Starting Point of Ethics
I. Introduction
Ethics is the study of the principles of morality. A person that is ethical should be moral. However, the issue of morality is subject to inconclusive and indefinite ways of understanding the issue of morality.
The sources of morality becomes a norm based of accepting what is practice and not what is absolute and ideal. Religion, opinions of men and other filters of doing what is right becomes relative.

2. In what ways, can I become more ethically aligned with my actions in society? Provide concrete steps.
1. It is when you know what is the norms and culture of other people, you know the best way applicable to make an ethical decision if you know what is right and wrong, and you know what is the standard of it base on Morals,Norms,Cultures, Convictions and etc.

First you must know the perspectives of other people, knowing what the culture behind why they dont allow this things, accepting other peoples perspective really helps because our society changes everyday. Also knowing the right and wrong behind everything, having.an absolute and based sources. Sometimes we dont accept other peoples perpective but we have to respect them. That is the mediator, having respect.
1. An ethical for me is a decision that engenders trust, and thus implies responsibility, fairness and concern for others.

For me it is yes because ethics is the science of moral principles. So I have to be a role model and visible. Like the example of Honesty. Many people view honesty as an important ethic. And we must obey the law.

- I can become more ethically aligned with my actions in society in the ways that, First I respect every religious beliefs and not be a badmouthing about them, Second is I respect and obey the laws of the government, Third is become honest in every decision I make, Fourth is respecting every culture in other places, and last is to have a character of morally right.

ReplyDelete-Ethical decision became possible by perceiving the good or best ethical decision and eliminate the unethical options that are acceptable.
2. In what ways, can I become more ethically aligned with my actions in society? Provide concrete steps.
- First by, having a good character or attitude in all I do, especially in communicating and treating others. Second, by Knowing others beliefs, so that I may know how I will going to treat them or communicate with them truthfully and respectfully. And lastly, is submitting myself to the authorities, in the rules and laws, that are rightful and acceptable.
1. Ethical decision is possible if it can create trust, can show respect, and responsibility. We should desire to do the right thing even if it cost something. It is important to always make decisions that are right for you and to the people around you. We must consider our own personal values and beliefs at the same time considering the standard of the community.

To become ethically aligned with my actions in society, I should always show respect because I know that everyone has their own beliefs and principles, we have different ways of living our lives. And showing respect to that is important. We should always remember that we may have differences but whatever it is we should still respect, accept and love one another.
For me, when you know what 1. is the right thing to do you should do it but based onthe norms or environmentally issue it has possibility to adopt any kind of action.

For me i stand to become a good example of person in a society, it's just because a perfect person is never felt down whatever it happens and i looking forward on what they say and i face it specially i will respect those person who don't believe and who believe my personality as a person in society. And the one thing that i have is i will never discriminate those other religion and i will respect them that's why this attitude that i have i will never shamed.
1. Ethical decision is possible by considering and reviewing others opinion/perspective. There are dicisions that's irrelevant to other group, so aside from knowing what's right from wrong we should be aware of the standard, norms, culture of the community.
ReplyDelete2. I should be considerate in many things knowing that everyone has their own stand and beliefs. By respecting others opinions and adjusting to the norms and standards of the given group we can also be aligned ethically.
Sometimes our mind are closed to how other view things, to how other group sees situation but we need to remind ourselves that not accepting their point can cause serious consequences for both individuals.
1. Ethical decision is possible when one person knows how to weigh things up. He or she doesn't do whatever he or she thinks is right, but always seek to follow the code of conduct. You have to stay vigilant and critical about the things you should do. You also have to consider other's perspective and beliefs and try not to judge them with how they behave. Mutual respect is significant.
ReplyDelete2. In order for me to become more ethically aligned with my actions in society, being socially aware is important. It will enables me to better understand the people around me. As we all know, people have their own principles and beliefs in life. With that being said, everyone of us must respect one another to avoid dispute. Furthermore, it is also essential to let myself be governed by the existing rule or law. Striving hard to make myself better each day, someone whom others can emulate.

An ethical decision makes it possible if a person is being responsible in all his/her actions, being considerate to others with respect and care and also choosing to do the right thing.

As an educator or instructor we should be a good role model in the society we are part of in a way of being responsible in our actions and also the way we speak as a citizen. Following the policy, the laws, the rules that are implemented. Being considerate to others, of course everyone has their own perspective and beliefs. And also being compassionate in helping the people, the environment, the community, the society.

ReplyDelete2. The classic example is the Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Other examples of societal ethical behavior include: Respect - Citizens must respect another's property, choices and lives. Loyalty - People put their family and friends' needs before their own.
That's our golden rule because helping and respecting others is one of the most feeling we felt after that.
1. Ethical decision established the unity of diverse community since philippines is in the line that has different beliefs we ought to accept others decisions, it's not all about us but also others, we should acept that the code of conduct individual should follow.
ReplyDelete2.To become ethicaly alligned of course I should know first what is needed to learn or basically I should be socially aware of what is happening, secondly is set a good example of an educator I am a christian educator who teaches the conduct to my student that can be also applied to the society I am belong to. thirdly is living my life were no one is declined in my perapective everyone is valuable and worthy of something.
