The Existence of GOD
I. Introduction:
The Philippines is a religious country. Since the early times that there are people in the country, the practice of believing in the supernatural and even the superstitious has been a part of its culture. The very nature of religion presupposes a Supreme Being, a Supernatural Creator and even a Sacrificial Saviour.
Faith is an expressions of one's spirituality and even religious upbringing. But as time goes on, the religious compliance of people has shown that a religious belief is a foundation and a framework of one's moral code.
There are two possible ways in which a person understands the world- a concrete orientation and an abstract orientation. A concrete orientation has an empirical persuasion in knowing the world- there should be evidence that can be seen and can undergo the test of naturalism. An abstract orientation has a ideal standpoint in knowing the world- non-material things. Symbols, concepts of states, freedom, love and other things consists the nature of reality.

1. What 5 things of a religious belief has shaped your moral code?
- Five religious beliefs that shaped my moral code are:
a. God's existence
b. one being accountable at death for his or her actions in life, with the award of heaven or hell
c. the incarnation, resurrection of the dead
d. miracle happens through prayer
e. the ten commandments
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
- in debates using God, beliefs, or bible as a reference, is truly not debatable,
as well as Him a strong argument. But I think, God as my platform to have a moral code, yes. I'm born and raised knowing Him as our savior. We were sculpted and created the way how God looks like, and it's because we are bound to be like Him.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
- Yes, because the evidence that belief is reasonable can never be so convincing that it compels one to believe. At this point, we chose to accept revelation for reasons other than the evidences we've read from the bible or heard from the mass.

1. What 5 things of a religious belief has shaped your moral code?
1. Believes in the concept of karma.
2. Always be thankful to God for the blessings that you receive.
3. Prayer is the raising of one's mind and heart to God or the requesting of good things from God.
4. Ask God for forgiveness of your sins.
5. Seeking God's guidance through prayer and devotion.
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
It depends on the person, because some of us believes in the existence of God and some, were not. The argument whether God do exist is still a thing today. and being born as a catholic and somehow shaped my morals, also believing that God exist.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
Morality and religion involve the relationship between religious views and morals. Many religions have value frameworks regarding personal behavior meant to guide adherents in determining between right and wrong. in my opinion morality does not necessarily depend upon religion. For example: when we were born, we don’t know what is right and wrong It's only after we grows up and comes to terms with society then we realize that certain things are termed as 'immoral' and others as 'moral'.

1. What 5 things of a religious belief have shaped your moral code?
- The following are my five major religious beliefs from my young age up until today that shaped my moral code:
a. God's existence
b. Ten commandments
c. The Incarnation, Death and Resurrection
d. Power of prayer that came up to miracles
e. Existence of heaven and hell
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
- Yes, knowing God at our young age since then already shaped my moral code. Yet, arguing his existence still made my beliefs into confusion about the missing information to strongly support both scientific and biblical evidence. However, I, myself already had God to believed in which was referenced my existence and the beginning of all. My existence is enough to shape my moral code about God.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
- For me it is still a topical issue for person to be moral without a religious belief but it’s not necessary for person to have religious belief to be moral because we’ve been moral beings before we were religious. My point is that, both sides (believer or not) could have moral code but in different reference of their beliefs as long as it consist the requirements of being moral. There isn't any necessary connection between religion and morality because morality is a lot older than religion as it is in human nature.

The five religious beliefs that shape my moral code are;
a. Karma
b. There is a higher power who create the world and life
c. The after life
d. The ten commandments
e. The existence of the soul
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
Yes, because moral codes are heavily dependent upon culture and religion. Being said, God is always present at this two because he is omnipotent and we believe that we must follow his commandment to be a good person and fulfill our life, therefore making him a strong argument or platform to have moral code
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
A moral code is a set of rules or guidelines that a person or group of people follow in order to live a life that is good, meaning we can have moral code without religion or based on religion. We can use our own perspective, judgement, knowledge, and experience or other people as a factor or to set a guide creating our own moral code. For example, I have moral code like do not drink, do not smoke, do not do drugs, keep yourself safe, and do not take dumb risks. I created this moral code not because to please my religion or God, but to stay safe and healthy.

1.) What 5 things of a religious belief has shaped your moral code?
• One of the five things that shaped my moral code is the sacrifice that Jesus to save the us, and to make us realize that there is a God who is always by our side.
• The thought that God created the things around us, that thought alone makes us think how great our God is.
• Teachings that say that God is always with us.
• The blessings that always comes in our lives is one of the clear manifestations that God will always provide to the needy.
• A never ending mercy of God who always forgive, an accepting God who will accept no matter what sin we did.
2.) Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
In my opinion, yes, it is a strong argument for me to have a moral code. Because I grew up in a religious family, I learn from my family who God is and how he saved us by his son Jesus Christ. Having that thought that God so love the world that he gave us his only son for us to have a future, to make us realize that it is still not the end for us that God will always give us hope, that he will always there for us. That thought alone makes it a strong argument to have a moral code.
3.) Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
In my perspective, yes, a person can have moral code without religious belief, but it depends on the environment, who are the parent who raised the child, and the people who he interacts with. Because I have a friend who has no religious belief but has a strong moral code.

- The ten commandments
- If you do good things to others and contribute positively in the world you will go to heaven.
- God is always listening.
- “Nasa Dyos ang awa. Nasa tao ang gawa.”
- Always do your best and good deeds even if no one is watching because he is.
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
-Yes, because as a Filipino born in a Catholic family, I grew up knowing God is our savior and the bible is a strong reference to prove it all. These personal experiences serving God shaped my moral value as a person because I believe that God truly exist.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
-Even a person who doesn’t have a religious belief can have a moral code because we have free will. A moral code is a rule or guidelines of a person (or group) that they follow to live their life in a good way they want. A moral code can be influenced by culture but I think it is mostly influenced by our personal experiences and cannot be defined by our religious belief.

2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
Yes of course, otherwise it would have been meaningless without God. Imagine this, God created you which means you have to obey God and do according to his commandments. Without him you would've even be here in the first place.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
It depends on the person, I say depends because one: he could be good or evil, two: he can just do whatever he thinks.
Human is fragile, they can be easily influenced on other things when they don't have any moral codes. So for you to have a strong foundation of moral code you need God. Its to only way to repay him for he created you upon this world.

The five things that shape my moral code are:
1. The ten Commandments
2. The power of prayer
3. God see every action we do
4. The Existence of God
5. All the blessing you share will turn it back to you
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
Yes, for me, God has an absolute ability in the sense that God can do anything that he wants. I act like a normal person but has a morality, and we all know that Philippines is a religious country which I adopt those belief of Christianity. If the morality is a creation of God’s will, at that moment God will do whatever moral values he wants. The content of the Bible show us God’s character so for me that is the perfect way to do all the things that I know is good and bad.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
Yes, because everything in this world has a rules and regulation and people has their own perspective in life. We can use our own perspective and knowledge to act normally like we have a morality. Above all, people can take or leave religious morality according to some internal moral compasses they already have or the belief that they continuously do every single day. They might even choose which church to go to based on how well the teachings of that churches or religion match with what they think or feel is right or wrong on their own perspective in life.

B. To love and respect our Parents

D. The existence of heaven and hell.
E. We are all sinners and we should always pray to have our forgiveness
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code?
- It really depends to be honest, but if we are talking about moral codes is yes. we all know that moral code was built from a culture or religions, we are Christians, so meaning God is a strong argument for a moral code. Philippines has a huge population of christians, and we all know that we follow those moral codes and if we don't we feel like we are sinners and we should pray for forgiveness. but what i've said earlier, is it depends on the situation. we should not use bible verses anytime, some people have different religions and some are those people who dont believe in existent of God. we are Christians but we should not practice ourselves being a hypocrite. because sometimes those who are inside the church or those people who attend mass every sunday are the one who are much worse.
2. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code?
- Yes, I do believe they still have a moral code. like what i have said a while ago there are people who dont believe in existent of God, and yet they still live like a normal being just like us. not all people who believe in God and follow his moral codes are good and not all people who dont believe in God are evil. because sometimes, people who are really devoted to God are the ones who secretly do bad things. Remember the Medieval period, when Roman scares people so they can convert into Christianity and if you dont follow the church is you must die in a brutal ways. Remember that bible said is learn to forgive, but why do these people inside the church are the one who leads these kinds of evil doings. they even blame women as a witch if they are good in science and medicines, and burn them alive because this is a work of Satan and we should just pray to God to relieve our sickness etc. so in my humble opinion is yes. people can still have moral code with or without a religious belief.

- God existence
- The Bible revealed the word of God
- Their's another life after death
- The Divine Judgment
- Ten Commandments
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
- I think yes, because we grew up where our parents taught us good manners. Like I grew up in a relatively religious family where when we were little if when we did bad or bad things, we were always told that God was always watching over us. So it means that the center to be a good person when we were grow up, the center of morality there, was God.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
- I think yes, because moral codes is not just about having a religious beliefs to have a righteous behavior. Yes we grew up in a religious country, but as times goes by, if we have the knowledge on what is good and bad, sometimes we don't consider the good deeds as a religious behavior or manner, we act depends of what we know and what we have experienced. Since we're living with a world with science in this generation, some religious belief can't explain everything about science and vice versa. Science sometimes gives us the righteous behavior and rules to have a good health and expand more of our life and this rules set by science is far different from religious beliefs.

1. What 5 things of a religious belief has shape your moral code?
-The concept of morality in Christianity including the ten commandment
that indicates right and wrong (Christian)
-Bad souls are sent to hell (Christian)
-"Matthew 7:12 In everything, do unto others what you would have them
do to you. For this sums up the law and the prophets." (Christian)
-Karma (Buddhism/Hinduism)
-Acceptance is the key to happiness (Buddhism)
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
-Yes, the purpose of God is the concept of having a code, technically
God represents the guidance in life, likewise with religion makes living
good. God is a symbolism of different perspective, others might think
that God is the one to be fear "takot sa Diyos" in Filipino term, which
fear drives people to do goodness in life just to avoid the feeling of fear.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
- I believe that anyone has a moral code even without religion, because
morality is innate to us people, having a conscience is a fact that we
have our own natural judgment without any religious belief. Although
having an innate morality does not mean that every people meet ends,
each people has their own levels of morality, but having a religion makes
each morality equal which means it meet ends. Religious belief
increases the our morality, because religion teach people how to be
good in life.

4. The Word of God
5. Ten Commandments
-These five things will help me shape my moral code, when it comes to decision making I always think of one of those things whether it is good or not, whether it might hurt others or not.
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code?. Explain
Yes, because we know that religion is one of the strongest influences in human life. We can shape our morality correctly if we are afraid of him, you can think if you are wrong in what you are doing or not. In other words, when we make a decision, our conscience happens when we know what we are doing is wrong or we have already done it. that is why I can say that god is one of the powerful platforms in shaping our moral code. And lastly, maybe because not all of us believes to god.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain
Yes, Some will claim that their morality is derived from faith, and others will claim that their moral code is derived from what they have learned from someone or from their parents. It is up to them whether they will, for example, obey the religion or not.

1. What 5 things of a religious belief has shape your moral code?
a. the ten commandments.
b. the golden rule; “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
c. Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
d. follow God's will and you will never get lost.
e. faith is trusting God even when you do not understand his plan.
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
I think when it comes to moral code. Yes, it is. Christianity or either religion has a huge factor in how a person can be developed regardless of what other influences they have. And when we say moral code it is consistent set of rules prescribing righteous behavior which our religions provided us. And as a Christian, I grew up having faith in God even though I did not see him physically, but my faith is strong enough to understand moral and natural law. And I think I do not see any problem with religion as a foundation of moral code because God’s lessons provide life lessons that can guide everyone to encourage equity, peace, righteousness, faithfulness, and love that should be the center of humanity. After all, it still depends on how a person can see the world and the existence of God, but still, we could not expunge the fact that the lesson of religion has the most influential and strong platform that can shape someone’s moral code.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
I do not think that it is enough to say a person who does not have religious beliefs does not have a moral code at all. I think they still have, because again, religious belief is just a set of standards, that at the end of the day a person has a free will to decide whether they will follow or they won’t. Moreover, there is a lot of lessons that our surrounding can teach us about natural law, love , and respect that can benefit the humanity that not only religion can. After all, it depends on the person’s belief and perceptions regardless of what factor influences them, because religion is not just the source of moral code, and not all standards are meant to be followed at all.

b. Confess our sin and ask for forgiveness to Him.

d. Help those in need.
e. The power of prayer
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
Yes, based on Irenaean theodicy, even though human beings were created in the ‘image of God’, we still needed to grow into the perfect ‘likeness of God.’ Irenaeus said that God gave humans free will so that they could choose between good and evil, and therefore have a genuine opportunity to do the wrong thing. The existence of evil is necessary, as only by choosing to do the right thing could people achieve moral perfection.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
At some point yes, people who claims not to know God or doesn’t believe in the existence of God that might not holds a religious belief can still have a moral code. According to The Westminster Dictionary of Christian Ethics, religion and morality "are to be defined differently and have no definitional connections with each other. And based on what I have watched about the two people who is a believer and a non-believer of God, the non-believer stated that she doesn’t care or it doesn’t really matters to her what someone’s believe in as long he is a good person and treats people right. So yes, even though some doesn’t have a religious belief or have a less belief, they can still have a moral code or can deal with morality outside of religious traditions.

1. God's ten commandment
2. Believe in one God
3. The Bible
4. Prayer

2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
For me, it always depends on how strongly a person believes in god.
I was born and raised believing in a god because that's what I see around me, especially to my family on how faithful they are in God. At a young age seeing their faith in God, really shaped my moral code. A moral code is a set of rules or guidelines that a person follows in order to live a good life. Now, is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code, well I don't know, maybe both yes and no?
Yes, because the moral code is can be influenced by our culture and beliefs and it can often dictate how we act and/or how we treat others. especially when we grow up believing in it.
No, because I do believe we can have a moral code by our knowledge, and what we've experienced in our life (maybe). We need to learn to know what is right and wrong without anyone dictating or telling us.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
Yes, it’s not necessarily to the person to have religion to have a moral code. as I said above we can have our moral code by using our own knowledge and experiences.

Yes, person without a religious religious belief have a moral code. Example is "atheist" a person who does not believe in existence of god or any gods. They are based on society, their own beliefs or their culture. Atheism is not a belief system nor is it a religion. Fact that atheism is not a religion.

For me yes, because if you have a strong belief and faith in God he will guide you. We all know that God will give us trials in life to learn and to be a stronger person.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
Yes, because having moral code depends on the person if he/she will do a bad or a good deeds. Just because he/she doesn't have a faith in God it doesn't mean he/she can't do good deeds to others.

1. The first belief that shaped my moral code is that we are all equal in the eyes of God, second is that we should never do to others what we dont want them to do to us, third, we must never judge someone's past/present situation because we have our own different imperfections and battles, fourth is that we must consider the feelings of others before saying or doing something to them, and lastly, battles are sign of growth and blessing coming its way towards you so how we respond to it dictates the outcome(growth or a delayed growth).
2. For me, its a yes because i think bible, which is written by God through His people, is the basis of most laws and rules existing in this world.

2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
For me, Its a Yes because knowing God and knowing how great He is and despite of being an imperfect and sinful person God loves us uncondutionally. As a person who always experienced God's greatness in my life and how He always makes a way for me i grew up having fear on doing bad things because i know that there's a God that's watching me.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
Yes, because even not having any religious belief a person can still have a moral code because we people had this feeling of guilt when we did something bad and i also know some people who doesn't claim that there's a God but still they do good things.

1. What 5 things of a religious belief has shape your moral code?
-Believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
-God, the one Supreme Being, is made up of three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
-Repentance of sins is essential.
-The Ten Commandments
-The day of judgement and salvation of the faithful.
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
-It depends, because some of people think their morality comes from religion and some people don't believe in the existence of God. I know the majority of religion is Christianity, and they often tell us that your morality comes from it or from your parents version about their religious beliefs. But still some of them find it hard to accept a particular content in the bible. Since bible is complex, with many beliefs, pieces of advice and moral implications. Indeed, every different person, take some things from it and leave others. Basically, people take or leave religious morality according to some internal moral compass they already have.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
-In my perspective, yes, a person without a religious beliefs can have a moral code. Because, they set their moral codes from their own free will, experiences, knowledge, perspective, or other people's influence. They believe more on a concrete evidences that can be seen and can undergo in the test of naturalism. Religious doesn't really determine one's morality.

1. What 5 things of a religious belief has shape your moral code?
My faith to God
God’s salvation
God will always provide
God’s promise of paradise
Forgiveness
These are the 5 things that has shaped my moral code. This is what keeps me going, specially in my hard times because He gives me strength and comfort. He’s always the reason why I want to help other people, why I always choose to forgive, and be good even if I fail, I just continue to try my best and ask for His forgiveness.
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
For me, yes. There are other things that can be our basis of moral code but I believe all of them are all the gift of God. Family, friends, your heart or other things that can influence our moral code, they all came from God. That’s what makes it strong. Our basis of good or bad, right and wrong, they all first came from God. Other people just filter out the things they only want to believe in. They make what’s good or what’s bad based on the standards they set. But if we put God at the center of our lives, we’ll have less worries. If we let Him take control of our lives, we’ll start to see life in a different way. His plans are not to harm us but to give us hope and a future, so just have faith in Him.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
Yes, there are people I know that doesn’t believe in God but has a moral code. I think having a moral code doesn’t always have to rely in religion but it is a strong platform to have one. That is just what I believe in. There are other things that we can use to have moral code, the people’s basis of what is right and wrong can be one. Feelings also plays a big part in having a moral code, it helps us make judgements based on our emotions or on how we feel about certain things. It could also be the influence of other people around them, such as their parents or their friends.

1. What 5 things of a religious belief has shape your moral code?
Here are the 5 religious belief that has shape my moral code:
- love your neighbor as yourself ( Matthew 22:34-40)
- The Ten Commandments ( Exodus 20:1-26)
- Do not envy other’s possessions. ( James 3:16)
- The Golden rule: Do to others what you would have them do unto you. (Matthew 7:12)
- We live every day, we only die once. (1Peter 2:11-12, James 4:13-17).
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
I surmise, the problem is if there is no God, what is the basis that remains for good or bad, right or wrong? If God does not exist, moral values do not exist either. We have no means of knowing whether something is really up or down without any kind of objective reference point. God’s nature paves the reference point for moral values. It is the basis against which all actions, decisions, and behaviors are measured. But without God, there is no reference point. All that we have left is one person’s point of view, which is no more valid than anyone else’s. So in a world without God, As what Richard Dawkins says, there can be no evil and no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference. If God does not exist, we then perceive human actions in the same way. No actions should be considered morally right or wrong.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
From my perspective, not all religious people are good and not all good people are religious. Even if some of us have no religious belief, we must have a basic understanding of what is the right way to treat others. We must think about things from other points of view to do the right thing for the right reason and that is human empathy and common sense.

1. Ten Commandments
2. Life and Death
3. Miracles shown to those who are made Saints
4. Heaven and Hell
5. The power of prayer
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
Yes, as Roman Catholic and a server of the Lord, we have been following moral rules as God himself created them for example the Ten Commandments. We believe in God himself and he created the world and the universe. Also, ever since I was a child I was shaped to learn my moral code through the Church and teachings from schools as I also came from religious school. I also believe that God can be a strong platform because of what's written in the bible and since when I was a kid I believed that the bible was a story book based on what really happened on the past when Jesus was still alive. Also becoming a Catholic we believe on what is right or wrong based on the teachings of God and being Catholic has been affecting our moral code and actions as well.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
Yes, because even if a person doesn't have a religion we still would have our moral consciousness. Also as said that a moral code is a set of rules or guidelines that a person or people follow in order to live life that is good which is that people without religion or religious belief can live normally as long as they are living their life for the good. Although this still depends on the person on how he/she lived and believed in his/her life. This depends if they were thought to do good or on what they see from the adults near them thinking that when they were a child and if that is a good thing to do between others.

1. What 5 things of a religious belief has shape your moral code?
Personally speaking, I believe that what's shaped my moral is mainly the word of God. Going to church and learning about the word of the Lord really contributes to what I am today. Also, during my younger years, I was engaged into different religious organizations like small/cell group.
I am also now serving in a Catholic Church as I was chosen to be a scholar of the Church. The different people in the church and their wisdom impacts my beliefs which sets my moral code today.
I also believe in what the Bible says and I set this as an example in every same situation I am into. Lastly, the religious occasions and culture also contribute to my present moral code.
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
Yes, because it is very evident that the idea of the Lord ever since in the history of human existence affects the moral knowledge and moral code of every person. Actually, this can be considered as the foundation of our moral code because it sets standards in our ideas, knowledge, and actions which primarily says what's right and wrong.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
Yes, I believe that any person can have a moral code even they do not have any religious beliefs because there are other things and aspect which may set a person's moral code such as their local culture, local law, and upbringing which affects their own mind to set their own standard of moral and immoral things/actions.

2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
Yes, God has always been the foundation of our morality. He is known for many names throughout human history and his' teachings through the Bible has been the standard of our morality. It pave way to humanity to coexist with one another and through him we learned to know what is right and what is wrong. We became more self-aware of our surroundings, decisions and bear the consequences of our actions limiting to us to whatever we want but in a good and righteous way.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
Yes, we as a human beings have the knowledge and freedom to choose. Therefore, we have the choice whether to believe God and his' teaching or not because as we grow up with/without the knowledge of God exist we are already exposed between the difference of right and wrong; through our environment, the place we grew up and the people we encounter already gave us the wisdom to know what is good and evil.

- The Ten Commandments
- Whatever is hurtful to you, do not do to any other person.
- Good and Bad Karma
- Only God can judge you.
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
- It all depends if they are using God as a role model or basis of what they shall do to other people that needs help and guidance. If they can change even a single life in a good way by using the words of God, then I am absolutely agreed that God is a strong argument to have moral code. However, if they are just using God just so they can fool others to follow what they believed is right without even a factual proof, then I am against it.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
- Yes, moral code is not something that you can only attain through religion or attending masses every Sundays. Moral Code is subjective. We all have our own opinion about what is good and what is bad and there is nothing wrong with that. And so my point is Moral code is the set rules and guidance that you chose to follow regardless whether you got it from your religion, your parents, or even from a stranger.

1. What 5 things of a religious belief has shape your moral code?
-BELIEVES IN JESUS CHRIST AS THE SON OF GOD. GOD MADE HIM LORD AND SAVIOR. HE IS THE ONLY MEDIATOR OF MAN TO GOD. JESUS CHRIST IS HOLY AND A VERY SPECIAL MAN BUT NOT GOD. (MATT. 3:17; ACTS 2:36; 5:31; I TIM. 2:5; JOHN 10:36; 8:40; ACTS 2:22, EASY-TO-READ VERSION).
-THE SALVATION OF MANKIND. IT IS FOR THE CHURCH THAT CHRIST GAVE HIS LIFE AND THUS, IT IS THIS CHURCH THAT HE WILL SAVE ON JUDGMENT DAY. (MATT. 16:18; ACTS 20:28; LAMSA TRANSLATION; EPH. 5:23, 25)
- OBSERVES THE BIBLICAL WAY OF BAPTISM, WHICH IS IMMERSION IN WATER. RECEIVING BAPTISM IN THE CHURCH OF CHRIST IS NECESSARY FOR ONE TO BECOME A DISCIPLE OF CHRIST, TO BE FORGIVEN OF SIN, AND TO HAVE HOPE FOR SALVATION (ACTS 8:38; JOHN 3:23; ROM. 6:3-5; MATT. 28:19; ACTS 2:38; MARK 16:15-16)
- THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST IS THE MAIN PROOF THAT THE DEAD WILL RISE. THOSE IN CHRIST WILL RISE FIRST TO BE WITH HIM FOREVER IN THE HOLY CITY. THOSE WHO ARE NOT OF CHRIST WILL RISE A THOUSAND YEARS AFTER THE FIRST RESURRECTION TO BE CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE. (I COR. 15:12-13; I THESS. 4:16-17; REV. 20:5-10; 21:1-4)
- BELIEVES THAT GOD APPOINTED A DAY WHEN HE WILL JUDGE ALL PEOPLE THROUGH CHRIST. THIS IS THE DAY OF THE SECOND ADVENT OF CHRIST, WHICH IS ALSO THE END OF THE WORLD. (ACTS 17:31; JUDE 1:14-15; II PET. 3:7, 10)
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
- For me, yes, God is a strong argument to have a moral code because our belief start in the bible (it is the god sayings that we need to practice in our everyday life) where it have a great impact and as the foundation of our moral beliefs where our moral code start.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
For me, Yes, because we have different belief in our lives and creating our own moral codes depends on what is their belief and philosophy that they gathered in different perspective of themselves. Moral code explain what is our own moral that we used to practice when our times goes by, with or without god, the existance of moral codes can have by anyone because of the experience, practices and opinion that we made to do in our everyday life.

5. Always end your prayer with thy will be done
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code?
- Yes. In fact, I believe that moral codes comes from our culture: religions. Being a Catholic is having God as a base of our strong set of moral codes. Technically, the teachings about God represent as our guidance in life; whereas following those leads us to good life
3. Can a person without religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
In my opinion, yes, a person without a religious belief can have a moral code. Regardless, to his/her religion a person can decide what to believe and adapt through their journey in life. Religious belief or believing in God as a Supreme being is not the same as having moral codes. They are different in some ways. We have our own judgement, knowing that we have the feeling of conscience everytime we act badly. For example, a person do not believe that God exist yet he/she has a strong moral code that hurting someone is bad as a human being. Religious beliefs does increase our moral codes as a person, but moral codes does not change the fact about our beliefs in our religion.

Yes, By studying "What can the Bible teach us" from the Jehovah's Witness. The Book change my perspective in life by reading a bible for me to benefit from the gift of God that will strengthen my faith to know and follow the commandments and to fulfill my purpose in life.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
It depends on the person because if you act according to reason to make choices, you are partaking in Natural law because every being has a purpose to follow but if you act without God's command it doesn't mean that you choose is wrong it depends on your conscience since we can determine the right and wrong. God's commands are there to help us see what is right and wrong.

b. The concept of reincarnation
c. The Ten Commandments
d. Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri (Inferno, Purgatorio and Paradiso)
e. The Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
2. Is God is a strong argument or plateform to have a moral code?
God’s existence and faith in Him can never be up for debate by mortal, finite, mankind. This is explained thoroughly in the Holy Scriptures where He tells who He is, what His love has done for us in Jesus Christ, and how His people come by faith and trust in Him through God the Holy Spirit. The HOLY SPIRIT prepares the heart and faculties giving rise to the predisposition and the full acquisition of actual intellect and faith in Jesus Christ through the Gospel, the “good news” of sins forgiven. When a man is converted another reason is born, which is faith defined as a right thinking of the heart about God. Faith is in the intellect.
Faith is not a “resting of the heart in the sufficiency of the evidence” or that faith is the end product of a logical or rational process. Faith is a gift of God. Faith is not something to which we attain. It is something freely given. It is something done to us rather than something done by us . The existence of God and faith in His son, Jesus Christ, does not need proof. God, through the Holy Spirit, provides His own proof in the heart and soul of the individual where there is never a doubt of who put it there.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code?
No. this is nonsense. The difference is, when an atheist acts morally good, you can accept he’s a morally good person. When a theist acts morally good, there’s always the chance that he’s not really morally good, but just pretends to be one, in order not to be punished by God afterwards. Many Catholics would do whatever morals would tell them not to do, if they weren’t so afraid to go to Hell for it.
Make no mistake, I am not saying that being an atheist automatically makes you a morally good person. But, make no mistake: Adolf Hitler was a religious person. Charles Manson was a religious person. Those who organized the crusades surely were. Whether you have good morals does not depend on whether or not you believe in a(ny) religion. It depends on the person.
But in the other hand, we can say that a person is moral without his religious beliefs for the reason that he is aware of the concept of right and wrong.

DISCLAIMER!
Everything you read and understand in my statements are all my own, meaning that I can be wrong or I can be right, it all depends on how you look at your own belief and how strong your belief is, for me this is a very sensitive topic and should not be taken so lightly so I want to give you a heads up. Thank you
1. What 5 things of a religious belief has shape your moral code?
Most of the things I will be citing here came from the bible;
a.) Philippians 4:13 , I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
b.) 1 Thessalonians 5:18 , In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.
c.) Matthew 6:14 , For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
d.) Good things comes to those who wait.
e.) Everything happens for a reason.
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
-In all honesty I don't think that God should be used as an argument or platform to have a moral code, base on my understanding moral code is something that is within you shaped in your own belief, not all people believe in the existence of God nor the image of a supreme being, take example the moral code of a serial killer, can you say that the moral code of that person came from an argument or conversation he/she had about God? Believing that his/her higher calling or purpose in life is to kill? I don't think in all instances God can be used to form a moral code in a person. God can be a guide towards enlightenment but God cannot be used to shape your moral code, because not all believe in His existence. I am not saying that God is not enough to change someone, we are talking about a person who has no moral codes at all, a vulnerable one who doesn't know what is right and what is wrong, what if by using the word of God without proper and prior understanding of the message would lead to the exact opposite that God was preventing that person from heading unto? The most practical without any hidden meaning that needs a wide understanding to use as a medium or platform for having a moral code is the way of the world, how to world works, how it is today and how it should be tomorrow, then we can use God's word to enlighten us to be a better person.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
- I personally agree that a person can have a moral code without religious belief, as I said earlier moral code should be formed from the way of the world or how does the world works, to keep this relatively short with less redundancy, a religious belief is for enlightenment of what you know about wrong and right, not to shape what you think what is wrong or what is right, let the way of the world or your life experiences tell you what is right and what is wrong, add a little bit of belief for enlightenment.

2) No. Atheists have their own moral codes too despite disbelief to a god or supreme being. But values from their past religion might contribute to their moral code.
3) Yes. One can form their own moral code without the influence of religious or cultural beliefs. Examples are from famous philosophers, existing laws and regulations, and simply an understanding one's own and others need for safety and security.

During the early age here in the philippines, we more likely to believe in naturalism, superstitious beliefs, enchanted creatures and Goddess of the bodies of nature that shapes the earth until we have been colonised by spaniards and that became the start pf changing our religious belief not because we want to but we are forced to do so,
• What are the 5 things of religious beliefs has shaped your moral code?

- act of abortion and having sex while not committed to the word of god is a merciless sins that is unforgivable
-golden rule
- obey the words of the religion that you are following even if it’s not really from the word of god
• God is a strong argument or platform to have moral code? Explain
- this question is a very crucial to answer, and for me yes it is because God is the most look up to even though not everyone has seen him personally but since he’s considered as the most influential being and gave his own begotten son as a form of way to make us believe him. Majority of the people in the world believes in the word of god and only 1% or less are not into god and it may be intriguing to those people who believed god if someone contradicts their statements.
• can someone without a religious beliefs have a moral code? Explain
- yes everybody can, moral code does not really pertain to god only, it is a general aspect of a person to believe even within himself only for the majority, moral code is a set of rules the you make yourself belief, for example is live healthy, do not smoke, do not drink alcohol, do not overdue yourself, those are considered moral code excluding the existence of god

1. Do things without causing harm to anyone.
2. Goodwill results to blessings while bad deeds result to punishment.
3. The concept of heaven and hell.
4. The concept of a supreme being watching me.
5. The existence of God.
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
Yes, the concept of a supreme being watching over us along with the gauging of every bit of our actions allow us to remain in-tact with our moral code. Religion has also introduced us to different concepts that allows us to have a clear distinction towards its definition of good and bad. Religion has also granted its believers a conditioning through concepts like heaven, hell, blessings, and punishments, allowing them to be fearful and mindful of their actions considering the said effects that underlies every action. Religion is not only a platform to our having of moral code, but also one of the factors of its being.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
Yes, moral code is not always anchored in religion. Different factors such as culture, social conditioning, personal beliefs, and others more aside from religion could also be causing an influence towards one’s moral code. As long as a person has a clear knowing of good and bad, then moral code could definitely sprout even without the presence of religion.

• Ten commandments
• God's existence
• prayers to God
• Having faith to God
• God’s love is unconditional
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code?. Explain
When it comes to moral code, I believe. Yes, that is right. Regardless of situation, Christianity or any other religion has a significant impact on how an individual develops. When we speak about a moral code, we're referring to a set of laws that our religions have provided everyone with. And Even though I did not see God, as a child of him or as a Christian, I grew up believing in him, and my faith is strong enough to understand spiritual and natural law.
Having faith in God allows me to enlighten my mind in all of the challenges in my life, Worshiping God is the core of a great bond with Him. Loving God is the same as loving others. God would be pleased if you love others and you understand how to respect others and form meaningful relationships with them.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain
I don't believe it is sufficient to assume that someone who does not have religious convictions has no moral code at all. I believe they still do, since religious belief is simply a collection of values that, at the end of the day, a person has the free will to follow or not follow. Furthermore, our surroundings can teach us a lot about natural law, compassion, and respect that can help humanity in ways that religion cannot. After all, regardless of what decisions influence a person's beliefs and opinions, faith is not only a source of moral code, and not all rules are intended to be observed at all.

1. What 5 things of a religious belief has shaped your moral code?
• God’s existence
• Concept of karma (Do not do unto others what you do not want to do unto you)
• Prioritize eternal things not temporal ones
• Forgive others
• Do the right things for the right reasons
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
For me, it depends on an individual because at the end of the day it is you to choose whom to influence your moral code. Because personally, I believe that it will always be a person’s choice on whom to influence their moral code. For some, it is a yes that God is a strong argument but for some, it is not.
But for me, in my own perspective I believe that God is a strong argument that shapes an individual’s morals because I’ve been taught by my parents that God is the one who gave me life so do I have to have faith in him. Also, having faith in him is also knowing what is good and right because when you do have faith in him you are scared to do unnecessary things or those things that are against the religious beliefs. For me, he is my guide on doing what is right and determining whether what is right and wrong.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
Of course, because just like what I’ve stated in my answer to question number two, it depends on an individual whether to let God be a strong argument when it comes to their morals. It is an individual’s choice of belief and how he/she was taught by his/her surrounding on whether to believe in God or not. I believe that God is a guide for us when it comes to moral code but this doesn’t mean that those who don’t have religious beliefs don’t have a moral code. Because at the end of the day, your moral still depends on an individual itself and not on his/her beliefs

2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
Yes, people who found their purpose, serving and having faith in God, are strong arguments to make a better life. Thinking that God can see your life, thoughts, and actions is an excellent reason to redirecting paths and making things right, avoiding sins. Because they fear God, and that fear is a reason to be firm in doing the right thing.

I think it would be a big impact if we use God as a platform to have a moral code since God is the one who made the ten commandments that we follow today, we follow and learn to differentiate what is right or wrong. it started with those rules and for that, it's a sin if we do not obey it. Having a basis from the one who made us can shape our moral code.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
Yes, I do believe that people still have a moral code without any religious belief because people have different perspectives in life and moral code does not only rely on religious beliefs. Yes, the thought of having a Supreme Being above made us cautious on our actions, thus helping us mold our set of moral conducts. Additionally, the teachings about God serves as guidance on how we should act accordingly. However, we should not solely based one’s level of moral behavior on whether he or she believes in God as religious talks has always gray areas.

- The 10 commandments.
- The Concept of Heaven and Hell.
- Judgment Day.
- Karma.
- Mind over matter.
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
- For me, it depends, because not everyone believes in a supernatural being. Moral code isn’t always about someone’s religious belief because how about other people who doesn’t believe in it. The reality is that, there are people who holds in these religious beliefs but often takes a sin and forgets to follow it.
- Personally, God is a strong platform for me because He shaped me on how to become “me” who have moral code that has a strong influence by Him that I hold onto this adventure on earth. The downside about the concept of religion is that when you were born on a particular place, your first and probably (for most) last religion will depend on what is your place was used to be belief, like when you were born in the Philippines, you will be having a bigger chance of becoming Christian than Islam, the opposite goes when you were born on the countries on Middle East. When you were born in India, your chance of becoming Hindu is higher than becoming Islam or Christian. When you were born on Thailand, Cambodia, or Myanmar, your chance of becoming Buddhist is higher than becoming Hindu or Islam. But at the end of the day, it just depends on a person on how he/she interact to the people bringing his/her moral code.
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
- Absolutely yes. Because moral code is defined by Pamela N. Markham Psyd., as “a set of rules or a code of conduct which governs how an individual should act within a community or group” (2013). So, if someone doesn’t have a religious belief, it isn’t really necessary that he or she doesn’t have a moral code. Simply following the Civil Rights Law is a moral code for someone, he/she won’t kill somebody not because he/she believes that if he kills somebody, he/she might come to hell, it’s because he/she doesn’t want to go to jail and be deprived of liberty.

We all know that everyone has different perception about religion. There are some people that don't really believe in God but as for my opinion God is everything. He has shaped me from what I am today and He's really a strong argument for me to have a moral code. My world revolves onto Him as He is our savior and Lord. His glorious journey here on earth is what I'm really following though there are times I made mistakes; the thing is as long as you know that you're wrong, regret it with all your heart and don't repeat your sins, God is really forgiving and merciful to those who heartily wants his mercy and forgiveness.
3. Can a person without religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
I believe it's a yes, moral code and religious belief is completely different in terms of relations. Morality involves relations between persons while religion primarily involves the relationship between human beings and a transcendent reality. As morality involve persons, knowing and doing what is right and what is wrong is something that can be learn through educating each other and learning through experience. So this explains that religious belief does not necessarily needed in order to have moral code but having my opinion I firmly believe that having religious beliefs gave greater impact in establishing moral codes.

1. What 5 things of a religious belief has shape your moral code?
- There is only one God (Isaiah 43:10; 44:6, 8; John 17:3; 1 Corinthians 8:5-6; Galatians 4:8-9).
- God is omniscient, meaning he "knows all things" (Acts 15:18; 1 John 3:20).
- God is omnipotent, meaning he is "all-powerful" (Psalm 115:3; Revelation 19:6).
- God is omnipresent, meaning he is "present everywhere" (Jeremiah 23:23, 24; Psalm 139).
-God is the creator of everything that exists (Genesis 1:1; Isaiah 44:24).
2. Is God a strong argument or platform to have a moral code? Explain.
We all aware there are many religions that are existing and not all of them believes in God. Thus, for me, Yes, God is a strong argument or platform to have a moral code. Each time we argue about good and bad, we appeal to a higher law that we accept everybody knows about, holds to, and isn't free to self-assertively change. Good and bad suggest a better quality or law, and law requires a lawgiver. Since the Ethical Law rises above mankind, this general law requires an all inclusive lawgiver. Therefore, the existence of god is the strong topic on the argument since we all know and we all agreed that all things we considered good and bad came from a legislator
3. Can a person without a religious belief have a moral code? Explain.
Yes, definitely, a person without a religious belief can have a moral code. This equation happens even for atheists, who often take up the mores of their culture, which happens to have been influenced heavily by religions they do not even ascribe to. So, it’s not that religion does not affect morality, it’s just that morality also impacts religion. Atheists do not score differently than religious people when given moral dilemmas. Clearly, we all have morality. Whether you’re religious or not, morality comes from the same place.
