision, to do what we know that is right or to settle things for what we actually think as a good option for everyone.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
• If we will define what is ethics, it basically talks about of your core being or what or who you really are as a person or human being. As peopls grew up from different places, we specifically knew that we will adapt different cultures, beliefs, opinions, etc. And also, by learning from our experiences in life, a person can build his own judgment with regards to any circumstances he might run to in the future. Moreover, I believe that there is a portion that people have ways to understand each other or have similarities on handling people in a society that keeps us balance and organized like the laws or rules even though we have so many differences in some paces.

ReplyDelete1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
As an ordinary college student and a daughter to my parents, I encounter some dilemmas that are very difficult for me to decide on what should I do to make the situation better. If ever I will be given a chance to formulate my own ethical theory it will be the theory of Semper Invictus, which is a Latin phrase that advocates actions that foster well being of an individual. It means “always for the better and greater” we should base our decisions and actions on the welfare of our future and the future of our love ones. In doing the right thing, you may sacrifice some of the things that are valuable to you and it may hurt your feelings but it doesn’t mean that it will harm you.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
The advantage of the theory is it focuses on our welfare, on what would be the best outcome of our decisions. It’ll teach us to think carefully before we take action. The same as utilitarianism, the disadvantage of the theory of Semper Invictus is it didn’t consider the process of the decision; on how the individual would feel and how the individual would execute the decision but rather it focuses on the result of the action.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics is a moral principle that governs the behavior of an individual; it means that ethics deals directly with the person as it influences what the person should do in their life. Ethics guide us to always choose to do the right thing in every situation that we are in. Ethics is concerned with what is the good for individuals and to the society it prevents negative consequences of our impulsive behavior.

1. Formulate your ethical theory on life.
If I were to formulate my own ethical theory, it could be “act of service” theory. It is going out of their way to meaningfully help and support the other person. I love to serve and support my loved ones and people who needs help. I always felt good whenever I help people.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it.
The advantage of my own theory is that I can provide security and safety to people. When people take initiative to ease some of their responsibilities and burdens, it helps them feel taken care of, safe, and loved in return. For disadvantage not all people will appreciate the way you act to them.
3. Expand on the idea that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
Ethics deals with the moral norms and values of a person. It basically means that ethics help a person to better the moral and values of it. It also gives us a understanding of life.

1) Formulate your Ethical Theory on life??
The Ethical theory of my life is called "Compensation Theory" because as human beings we must compensate other people and learn to move on. I choose this theory because people are not easy to compensate, it takes time before they forgive the person. I think compensation is one of the most beautiful words that people can say and learn because if you are already how to say it toward to the person and you are already learning of that word, your life will change and the negativity of yourself will not grow and foster to yourself. Life is too short, we must forgive other people, we must learn how to forgive, learn from that experience, and do what makes you happy because at the of the day happiness and forgiveness are the only emotional thing that we can leave in this world.
2) What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?
The most advantage of the compensation theory is people can live peacefully because there is no word negative in their heart, they can influence other people by sharing their own experiences, they make many friends also and lastly the advantages of it are they will smile because there is no negativity in their faces and their heart. The disadvantage of the compensation theory is it’s not easy to learn and apply to ourselves because there is no compensation in the vocabulary word of our human nature. It takes a long time before the compensate word will appear or say of a person.
3) Expand on the idea that- Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason?
The idea says that ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason because in ethics the person is the main goal of this topic or the idea. In ethics, it involves the behavior and attitude of one person. It also involves the dilemmas and believes of one person that’s why the person is the object of ethics and does not the reason. Moreover, ethics has not based the reason, it is basing how people act and reason in certain situations. On the other hand, it is easy to deal with and study the person based on the object, behavior.

1. Formulate your Ethical Theory on life?
- The Ethical Theory that I wanted to formulate in my life is "Gratitude Theory" appreciation in something that we recieves from someone or happen to our life can boost anyone's morale and will be thankful to the blessings everyday. In that case, we can spread healthy and good vibes because even a small thing that someone gave to you matters to you personally and we can live a better life.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?
- The advantage of "Gratitude Theory" is it will help increase empathy to others and will lessen the evil doings in our mind.
- Helps our mental health stable because we are not insecure to others.
- Helps to communicate with others and build a strong relationship.
- The Disadvantage of it is toxic positivity even though something tragic happen we will still be thankful because someone close to us doesn't get hurt but someone that isn't close to us got hurt.
- If someone help you, you will feel accountable and needed to return the favor back and it might feel that you owe something to someone else.
3. Expand on the idea that- Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason?
- Ethics focuses on individual's behavior and action. Ethics is a social norm that someone needs to comply and ethics is responsible on helping every people improve their way of thinking and avoid the circumstances.
