II. ACTIVITY
1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
I think the reason is an act of the will because every will/action we did encompasses reasons either good or bad. In order for us to make an action or decision we always tend to think properly about what is right and wrong or maybe what must be considered and it will become your reason for doing it. So basically, any reason is an act of will because you chose to do the action and behind it is the reason why.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
A person becomes good reasonable individual, maybe when his actions are always in line to people or majority perception. Also, you could be a good reasonable individual when you act accordingly to what is right for everyone not only for yourself. You can be or it is easy to be reasonable but good reasonable is hard because you will think not only for yourself but for all people surrounds you.:

1. Reason can be considered as the act of the will. It is a knowing choice in which we provide what we believe to be the truth or somehow what we stand with in accordance to the knowledge and intellect we imply as we use our own free will in doing so. Reason is what moves us, makes us act humanely. It is something we master as a human, so we act it out willingly and portray it to others and the classification of whether it is a good reason or not lies down to its justification.
2. Not everyone is right for every reason they provide but there are ways which a person can become a good reasonable individual. It is in the use of their reason which they should give convictions into aside from the knowledge they ought to provide. As I can understand it, you are a good reasonable individual if you let both of your humane emotions and straightforward QED (Quod Erat Demonstradum) solutions and analysis based on intellect rule equally as you reason for something.

1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
We act because we have a basis or a reason why are we doing it, people act for a reason because doing something that does not mean anything means it is nothing. Thinking of people that act that as no reason is hard to believe because everyone has the capability to think even children and adults, a reason does not mean it is good it may be bad and also has conflict with other reason our will or our decision is affected by our reason. We base our action on our will and this gives us a reason to act and behave what others think that is right.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
People can be a good reasonable individual base on others act, we are thought to behave well in front of others and not cause troubles for them, we tell that this action is bad and this other is acceptable to people. We should think rationally about the situation that is happening and ask what is good for the perspective of the majority and what is bad and should be prevented when decision like this ever to happen again. A good judgment of an individual should base on the laws, good behavior and what is beneficial to the situation our actions. Our knowledge we gather and the wisdom we gained from discerning what right and wrong is a good reason for showing what is a good reasonable individual is.

1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain
I think reason is considered an act of will because people acts or behaves for a reason. Every action we take is guided by our reasons. These reasons directs our actions as long as the will is guided by these which means that the will is determined by reason in relevance with the actions performed. Thus, our behavior is a product of our own free will guided by our reasons wherein the reasons may be good or bad depending on the justification of the actions performed, our own perception and also the perspectives of the people around us.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
A person becomes a good reasonable individual if he or she decides and acts in accordance to what is right and just for both themselves and the people around them. Not every act we do is considered reasonable. We must think rationally before deciding. An individual is also considered to be a good reasonable person if he thinks and acts in relevance to what the situation is asking for, as long as it makes sure that it is beneficial not just to oneself but also to the common good.

1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
For me, a reason can be an act of will because in every action we make there’s a reason behind it. Also, reasoning can be sometimes the first thing we do before we correspond to the actions we are going to make whether it will have a good or bad outcome. In the words, the reasons that we have is an act of will because you decided to take any actions on the current situation, and in the end, you’ll come up with your reasons for why you did that actions.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
As we all know, sometimes all of us don’t have a good reason why we do such things. But mostly, you can be a good reasonable individual if you do the right thing. The right thing in which you did that thing it’s because of the welfare of others. Also, you can be a good reasonable individual in which many people believe that the thing you did was right.

1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
For me, I think reason is an act of will. We always do something for a reason. We choose to act according to our will, even if it is considerably good or not. Reasons are something that pushes us to do so. We performed an action based on the rational laws of reasons. Therefore, reason is an act of will, simply because, we won’t decide or do something without having further reasoning behind it.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
To be a good reasonable individual is not easy because we have to conform the laws and standards that were generally viewed by many as good or right. But if a person wanted to become a good reasonable individual, I think we need to be more aware and sensitive in our surrounding. One should be reasonable enough before deciding to do something. Because people have different perceptions of right and wrong, it would be better if we will consider things that will benefit for the common good.

We have reasons for doing or starting something. For me, the reason is an act of will. If you are making reasons, you actually know what you are doing; you mare making an excuse because it is your own choice. Reason is also considered as part of our decision. A reason is like a spark that ignites an act, and to perform an action. Once you make it, you clearly dictates that your will to do it is present.

1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
Yes. We act according to our will, and these actions are rooted from reasoning. We act in accordance with our reason, or there's a reason behind willful actions. When we say "will", the concept of voluntariness and decision making are always considered, and the in order to fulfill these voluntariness and decision making, we are making actions. Therefore this became a reason for us to act. Actions perform the will we have, as we also have the reasons behind that will.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
A person becomes a good reasonable individual after overcoming hardships in life, being reasonable requires empirical experiences, you cannot acquire good reasoning from nothing, but that person must learn the lessons in life out of that experiences. A good reasonable individual is who applied the knowledge acquired in life through his personal experiences in order to make himself survive, and fruitful decisions. A person who depends on practical experiences not just out of emotions or any temporary entity.

Yes, reason can be an act of will because will is guided by reason, where, as determined by reason, action is performed according to rational requirements, or laws of reason. On the other hand, will is important as one of the parts of the mind, along with reason and understanding. It is considered central to the field of ethics because of its role in enabling deliberate action. Further, where the will is guided by reason, it is free.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
A person will be good reasonable individual because of the problems he/she conquer in life in that way he/she became more stronger person, in that way he/she can apply it to an experiences to be a better reasonable individual. In law, the reasonable person isn't a mean person or a typical person but a composite of the community's judgment on how the standard community member should behave in situations which may pose a threat of harm to the general public. Albeit the bulk of individuals within the community may behave during a certain way, that doesn't establish the quality of conduct of the reasonable person. For example, a majority of individuals during a community may jay-walk, but jaywalking might still fall below the community's standards of safe conduct.

2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
Since a person may have different perceptions on what is good or bad, we actually know what is reasonably good for the majority of the people around us. In that case, people tend to become a good reasonable individual if we're trying to act things that is inclined with the goodness of the majority's perception on what is good. If I'm going to take out from the picture the Perceptions of others and be inclined on what they think is good, I think a person becomes a good reasonable individual if we actually acquired it or learned something out from a certain situation or not.

1. Reason is an act of will and is used to determine what makes logical Sense. It requires discernment and will to look at different angles. To look at different options and figure out what makes sense without emotion. Feelings or will on the other hand goes with your heart. Reason many times gets pushed aside when it comes to our feelings. This is why certain decisions are so difficult. Both these human behaviors many times contradict each other. Our mind tells us to use reason and pick the logical choice but our heart tells us to go with our feelings. Each person is different. Some people use logic more often and others use feelings more often to navigate through life. Each trait has its role in life. We must use reason to make the smartest choice but our feelings are something we cannot ignore. They are where our deepest emotions live and we sometimes must go with our heart.
2. I believe that a person can become a good reasonable individual when he is finding out what is right and what is wrong you should think about how you would feel if it was done to you and it pleases you or does it please someone else, is it something that must be done or had or is it something that you just think that you must do or have, is it a matter of greed or charity? is it a matter of lust or chastity? is it something that attacks your pride or your humility? is it something done of laziness or something that you must persevere at? is it something that you avoid or something that you address? is it something that makes you envious or helpful? or is it a sort of revenge you seek or would you rather forgive and forget? analyze your intentions and use your intuition to determine if it is right or if it is wrong.

1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
I think reason is an act of will since people acts for a reason. They are living their lives because it is their choice. People tend to make reasonings it is what they want to happen. For example, there's a popular saying which says "The determined have reasons, the reluctant have excuses". This means that if someone is willing to do something, he will find a way because it is what he wanted, it is his will. And if someone doesn't want to do something, he will make and will always have excuses to avoid acting against his will. It is evident here that the reasoning is influenced by the will of an individual.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
A good reasonable individual is characterized with an ordinary degree of reason, prudence, care, foresight, or intelligence whose conduct, conclusion, or expectation in relation to a particular circumstance or fact is used as an objective standard by which to measure or determine something (as the existence of negligence). To be someone that is a good reasonable person, a person MUST do good. We could say that someone is reasonable when he act accordingly to what is right for everyone not only for himself. Being reasonable is easy but to become good reasonable individual takes a lot of efforts and is hardly possible because you have to consider not only yourself but also the people that surrounds you.

1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
I think reason is really an act of will because being a moral agent is being fully aware of that every action we do has a consequence/s so tendency is that we will think first before we do an action. Having said this, people have a specific objective in doing something which is called reason wherein we based our actions to our reasons. Although it can be considered to be an act of will but for some certain reason such as people that are mentally ill which cannot be considered to be a moral agent, they cannot build a concrete reason for their actions hence reason cannot be considered to be an act of will for them in critical situations.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
We can be a good reasonable individual if the reasons of our actions are not only for ourselves but also for the good of everyone especially those who are in need. Because we are not just living here just for our own good but in order to have a harmonious society we should take a stand in everything for ourselves and for those who are in need. 1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
Reason is considered as an act of the will due to the fact that an action is made when there is a reason. The will is the ability of a person to select choices and it is guided and determined by reason —may be good or evil reason. Reason justifies the action that an individual may do. Every action has consequences, therefore a person who decides what to do is based from their perceived reasons. This goes to show that every reason must be carefully considered since the will is accompanied by it, as Mahatma Gandhi says, “Your beliefs become your thoughts, Your thoughts become your words, Your words become your actions, Your actions become your habits, Your habits become your values, Your values become your destiny.”
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
A person can be considered as a good reasonable individual whenever decisions are made not just for their benefits but also to the people that surrounds them. Influences from an external factor just like where they belong to is one of the reason how to become a good reasonable individual. Putting themselves into someone’s shoe is a good reason to be careful in selecting a decision in order to empathize and understand what others. Avoiding to choose decisions just because most of the people choose it but deciding based on what it is morally right and for the common good.

Yes. I believe that reason/reasoning is an act of the will because it is typical for a person to reason in different circumstances. Like what our parents or elders always tell us, “Diyan ka magaling, sa pangangatwiran mo.” It’s like already a part of our consciousness in order for us to defend ourselves to others. Furthermore, the will is not necessarily determined by reason but it is necessary to act that reason gives influence to it. The will could also be guided by reason whereas action is performed according to laws of reason.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
A person becomes a good reasonable individual by gaining and acquiring knowledge and experience that helps the way we think regarding things. We also need to consider the facts around us in reasoning because the truth is always the strongest argument according to Sophocles. Now let's talk about the factor that could affect our reasonable thinking which is our emotions. Having emotions is a normal thing for us, humans but we should also consider the situation we are in before making a decision or judgment. Just like what Sherlock Holmes said in the Enola Holmes movie, "You're being emotional. It's understandable but unnecessary."

- Yes, for me reason is an act of will. An act of will is a knowing choice. It is basically an exercise of free will based on knowledge. Everyone has their own reasons for choosing a choice. Our will to decide or choose something is affected by our own reasons that lead to that choice.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?

For me, an act of will is somewhat determined by a reason in most cases. However, they are usually associated by each other. There's an action of will if there's a reason because we have what we call the notion of duty in which it shows distinction of wants and ought. Wants for a person's like or desire while Ought for a person's responsibility or the things that really needs to do. So personally, an act of will is caused by a reason

The act of will is not necessarily determined by reason but it has decisive influence on it as long as an individual, capable of rationality, applies reason to her will. However, not all individuals can be a moral agent or capable of making rational decisions so there will always be times where the act of will is not determined by reason.
2. How can a person become a good reasonable individual?
Personally, I think, to be able to become a good reasonable individual, an individual should start with understanding himself and his core. It is about becoming more in tune with his deeper self, so he will be able to recognize what riles him up, what makes him happy or sad. How he will deal with his emotions? How he will react when life goes astray? When he understands himself fully, only then can he control his emotions and become reasonable and responsible.

Reason directs action by “determination of the will” as long as the will is guided by reason.

Will is the manifestation of an individual's ability to decide for themselves as well as the initiator of each action. With this we can say that reason is an act of will, for behind every action is thought and justification. This shows that an individual is capable of thinking and understanding as well as form reasonable judgement which is usually spurned on by an individual's reason for doing such action.
2. How can a person become a good reasonable individual?
A person can be a good reasonable individual when each decision that has to be accomplished undergoes a deep and deliberate thinking. Reason is an act of the will. The knowledge gives the reason for the will to be in favor of something as the will, on the other hand, directs the knowledge to reason according to its end. And since our will is naturally inclined to the good, we reason out based on what our will favors. We can't necessarily reason out of nowhere. It is our will to believe on something. We decide ourselves where to side on a certain arguments. We practice our free will by reasoning according to what we think is right.

Reason is our explanation for an action we do. And the will is the desire of people or intention. For me, the reason is an act of will. We do everything for a reason, even the things we do is either good or bad. We do what we want, but we always think about the reason why we do that kind of action. So reasoning is important while doing an action because we use this to further explain our side.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
It is hard to be a good reasonable individual because everything we do, we need to be one with the surrounding or in society. 1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
Yes, in most situations. Reason entails identifying crucial aspects of a situation and justifying them as part of how we make our decisions. Therefore, reason in that sense is an act of will since the concept of will is an intrinsic element of personhood and is the basis for our reasoning ability. Will refers to the "any internally motivated action" or an internal drive brought about by several factors such as our desires and ideals in life. When we explain our actions, we state our reasons for doing so which in turn come from our personal choices brought about our will.
However, there are cases when an individual cannot be considered a moral agent. In this sense, that person cannot think rationally enough to make decisions that align with his/her morality. These acts are, therefore, a product of external constraints and not by the person's own will.
2. How can a person become a good reasonable individual?
For a person to be considered "a good reasonable individual", he/she must be able to assess all the facets of a certain situation and measure them based on the basis or standard of morality. This means aligning and harmonizing one's self with the principles and dictates of what is "right".
From my perspective, one of the main ways to be good and reasonable is to be mindful and careful of what we say and how we act towards other people. Also, the person must be able to empathize with the situation of others. The person must not be clouded by personal biases and judgments that can favor his/her decision on a person to a certain person and not to everyone involved in this reasoning process.

Reason is an act of will. Reason affects the will of a person that keeps them from doing what they want to achieve. They both support one another, will being the action and reason to influence it. It came from the strong desire of what a person believes in that affects his/her choices to make.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
A person can become a good reasonable individual if they know the meaning of what is good and right. Being reasonable means that you are fair, you consider other factors which led to being the right thing to do. You also need to think critically to know if what you are doing or you would do would be sensible or if it fits well with the situation because it could be useless if you become reasonable at the wrong place. Reason is the explanation why did we do certain things while the will is one's wish and desire to happen in the future. And with that, I can conclude that a reason is an act of will and will is nothing but an act of reason. In other words, reason affects the will of someone thus I can say that will is guided by the reason of a person.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
It is given that it is hard to become a good reasonable individual. It is due to the fact that it is hard to do the right thing sometimes, and what is right and what is wrong is somehow a broad topic since what is right and wrong varies from culture to culture and place to place.
But all in all, to be reasonable, it requires great understanding and analyzation skills in order to know what is the right thing to do. Critical thinking is required in order to do so.

- I believe that reason is an act of our will. Our reason whenever we make decisions either good or bad is something like a driven force to our will, this reason serve as a fuel for our will. Will to do things, will to make decisions, etc. It is like a pattern, First is our reason then it will be a fuel to our will and then it will result into a certain action. We all know that “will”, together with reason and understanding, plays a major role in our mind that’s why we can assume that they will always be there whenever we make decisions. (This is mostly applicable for those people who is considered as moral agent)
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
- Whenever a person consider what course of action will he take for the betterment of all people, and not just by himself. Whenever a person weigh decision and take consideration for those who are affected, if that particular person’s reason for doing such action has a valid reason and can be accepted by most of the people since not all can be pleased. A good reasonable individual is someone who is dedicated to become the better version of himself so that he could help a much wider range of people, and lastly, being a good reasonable individual must always do what is right for all people and it is not easy as we think since there's a lot of temptation in every decisions we make.

I agree that reason is an act of the will because we performed specific action based on our reasons, which shows that will is guided by reason, and it was the ‘will’ that lay behind human action. 2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
The world is constantly changing. Everyone is faced with a lot of adversities in life. George Bernard Shaw once said that "The reasonable man adapts himself in the world; the unreasonable one persists to adapt the world to himself." Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man. As we face many different circumstances being reasonable is essential. To be reasonable also means thinking critically and being skeptical about everything. To be considered as a reasonable person, an individual should approach every situation with cautiousness and sensibility. Lastly, a reasonable man is someone who is prudent and shows care that exceeds the ordinary standard.
In this generation being reasonable should be taken into practice. By being reasonable we are also able to establish our credibility. In addition to that, the world will surely be a better place to live in because a world of the reasonable individual is a world where fairness prevails.

Maybe you think that his/her reasons Is good or bad, try to analyze first what he/she do before that reasons made and observe his/her actions so that you’ll find out the answer on his/her reason to you. Like now in this generation we all know and observe that some people when make reasons is hard to believe because there’s no proof that there saying is really true or not, some of them is good in persuade people so that their reasoning becomes true. But as an individual I make good reasonable when I don’t Stomping of one’s being character when I know that reason is truly true and not making an excuses and my intentions is not making bad for you or the others. Yes, because base on my opinion reason can be an act of will because will is guided by reason, where as determined by reason, action is performed according to rational requirements, or laws of reason. On the other hand, will is important as one of the parts of the mind, along with reason and understanding. It is considered central to the field of ethics because of its role in enabling deliberate action. Further, where the will is guided by reason, it is free.

For me, reason is an act of will because every action you take whether it is right or wrong, it always has enough reason why you did it, It’s not just will. We have our free will to decide either it is good or bad. For example, forgiveness is not an emotion, it is an act of the will. If you want to forgive a mistake of a person, then you have reason to forgive him/her and that is the example of act of will. Sometimes good people make bad choices. But, it doesn’t mean they are bad people. It means they’re human.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
One of the best example on how to becomes a good reasonable person. Is having a good sense and judgment. For example a reasonable decision is rational and thought out, like your parents reasonable rule of that you don’t have to speak when your mouth is full. Another example, when you describe a store’s prices as reasonable, you mean they’re fair and not too high. This kind of behavior or reaction and judgment of an individual who approaches any situation with the appropriate amount of caution and then sensibly action. This example, remind us how to decide on what is the right decision.

2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
In my opinion, a person can become a good reasonable individual if they have good moral character. Good moral character is the ideal state of a person’s beliefs and values that is considered most beneficial to society. Having a good moral character includes being honest, trustworthy, and has respect for others. In other words, a good moral character means that you’re a good person and a good citizen with a good moral scale. 2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
Answer:
1. Yes, because why would you do something without having any reason at all? Wether you choose to do the right thing or the wrong things, you always have a particular reason to do so. But it's not always like that, because sometimes the will is not necessarily determined by reason, however. Yet insofar as the will is determined by reason, it is necessarily moved to act, that is, to the extent that reason has decisive influence on it, or as long as an agent, capable of rationality, applies reason to her will.
2. For me, in order to become a good reasonable individual you must know how to handle your emotions in all aspects of your life. Because emotions are constantly affecting our thought process and decisions while always leaning you toward feeling pleasure. On top of that, they’re really sneaky. We may think that we’re doing something because it’s good for the nation, when in fact we’re simply executing it to soothe our ego, i.e. feel good. Also, we should be mindful of our capacity for errors and understand that we have a fundamental tendency to act according to our initial emotions no matter how smart we think we are.

- I think reason is an act of the will simply because reason makes the mind to think and form judgements by the process of logic. The reason justifies the act by means of consciously making sense of things. Behind every act, there is a reason why we tend to react that way. Reason is our basis of all action we make considering what is right and wrong.

I've always believe that the "right thing" is a subjective thing, that is because we have different views about it as well as there's these "fog of war" in every situation. So for me, to be aa good, reasonable individual, it's just a matter of adapting the norms of the society, be good to others and such. In short, play their game.

In this world, one of the many factors is always in the approach to a situation that will determine your actions as good or evil. One's rash actions towards an issue doesn't necessarily mean they're evil or good.
But the world has its standards, and the "good" people are always branded as those who follow the rules, and those who speak with courtesy, and those who follow the grown-ups. And the society will never see the perspective of the rule-breakers, and the different ones, and those who're unique on their own, but that doesn't mean that they're evil. A person can only be evil when they've lost all the life inside of them.
So, to answer the question, I don't think there's a real standard to weigh a person's goodness or evilness as it should never be boasted out loud.

1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
- I think yes, since people do things or make decision base on their reason. So reason is an act of the will because reasons drives the person to make decision in every situation and take action and it is our will or desire to do this things or the decision we make.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
- A person become a good reasonable individual if he/she can justify her action or decisions and take responsibility to his/her decisions or actions but it will always depends on the culture or society he/she resides in whether he/she will be considered as a good reasonable individual since being socially accepted appropriate is base on the standard of the community or the society.

1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
Reason does define will, infact will stand because of reason, so yes reason is an act of will. To explain further, Will is reflection of choice, and choice is always a product of reason, whether why and how you do a particular choice in a certain event.
2. How can a person become a good reasonable individual.
Being good and reasonable is two different thing, first being good, is when you act according to a will of being kind, while being reasonable if you can be accountable on every action you make so technically being good reasonable people should act in a will of kindness without stepping others and be accountable to his/her action

1. Is reason an act of will?
Yes. Because in every actions there are reasons behind. These reasons drive us into taking actions or decisions along with the will to produce an outcome that reflects our morality.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
A person becomes a good reasonable individual when he/she started putting his ideas into actions and bearing a righteous outcome for himself/herself or for some people.

1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
- Reason is a force of mind which understands something or a certain event, and form judgement based on what is appropriate to that certain situation. Therefore, reason is an act of will because the person understand what he/she is doing and there must be a cause why he/she is doing that specific act. In addition, there is always a reason why a person have to do a specific thing.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
- In my perspective, rationalizing our thoughts when doing something or some acts, balancing our actions whether it will have a good or worse effects, and considering all sides and different point of views will make a person good reasonable individual. It is must for an individual to have a rational mind when
when doing something and when we have to decide on something. In addition, individual should also balanced his/her acts, whether if it will have a good effect or just worsen the situation. It is also a must for an individual to have an empathy and considerations for other point of views for us to be aware whether our actions
may hurt our peers or other individual.

1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
Yes. Human acts have three constituents: Knowledge, Freewill, and Voluntariness. An act with the absence of these three is not Human acts, but Acts of Human. Therefore, human acts is of free will, and when Human Acts are performed, we humans have reasons. For every act that we do, there is a reason.
2. How can a person become a good reasonable individual?
A person is a good reasonable individual if the reasoning of the person is for the good of the majority or is the in proper way of scrutinizing possible outcomes. A good reasonable individual does not mean doing the good thing, but is looking for answers on questions applicable for the current situation to produce the best decision at that moment.

1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
I believe in the opposite, will is an act driven by reason. Why do i think this? I believe that we think through what we do before we do it. In this sense what we will, is something that we ought to act upon. We can't just go do something without thinking it through, how we see it if it is right or wrong. This is why I believe that will is an act of reason.
2. How can a person become a good reasonable individual?
I believe the answer to be very simple. A person is a good reasonable individual if he is discerning. Wisdom is very important to being a good reasonable individual. We ought to do what is right, what is good, and what is in line with our morals, and what is just. If we know how to balance our kindness and being just, and learn to discern between situations, we are one step closer to being a good and reasonable individual

1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
Yes. Reason is an act of the will because people always know on what they are doing and good will can only result from the proper use of reason. We must eliminate our own desires and needs from the decision and make it in everyone's best interests.
2. How can a person become a good reasonable individual?
For me, we should be a good listener to others and really hearing them out with an open mind because it shows the speaker that you value their opinion. Another thing is that we should accept responsibility. We should stop blaming others when things don't go right. Learn to accept personal responsibility for our actions.

1. Is reason an act of will? Explain.
- Yes. To be able to act on decisions, we need to have a reason. And to be able to execute an action, we need to have the will to do it. Without a reason, there will be no will to carry out an action.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
- A person can become a good reasonable individual when he or she thinks carefully before making a decision. We are faced with dilemmas everyday, and making rushed decisions and actions may sometimes bring harm upon us or other people. So to be a reasonable individual, one must think of the pros and cons of an action/decision before acting upon it.

1.) Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
For me it`s yes, because base on definition it itself does not refer to any particular desire, but rather to the mechanism responsible for choosing from among one's desires and when someone`s will chooses a desire and you will have a reason to do an action.
2.) How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
For me I think that person becomes good reasonable individual when there`s a rational thinking and undergoes deliberation. Because when someone have a rational thinking it means that he/she always have a reason on his/her action and that means the question is answered already.

1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
Reason is an act of the will because one can be motivated to do carry out their will if they are given a reason to do so. And it is in that will of a person to carry out an action based on the reason is a conscious human act. If a person desires something, they will find whatever they can do with whatever power and will they have to create a reason to fulfill their wills and desires.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
It all comes down to perspective and judgement. We have a saying where "The end does not justify the means", which means that your actions, how horrible and unethical they may be, will never be justified even if the reason and the outcome of your actions were for the greater good. In some philosophies, there are some that contradicts this saying. Some philosophies believe that if the outcome is favorable, then the action is deemed as good.
But it all boils down on the perspective, principles, and own morality of a person whether he becomes a "good reasonable individual" or not. For example if a person killed someone out of defense, they ultimately did something that is seen wrong, but since their own life was threatened, for others, it will seem as if the victim did the "reasonable" thing in order to survive. Was it ethically right for him to kill another in order to survive? It all depends on perspective again. But to most, people would agree that the victim did the right thing.

1. Is reason an act of the will ? Explain.
In my point of view, the will of a human being is free and it cannot be controlled by others. By the use of our reasoning we can fully control of our own will because of our reasoning. Therefore reason can be an act of the will.
2. How can a person become a good reasonable individual?
A person can become a good and a reasonable individual. if they themselves has a good outlook on life and they don't have a bad and wrong sense of justice. First is the influence that they get, surrounding the person with the wrong type of people at a very young age . Second is to adapt to the rules and laws of the society without adhering and adopting to the laws of the society the individual won't have a clear sense of justice.

1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
In my perspective yes because Reason is a ability of human to think, understand, and form judgments by a process of logic and that is an act of the will because we are the one responsible on how we respond on certain things or scenario. Addition to this is that we all people have our own opinion and similar to this is that we all people have a different reason why we like or hate certain things therefore this is an act of the will.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
A person becomes a reasonable individual if they're honest, critical thinker, and have morality because the act of being honest can justify that he is telling the truth and being a critical thinker is how he will explain and justify the whole scenario and last is having morality to determine on how you will act concerned with the principles of right and wrong behaviour and the goodness or badness of human character.

1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
-In my opinion reason isn’t an act of the will but an act of the will can be of reason. We all have our own will which is solely base on how we perceive things. Our will is driven by how much wee want to do something and by how motivated we are to acquire that goal that we set. We can act out of reason, but we can also commit an act of the will without considering reason or logic.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
-A person becomes a good reasonable individual by means of experiences in life, may it be failure, success, or problems faced. Whether we win or lose in life, we learn from every step we make in it. A good reasonable individual not just only speaks but also listens.

II. ACTIVITY
1. Is reason an act of the will? Explain.
Yes, because everything we do has a reason. We do not do things for no reason, even if there is a chance that it will lead to wrong action. Based on my experience, there are people who hurt me that at first I did not see why they did that and the only reason for that was to protect me. Everything that happens has a reason.
2. How can a person becomes a good reasonable individual?
I think when they do not let the person get hurt. He is not only concerned with himself but always for the good of others. In every action you should think carefully about what possibilities will happen so that it does not lead to harm to other people. Watch your actions and be responsible for what may happen.
