Virtue Notes

 I. Introduction Virtue is supposedly something that we need to have. It can be intrinsic, a social condition or an intentional development of a person.  What makes a virtue desirable is the appeal to good reason and good behavior. However, developing one's virtue is a challenge of self-reflection, acceptance of feedback and a need to change and survive. II. Activity 1)  When was the last time someone admired your virtue and what specific virtue was observed? 2) If you need to work on a virtue, what will you do to make sure it becomes a part of you? Explain.

A Reflection on Ethical Theories

 I. Introduction Sometimes, what you think you know has already been established as a theory. Sometimes, a person follows a theory unintentionally but has been subscribing to it as a pragmatic choice in life. Theories should reflect the realities of life. However, sometimes theories hinder a person from becoming who needs to become. II. Activity 1. Formulate your ethical theory on life. 2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it. 3. Expand on the idea  that - Ethics deals with the person rather than the object of reason.
