Introduction to Ethics
I. Introduction
Ethics is the science of morality. Morality deals with principles of right and wrong. In inference, ethics becomes the science of the principles of right and wrong.
Some of the challenges of this discipline carry the problem of agreement and expectations.
Can people agree on what is right and wrong for all people? Can people live a morally good life based on expectations of other people? These are challenging questions on the study of ethics.
The value of morality defines how a person's worth based on the goodness of his acts.
II. Class Activity
In this activity, write your name, course and date. Discuss your points on view in understanding ethics and the value of its study.

Ethics is something we should learn and understand. As you discussed, ethics is a science of morality and morality deals with right and wrong so therefore we must understand its purpose for our good. We live in such a cruel world where you can be judge just because you did the right thing. Naturally, you will eventually do the opposite thing you did just for them to stop judging you, but imagine if you can’t differentiate what is right and what is wrong in that situation? Of course, you won’t mind them because you know you did the right thing. For me, that’s the point why we need to understand ethics so you will be able to stand for yourself and you will have a chance to do what is right because acting ethically takes a lot of courage and doing things right is taking proper steps in order to achieve your objectives in life.

Ethics is knowing what is right and what is wrong. For me, base on what I read and base on what I understood. We should always know that everyday in our lives, we know we are doing. So we need to know that we don't have to seek expectation to other people. In fact we should have our own perception. Why? If we apply perception in our life we could live a life that we know what is right and what is wrong. Because that's your quality and character.
Ethics is something that either we understand or not. Knowing that it has 10,00 branch that disagreed with each other, meaning there's a lot more into it. The video also presented the historical meaning of ethics, which is that ethos is connected with the character that has to do with an approach most effectively and impressively. Ethics is also considered as morals but there are disagreements among scholars, whereas morality is something to do with spirituality. While ethics is materialist and social consequences. However, they are all fall down that ethics is a philosophy of morals, yet according to the video presentation, we cannot assume that ethics and morals are the same. For example, if you're in another country, the norms and beliefs there is different from what you have. This illustrates that being ethical is not just following the law and/or rules but rather a capability to contemplate and give proper judgments that are in line with the current circumstances. A standard of right and wrong that requires people to commit with, especially when in terms of the following: human rights, obligations, fairness, and virtues. It is a way that hinders us from hurting one another. I like the line that the presenter said, "it is knowing that before one can do the right thing, one has to figure out what's the right thing is." Demonstrating that being in an ethical way, we must have to do credible and relevant research facts that can help us to live peacefully with a touch of justice and fairness. Thank you!

ReplyDelete"Ethics is the science of morality", Ethics is the discipline dealing with what is good and bad and with moral duty and obligation . There are some people who can't use their morality right . Like what you have explained that sometimes you have caught cheating and never ever do it again. In that scenario you have two choices , one is what you did and the other one is to not to be caught again . That behavior was so unique because there are a lot of people who always cheat for the sake of getting good grades or just to be passed . After our discussion I just think that it is good to be honest than making others proud of you while in yourself you feel that you just nonsense cause you don’t have the potential that they saw on you. Ethics is choosing the right thing over wrong. You should the thought that “Am I doing the right thing or I’m just making the right decision” . Because all people have conscience that the inner sense of what is right or wrong in one's conduct or motives, impelling one toward right action.
Very good ideas Mr. Garino.

ReplyDeleteEthics is the overall moral principle of an existing society and the individuals on that given society. Ethics define how they perceive what is right or wrong thus affects the growth of their morality. Ethics usally are derived from religions, cultures and beliefs instilled on one's way of reasoning. Different groups displays different ethics, it is imperical to be aware that one's own ethical perception of what is right or wrong does not apply to the overall population, which means, in a certain way, there is no absolute right or wrong as different people demonstrates different point of view related to the matter. Studying ethics would enable individuals to understand that the world is consisted of different ethical behavior and practices and does not only sit on a single belief. It may be considered that ethics is a need to be study, since as a person who values and has his/her own ethical view of the world, must be aware of the values and reasoning he is used to. In some way, it seems that, ethics is escapable, it is a part of our eveeyday lives, so studying it would mean, stability on our lives, since it would also mean studying your own personal beliefs, practices and other moral related aspects. Studying ethics would somewhat give us the ability to question our own and other values so that we may distinguish what is wrong and right based on our perception and other's perspective.

Ethics is the driving force of a person to choose what is morally correct or not. Just like morals, ethic is like the map while we drive inside a car and that map would lead us correctly to the right place on where we wanted to go. The road might be long or short and it might be filled with hindrances such as traffic that would make it longer but as long as we follow through that path we won't get lost.
Studying Ethics is also important because it could help a person more in judging what is morally right and wrong. Today we experience so many misconceptions about different people that we end up hurting them because we lack information on about basic ethics. Studying ethics may help a person be enlightened on what they are doing is morally wrong since they are causing distress and problems to a person because of their opinions based on what they only feel and not thinking about the betterment of other people.
Nice line - "The road might be long or short and it might be filled with hindrances such as traffic that would make it longer but as long as we follow through that path we won't get lost."

Ethics refers to moral conclusions based on rules, standards, code of ethics and models that help guide decisions. Morals are judgments, standards and rules of good conduct in the society. Values are professed statements of one’s beliefs, ethics is delivering on one’s professed values and morals are actions of good conduct as judged by the society that enhance the welfare of human beings.

As we all know Ethics is connected to a moral pronciple that affect a persons behavior The main reason why we need to study ethics is that ethics is inescapable. To imagine a society in which there are not codes of conduct, ways of assessing what is desirable or good and undesirable or bad is just pure disaster. Even if such codes are thought of as mere means of survival, there will still be implicit commitments to what is good or bad: food and water (in proportion) is good for persons, lacking of either can lead to damage to the solution. if one soes not want to study ethics, there are possibility that you will have no opportunity to carefully reflect on the values that shape your life, you wont be able to think about whether the values in your society are wise or foolish or even expand your awareness of the values of other persons. It also provide others with reasons for your actions and give you the means of questioning the values of others.

ETHICS IS A SET OF VALUE OF AN INDIVIDUAL THAT GUIDE THEM ON DOING THINGS. IT TELLS US IF THE THING WE HAVE DONE IS RIGHT OR WRONG. ETHICS ARE NOT CONSTANT BECAUSE IT WILL CHANGE DEPENDE ON THE EXPERIENCE OF A PERSON. ETHICS IS NEEDED IN OUR LIFE. IT DECIDE HOW WE ACT IN OUR LIFE. WITHOUT ETHICS OUR ACTION ARE AIMLESS. IT ALSO LEAD US LIVE IN A IDEAL LIFE WE THINK. IT IS ESSENTIAL TO THE LIFE OF AN INDIVIDUAL. STUDYING ETHICS IS BOTH EASY AND HARD. For me, ethics refers to the principle of the ethical behavior in modern society in the level of an individuals, society, and its environment. Ethics is a requirement for human life because it satisfies the basic human needs. improves decision making, and helps us to develop our moral character. By simply knowing ethics, we are also learning moralities in which we are applying the sense of integrity because of the concept right and wrong. Ethics aims to establish which practices and actions are best to do or what way is best to live. It is form through the operation of forces in the person's environment such as family influences, peer influences, experiences, religion, and others. In conclusion, ethics is a study of the behavior of man as moral being which able distinguish between right and wrong or what's good or bad.

Ethics is the system of morality which deals with the right and wrong. Ethics is not something we must have as professionals, but as a human being. As an individual, living in this society, we must have these moral principles that will build our personality or image in front of others. We must know how to tell the good and the bad, and identify which is right and wrong. There is judgment in our surroundings in everything we do so we must do things in ethical way depending on the situation we are in. The importance of understanding the value of ethics is that we must know how to do things in ethical way. Ethics is part of our life and there is no argument on that. It is an essential part of the foundation of a society in which we belong. By living in an ethical way, we may build a society with beneficial relationships.

"Do what is right, not what is easy," said by Roy T. Bennett, the author of Light in the Heart. Ethics has connection with the quoted saying above, for my point of understanding, for ethics is the science of morality and morality deals with right and wrong according to the meaning presented in the blog. It is also concern with what is good for someone and for our society setting aside our own interests, and is important to really understand the meaning and value of it. Although ethics will make you choose from what you think is right and what the society wants you to do that is right because at the end who has the basis that their suggesting is right while yours is unacceptable and vice versa? It will just give us a clear basis of what you should do with a situation like this and have a set of ethical rules and principles (human rights, laws, virtues and etc) that can guide us to choose the best choice and answer to give. In conclusion, ethics will give us the right to choose what is right and wrong but having to consider the external factors that affects the situation not just our own perspective but the ethical rules and principles guiding us.

Ethics is defined as knowing the right and wrong, or the good and bad. It can be both easy and hard, can be easy for us to know what is the right thing to do and at the same time it can be easy or hard for us to make decisions and do it. For me, studying ethics itself don’t make us an ethical person. It is not something we acquire by just studying it, we must also apply it in our lives. By studying ethics, it can help us think through moral questions, and clarify our stand when we make judgments. Lastly, improves our mind to think logically and our perspective to handle issues and dilemmas

Ethics is a very broad topic. Even we know that it is the principle of right and wrong, we can’t say that it is the same to the other people. Because what we see as a right and wrong can be the opposite of the other people. It is like, the culture in our country is not the same when we go abroad. It is the same as the norms in our society is different to the other society. To answer the question “can people agree on what is the right and wrong for all people?”. The answer is no, it is hard to change any person’s perspective, if it is what they see from the very start. We can’t push people to do what we want because they know what they want even though it is not in our expectation to them.

Ethics is a broad topic, it includes morality, norms, behavior culture, etc. Understanding ethics is very essential for us human beings. It is said that only us human have moral codes therefore we must understand it. There are many definitions of ethics but in simpe terms it is just the understanding what is right and wrong. Understanding ethics is also the understanding of our culture, our society and ourselves. Ethics is a guideline for people in order for our society to be at peace and in order. Guideline that helps us how to behave toward each other and to understand the obligations of the society. It will also help us in our everyday life. Moral codes are usually shaped by social norms, religion and cultural practices. Studying ethics is important not just for students but for everyone. It allows us to understand the moral behavior of individuals and it teaches us the proper judgment, the standards of what is right and wrong and the good conduct that we must do in our society. All of us must study and know ethics because it reflects the beliefs about what is right, what is wrong, what is just, what is unjust, what is good, and what is bad in terms of human behavior.

There's really no right way of living or the life free of mistakes or wrong doings. But if you're living based on what others expect from you, you're definitely not living. You are not yourself anymore once you follow other people's ideas on living your life. Ethics is there for us to give a better understanding, a better look on the bigger picture that we often miss. In ethics, we practice ourselves on weighing things, not just based on what we've been taught and learned but also based on a lot of things. As we grow, we learn to consider factors that may affect every single decision in our lives. That is one of the essence of living, change. Now change is what makes life, life. Change is what makes living, living. Life with no change is just accumulation of experience. If you look deeper to that statement, you can understand how ethics play a vital role in humans, in human development. I believe that human only moves forward, only improve, only get better. Human never moves backward, he may be considered a "fallen one" because of something bad he did but I think it's not the opposite of progress. It is still progress, he just chose a non-righteous path (I used non-righteous" and not "bad" because I believe right and wrong is subjective, no one of us can REALLY determine them). That is where ethics come into action. We choose our path based on our ethics. We act because we want something come into fruition, that is the nature of human. Ethics just guide us how to get to that desired result. The importance of ethics on the other hand is very critical. It is important because it can give us projection on how things and people would act when subjected to certain circumstances. It may not be accurate, yes but, it is right for most subjects. It is also important because it leads us to the one common goal for all the human beings created, to strive to be perfect. That is atleast in my opinion, that is why we're told nobody's perfect.

ReplyDeleteFor me, ethics is a system of principles that helps us tell right from wrong, or good from evil. Ethics can help us lead a more fulfilling life whether personally or professionally. People expect us to do what is right and good, and if we meet their expectation, it'll be an advantage to us. But how about the otherwise? It'll keep us far from them for being different and bold. Knowing and following ethical practices sure is nice, however, commitment to act in accordance with ethical principles is often challenged because of pressures to do the otherwise. For example is peer pressure. If your peers wants you to do something that seems right to them but is wrong in the eyes of your society, your ethical perspective will be challenged. It is important to understand ethics to help us evaluate which is right and the right conduct. We cannot possibly always choose the right because sometimes, right can be wrong too. It may be right because of the norms but you know deep inside that something is wrong.

Ethics serves as a guide to our daily basis and make our judgement to be right. It deals with the way people should act. As a person, we always strive to make right decisions in all circumstances. For me, one of the purpose of living ethically is for happiness. When we choose to make right choices and has a good relationship with others and our environment, we decide on a pathway to achieve a moral life, hence, a happy life. Studying ethics is essential because it stables the functioning of society. It is about upholding order and stability. Without ethics, there would be chaos all around because most people would do whatever they wish to benefit themselves.

Ethics is what makes us who we are, and what we believe in. How we are raised also affects what makes us, us. Though not all principles that we believe now came from our earliest days, some of it are thrown in our way as we grow older. How we were taught about the rights, and wrongs when we were little, are like the foundation of how we view some things now, and what we consider as morally right and wrong, or even what is morally good and bad. As we grow older, we learn that there are some things that we acquire from the people that we met that affects greatly us how we start to view things. These added traits that we acquired as we grow older, help to shape us into the person that we'll become as time goes by. Ethics gives us the baseline of understanding the concept of what is right and wrong, helps us distinguish moral values from other values, and it gives people the sense of validation to moral decisions which guarantees us that even if it might affect other people, it is not purely based on the factors that are subjective. It is why I think the value of its study is significant, it is also what help us to remain stable in a world that keeps on changing.

“Anak ng Pasig naman kayo; Tapon doon, tapon dito; 'Di n'yo alam ang tinatapon n'yo; Ay bukas ko at ng buong mundo” this is a verse excerpted from Anak ng Pasig song by Geneva Cruz that tells us to stop littering especially in bodies of water like Pasig river as mentioned in the song. Waste management is everyone’s responsibility because it involves and affects all of us. This situation is an example of ethics as Mr. Lucena defined, “Ethics is the science of the principles of right and wrong.” And he also mentioned in the lecture that people are expected to do the right thing but we need to learn first how to determine what is right and what is wrong. We should know the difference between the two to be able for us to make judgements and decisions in life that could affect us and the people around us. I believe that we are learning this here in this subject. In the given circumstance from the song, the right thing to do is to put your trash in the right trash bin or if it is too small and you’re too far from the trash bin, you could just put it inside your pocket then after a while, if you happen to see a trash can, you could finally put it there. Just always remember, do not throw your trash on your surroundings. Waste management is a must to avoid water pollution that could kill all the living things and it includes us, humans. If someone doesn’t understand the meaning and value of ethics, what would happen in our world? It could have been a very disastrous scenario as “A man without ethics is a wild beast loosed upon this world.” –Albert Camus.

Ethics and morals are both used in the plural and are often regarded as synonyms, but there is some distinction in how they are used.
Morals often describes one's particular values concerning what is right and what is wrong:
While ethics can refer broadly to moral principles, one often sees it applied to questions of correct behavior within a relatively narrow area of activity
In addition, morals usually connotes an element of subjective preference, while ethics tends to suggest aspects of universal fairness and the question of whether or not an action is responsible.

ReplyDeleteEthics serves as guidance in our daily life from determining what is right or wrong, without ethics our actions would be aimless and random. It also helps us to correct and organize our actions and goals to accomplish our most important values. It is important to study Ethics because, without it our life will be clueless, and all of our actions will be meaningless because we can't determine what will be our goals why we did those actions. Based on the definition above it is the science of the principles of right and wrong, so basically we can't tell what really good and bad if it is not because of ethics. As a human it is really hard to determine what is right or wrong, because it is based on what is the norm and what the society set about it, but because of ethics we can get clues of what and how to deal with it.

Ethics branch of philosophy that deals with the moral principles governing what is right or wrong behavior. Socrates once said that "The unexamined life is not worth living." Understanding ethics means understanding how you proceed to act in an environment considering what you are doing whether it is right or wrong based on the environment. In accordance to what Socrates said, understanding ethics means understanding the worth of living considering the society and its norms that follows moral principles. Living ethically, means you are living your life based on moral principles which benefits the whole society based that shows equality. Being a human being that is capable of knowing what is right or wrong gives us the opportunity to set expectations to ourselves to live that is fully ethical yet, others are defying moral principles based on their own needs and mostly driven by greed. And because of this, is it right for people to expect other people to do the right thing? Therefore, the value of ethics tells us that the investigation of good way of thinking or morals can extend our appearance on a definitive inquiry of life. The investigation of morals causes an individual to see his own life basically and to assess his activities/decisions. It helps an individual in recognizing what he/she truly is and what is best for him/her and what he/she needs to do so as to accomplish it. Also, investigation of good way of thinking can assist us with considering ethical quality. Moral way of thinking can assist us with explaining our ethical positions when we make decisions. It improves out viewpoint, and makes it more intelligent and better idea out. With this, it can now widen our perspective on how we should judge actions based on moral principles. This helps us to understand more of what is truly right or wrong.

Ethics serves as a ruling that defines the good and bad of the people amongst people. It gives the idea of what is morally wrong and/or right within a certain group or society. A code that one must comply on behalf of what their moral principles are. However it is not absolute that your right is the right for everyone. Our values & beliefs are affected by the environment we lived in — the culture, religion, societal status, educational background, experience, and etc. In other words, our moral principles could come up from different contexts. Ethics allows us to further understand our principles. Gives new perspective on what we believe in. And made us think on moral reasons to justify our action being good or bad.
San Pedro, Reylouis D. (BSCE 2B)
Ethics is a branch of philosophy which rightness or wrongness of a human action. Ethics is concerned is with questions of how human persons ought to act in the search for a definition of right conduct and the good life. It tries to help us define the conditions of a good choice and then figure out which of our available options is the best one. So, it is really a must to be studied or somehow have insights by every people living in a society
Nevertheless, when trying to grasp what Ethics really is, some things arise. These leads us to also study things like values, principles, beliefs and norms. These are the things shapes our choices. And if we look up to those things, we realize that values, principles, belief and norms greatly vary in every part of the world. Keep in mind that these things don’t stay what they are forever. Everything is changing.
Consequently, it must be noted that there is no absolute definition of ethics because discipline is constantly evolving as a product of political and socio-cultural context. The least we can do is to describe the dynamics and nature of ethics based on certain time and context.

Ethics is a system of moral principles and concerned with what is good or bad on an individual. It leads us to perform well in conducting activity and do proper behavior upon making decision. Understanding ethics may not be as the same as others. Maybe one factor of it the different practices we perform in a community because we are raised in different culture and religion that has different practices. And because of this, it makes the understanding of ethics is different from one another. But for general, we should always choose to do good than bad because doing good may help us to be successful in life. We will not regret the things we do on the past because we chose to do right.

DeleteUnderstanding ethics is knowing the right and wrong. The value of its study is to make people think about the consequences of doing the wrong and how rewarding it is doing the right thing. Maybe we know about the ethics, about the right and wrong, but we all know that we don't do the right thing all the time. But that "right thing" might not be the right thing for other people. In your side that might be right but on other's side it is not. This must be the reason why there are norms, in order to have a single "right" thing to do. But some norms that are supposed to be right, isn't always right, sometimes it becomes a wrong thing, some norms are different than others. For example, when you go to a different place, their norms might not be the same as yours, your norms might be the bad thing in their norms.
ReplyDeleteAlso, knowing the right thing is not enough, you must spread it to other people, maybe by telling them about it or by being morally good to other people, there are a lot of ways to spread about the right thing, and that is the right thing to do.

Ethics is about right or wrong and goodness or badness of an action. It is a code of morals that a person or group of individuals practiced. It affects our decisioning and faces choices. Ethics can give real and practical guidance to our lives. And that is why it is essential to understand ethics. Knowing right from wrong is one of abilities to become an adult even though we experienced choices during our younger years but when we reach the point of adulthood, every action that we did needs to be understand. We are challenge to deal with options that have consequences, so studying ethics is important for us to be able to grow and develop ability in expressing our own values, behavior such as dealing with it. It needs to understand not just our self-ethics but also other people. We are a group of people that are diverse and need to unite to have peace and understanding, and that's why ethics creates a commonly accepted moral code that define boundaries of acceptable behavior. Ethics is not beneficial for only one person, it generates stable society. It serves as the foundation for civilized, in justice etc. Ethics won't make us fully ethical but it is useful for us to guide our decisions and actions.

"What should I do?"
This is the fundamental question that governs the challenges surrounding our understanding of ethics. Ethics is a broad concept that has been present since the conception of man yet is difficult to fully comprehend due to the complex nature of humans and the rules that govern our society. Ethics is a branch of philosophy, and philosophy is defined as the love for wisdom. With that said, ethics deals with how we think and act using knowledge, experience, understanding, common sense, and insights that we obtain throughout our entire life.
However, how we think and act is not the same with another person's thought process and behavior. Assuming there is no general rule or principle about our actions that is followed in society, our concept of right and wrong will always be questioned by other people in society.
This brings us to the reason why the concept of ethics is present in our society. It is the stable foundation of civilization. For me, ethics is what brings order to our society; it allows us to be in a living relationship with other humans and with nature. As social beings, we cannot fully escape from ethics. From our dress codes to the language we use, ethics is a part of our everyday life.
Individually speaking, ethics sharpens our general thinking process and our decision-making process. Understanding ethics trains our mind to think logically and rationally, and to weigh in many different options equally when making decisions. Also, it broadens our perspective about other people's personality, beliefs, morals, and ideals, therefore helping us resolve conflicts with a calm and open mindset. The bottomline is, ethics has shaped ourselves to who we are today and will continue to shape us to become better human beings.

Many might confuse between morality and ethics. Yes, it has got to do about doing what is right or wrong but the difference is that ehical judgments are objective and moral judgments are subjective. Ethical determination requires logic, foresight, and empathy. When it comes to ethics, it does not only about you. It is about how you co-exist and learn that people around you matter just as you. Ethics is important to the society because it keeps it intact together. Peace and order that helps other people to cooperate to each other. All of us have different backgrounds that makes our moralities differ, however, ethics makes us bond as human being. I believe that without much knowledge in being ethical will lead to isolation and disruption of community.

Ethics is a set of moral principles and values. Ethics serves as our guide to control proper behavior. It is the discipline that deals with what is right and what wrong.
As future civil engineers, we will be encountering many people such as workers and co-engineers. That means we will be dealing with different people with different cultures and different principles. With the help of ethics, we will understand how to deal with situations, and how to make right decisions.
Different people bears different opinion, that is how our society works. We can have what is good for all, but it is not the best for all. We have different sets of friends because people sometimes do not agree with each other such as politics, religion, and humanity.
Overall, studying Ethics will help us in the real world, how to deal with people with respect, and how make life decisions.

Ethics is a wise and sistematized study of morals. For us human beings, it is important to know what is right and wrong with accordance to what is good. We adapt behaviors to what group we belong to and use it to have a good relationship with other people especially to our love ones. Personally, ethics is being selfless in every situations wherein our decision is always in line for what is the common good. A well- mannered person reflects a well-mannered group. You are of what you are because of the group you belong to. "Tell me who are your friends, and I'll tell you who you are" is quite hurtful but we cannot break the fact of reality. In every situstions, we must act based on the ethical ways. Having ethics with your heart will give inspiration to others. Having ethics in the society will build a good relationships. Lastly, having ethics in the nation will build a whole new world.

There are some other concepts that we need to recognize before we could actually attempt to understand what is ethics. We should understand how things/actions are considered to be right or wrong to give us enlightenment to what morality is. This is how we will get introduced to ethics. Morality is the measurement of ones moral value. Humans are said to be attached to the concept of morality since we don't act on instincts like animals, thus we are always aware of our actions and its effects to other people. Ethics depends on how we understood morality. This is will govern our intention to behave based on our understanding of the moral code.
It is very necessary for us to understand this because this will reflect in how we deal with certain situations and with other people. The value of understanding ethics lies on our impact to the people surrounding us. It also plays a very crucial part in building our attitude and behavior, as well as the way consider things when making big decisions. Especially in this trying times, knowing what is ethical make big changes to people's reasoning and ways of taking actions.

Ethics as defined, the science of the principles of right and wrong. You are to choose between what's really right from the two but as human beings, we also have acquired values in this evolving society that may affect our decision because these values makes us choose what is important rather than what's right.
In my opinion, it gives us the sense to have significant morals that are important for a person and social values that may possibly affect both our surroundings and ourselves. Choosing what is right and what is important are often the same for some, but not every case is like that. They would be having dilemmas on which to choose because a part of their mind wants to follow established values they have within ever since and another what is morally correct in the given situation they are in.
Although ethics may let us question and evaluate our moral growth, it could also aid us in gaining more truths and knowledge, and assessing situations that can help us avoid errors and possibly ensuring ourselves and other of our social values which involves our rights, welfare of other people and responsibility in a society.
One should be able to consider not only avoiding poor choices but also consider of right decision-making. One would ask why people still tries to do good despite all the terrible things, injustices, misfortunes, no concrete evidence that their good actions will matter in the grand, maybe it’s because of empathy, or naivety or connections with people that pushes us to provide them respect, happiness and safety. Or maybe one would say it is one’s duty that makes us act ethically for the society’s prosperity.

Understanding ethics is important because it gives us bases on how we will react to a situation. Ethics concerns the rightness or wrongness of action and general matters of what is right and what is evil and how we will respond to it. By studying ethics, it can help us to evaluate what is more moral to act and improve our decision making because we know what is the proper judgment of what is right. In responding to a specific scenario, no matter how hard it is, we still need to do what is right and what is more moral.

Ethics will help a person to be critical, be morally right, be self-disciplined, and learn to assess their action and decisions in life. Studying ethics will not necessarily make a person ethical, but it will enable a person to know what is good and what is wrong. People have different preferences, so we cannot expect them to have the same standard on what is right and wrong. People have distinct culturally acceptable manners, it varies depending on their culture, belifs, and religion.

Ethics refer to specific rules and actions, or behaviors and along with this plain and simple definition it has a complex understanding and complicated applications. There's no one that is born ethical, for ethics is set of understanding and knowledge that is acquire progressively through life experiences and teachings. Conflicts arise every now and then but if we have the sense of understanding with the concept of ethics we will resolve the conflict in the most ethical way possible which there no feelings beliefs and laws being violated or offended. The value of studying ethics is it makes us a good thinker, makes us wiser not just for personal good but for the good of all. The concept of ethics does not suggest that the world is govern with the set of rules and laws but rather the world is govern by ethical individuals that think logically to be able to formulate decision and judgements that helps in the betterment of the society.

Ethics govern an individual's behavior. It plays a vital role the society as it guides decision and is present in all aspects may it be social, political, medical, etc. Most importantly, it gives us the comfort that we live in a society we can trust. For example, as we are trying to survive in this pandemic, we rely our trust to our frontliners and backliners as they literally are saving us. We believe in them because we trust their etiquette. We may not have a perfect society, but the ethical codes we have in our society greatly influence us. Ethics shape our judgments, personalities, morals and standards which in turn manifest in our actions.

It is said that ethics is a study and development of one's ethical standards. It is also a system of moral principles in which it indicates what is right and wrong. The thorough understanding of ethics is to be aware to what is happening around us it is the action of constantly examining one's or a society’s standards to ensure that they are reasonable and well-founded. Therefore, we must not associate ethics as the same with laws, religion, or feelings because not all the aforementioned can be ethically correct because they may deviate to what is considered to be right and an example of this is a laws such as the Black Code and Jim Crow laws in the US before in which those laws encourages racial segregation and unfair treatment of blacks, another example is the unethical practices in religion like self-flagellation, female genitalia mutilation and others. While feelings may obstruct us to do doing what is right. Ethics is beyond the confines of laws, religion, and feelings. Applying ethics is the continuous studying of our moral beliefs and our moral conduct and do one’s utmost to ensure that we, and the society that we help to develop, live up to the standards that are reasonable and solidly-based.

We always say that we should be ethical in any aspect: society, public life, profession, health, leadership even in technology we have what we call netiquette, but having said that ethics is the science of the principles of right and wrong but the main question is that, do we only have universal right and wrong? That’s why it gets complicated because out of 7.8 billion people in the world now, how sure are we that we are accepting a universal morality. In fact, morality is being affected also by adult and peer modelling, family and societal values, religious values and beliefs, and parenting practices, with that, due to ethics as a study of morality there are always conflict that leads to debate.
Bottom line of this is that ethics have been made on what we think that is morally right for the majority and can lead to success and peaceful life of everyone and it is a central component of any happy, healthy, and mature life. Imagine a society without ethics, no codes of conduct, identifying what is desirable or undesirable. Even if there are codes but as mere of survival there will still be implicit commitments to what are good and bad, study of ethics gave us opportunity to carefully reflect on the values that shape our lives and expand our awareness of the values of other persons and most important it that it leads is to develop skills in articulating our own values so that we can provide others with reasons of our actions and give us means of questioning the value of others.

Imagine a community wherein there’s no concept of ethics at all, a society in which there’s no code of conduct, people who were just following their instincts and does not have any idea of what is good and what is right, it looks pretty unstable right? That’s why studying ethics is vital to all people to assess their behavior and attitude towards other people, it will also help and guide us to live a life that is peaceful and righteous. If only people would appreciate the value of ethics, the world would become a better place to live in. However, it is quite impossible to happen since we all have different perspective, beliefs, culture, and norms. Understanding ethics is important for all of us who wants to know whether our action to a certain situation is morally accepted. It may be hard to understand it at first, but if we continually practice to do what is right always, we can achieve an ethical life.

Ethics is a system of moral principles given by a social system that determines what is right and what is wrong. It is generally consistent in similar settings and are usually the codes that people have to follow in different workplace or public area.
Not to mention, several professional organizations have created a set of ethical codes for their respective fields. The study of ethics is necessary in order to produce a stable and functioning professional. Ethical standards are present in different profession and having it would enable them to reach informed decisions and be able to exercise their skills and knowledge in a way that would not harm the society.
Ethics enables and guides people to do what is right and wrong and is used in reference to different codes and rules in society. As it govern what we must and must not do, it is only right that we put time to study it in order to guide and help individuals to preserve and develop their moral sense. Moreover, doing so would help people to produce a well-informed decision that would deviate from harm. It would assist people to do things that supports their well-being as well as the well-being of others

Ethics is the standard of doing what is right and identifying what is wrong to do in a society. It affects how the society would function and respond to situations involving morality. It sets as a guideline for the people living in a similar place with similar beliefs and culture making them believe in a certain standard to what is the right and wrong things. This would then be considered as an acceptable action because it followed what they believe in. Not following or opposing what the society believes in would result in judging the way the person acts just because it contrasts or did not follow what the society expects you to do or to what is the right thing to do. The difference of ethics to morality is that morals are what we, ourselves believe in while ethics is a standard formed by the society. Both justifies what must be done and not. The importance of ethics is to help guide the society to do what is right and what can be accepted.

Ethics is such a broad topic. I've read many meanings using different words, but there's only one thought. It is the study of what is morally right and wrong. Ethics is not that thing that you have since you were born. It is formulated through the operation of forces in the individual's environment. Family influence is one of the examples of it. When the individual is only a child, the ethics starts within his family, and that has a significant part in influencing the child's ethics. That's when he determines what's good and bad, and what's right and wrong.

Ethics has many meanings like studying human rightness or wrongness of action and finding nature of true happiness or good life. Ethics is a set of guidelines in behaving morally, we care on how can we affect other people, we care in our surroundings. Ethics studies the principles of morality. Morality is values who helps ethical decisions, its like your imagining in his or her position thinking what you would feel by doing an act of kindness or unkindness. A good example is you see a one-thousand-peso bill fell on his or her pocket without further notice and you think if you keep it you will have a delicious lunch but you also think that what if the man or the woman needed the money the most as he or she needs to buy medicine. You are thinking what the right thing is or the better good. By valuing the study of ethics more like living with a sense of honesty, your also making a good relationship as you become more caring, you become calmer and focused, and you avoid harming others.

Understanding ethics isn’t much of an easy task. If you let your judgement be clouded with emotions, conforming to the system of moral values isn’t really much of a thing. Digging deep into the subject of ethics, we learn how to resolve conflicts within ourselves that often confuses us to fall unto logic and create a bad decision or judgement. The subject gives us an insight on how things work not just for ourselves but for everyone around us. It helps us to bring out a good version of ourselves that isn’t prone to deviate from the societal norms which within us, we know is a wrongdoing. The value of its study is that everyone will have their own ethical standards that may create a better world for us all wherein no one lets themselves be eaten by greed.

In my own understanding of ethics, ethics is the root for the standard right and wrong. Without ethics, there would be a failed recognition and classification between the two. Right things may be mixed with wrong and wrong may be mixed with right. There would be no face for the both ground. Extinction of ethics would be a downfall for the human that will result to chaos. Additionally, ethics becomes the basis of people's behavior towards a certain event. Thus, doing what is good and right rather than bad and wrong. As stated in the previous sentence, ethics is the root and basis for standard right and wrong action. The value of studying ethics is that people will be more aware of what is morally right and wrong. If these two is identified, absorbed, and understand, we could live in a morally good life in our own expectations. By doing so, there would be more good deeds that could inspire and influence other individuals.

Ethics was defined as the science of the principles of right and wrong. Like what we all know, science may change through findings or breakthrough so basically ethics may also be change in a way by discovering new concepts. We, the society aren’t like this before. Back in the days, before we came to this day, we don’t have ethical laws or code we just come up on this idea by expecting other people to treat us the way we wanted to and also by doing the same and by this, we, the society agree to make a standard way to live our life thus making on what we have now ethics. Through time, this ethics change by getting new concepts. We decided on what may be right or wrong, what may be the good or bad and defining and expecting one’s worth on what will he/she acts.

Learning or studying Ethics is very important because it will help you to grow and develop your values and morality. It is also important for us to understand other's behavior too. For me, this subject should not only be taken as a subject inside the classroom. Thus, students or people should take it as a real life lesson, for it is not only about gaining knowledge but it is also about improving yourself in different aspects. It will help you to see and understand things in a bigger picture, evaluate your actions and decisions in life, to know what is best for you, and to think better for you to know who you really are. Ethics indeed in a broad topic. Studying it doesn't oblige you be ethical and change your points-of-view in life. Nevertheless it can be a useful study not just only for the span of time that you are studying but for the rest of your life.

Ethics are society’s sense of the right way on manner of living. It also assert what is morally right or wrong with the scenarios that we face. As a person, we encounter dilemmas in a daily basis. By learning ethics, the problems that we experience can lead the way to make decisions that strengthens who we are. It molds our character to a better human being. In addition, ethics can guide us what to choose in our decision making. Furthermore, it can take us to clearer positions and arguments on real life issues. In order to live ethical in an unethical world, we must conquer all the challenges life would bring to us. Decisions must be made not just for our benefits but also to the people who surround us. We must first put ourselves into someone’s shoe before choosing in order to empathize and understand what point of view they have. We must not pick decisions just because most of the people choose it, we must decide based on what we think it is morally right. Moral dilemmas test how we perceive situations and what actions will shall do. With that, Ethics can lead us to a betterment of life for we will be responsible in what we are to plan.

It guides people to fulfill of having a good morally life. However, we have our own different perspective of determining what is right and wrong. Ethics is defined as the moral principles that governs a person's behavior or the conducting of an activity. Understanding ethics needs commitment because while understanding it, we should also apply what we understood to our life. But, many disagree to that of setting a standard to what is wrong and right because at some point it is like making us do something we do not like and unwillingly. Choosing right is not always the right and choosing wrong is not always wrong thing to do as they say, because the right thing to do isn't always the common thing to do. Example of it is cheating, we know that cheating is wrong but in our heads we think that it is right because it is a common thing to do. Setting standards is not wrong but also keep in mind that it is also not always right.

Morals or in another name called Ethics is just conceivable in light of the fact that we can act against our nature in view of our conscience. Besides, it depends on very much established principles of good and bad that endorse what people should do, for the most part regarding rights, commitments, advantages to society, reasonableness, or specific virtues.
Values in ethics, means the level of significance of something or activity, with the point of figuring out what activities are ideal to do or what way is ideal to live (regularizing morals), or to portray the centrality of various activities.

Ethics is a very interesting study as it tackles about a person's perception of what is right and what is wrong, therefore there can be an argument because we don't think the same way. In one hand, people think that a certain behavior is right, while on the other hand it's not. Ethics can affect how a person handle his/her attitude and behavior because of how society judge you, nowadays, people tend to rely their ethical behavior based on what is right on societal view. Studying ethics is quite critical in building a personality, because of the subject ethics we'll know that we think and act differently as well as out view on what is right and wrong, hence, well be able to understand that it is okay to show who we really are and not to rely on what is right for other people. Moreover, it is okay not to meet everyone's expectations, as long as you're happy with what you've done, it's totally fine, we really can't please everyone, at the end of the day, we are the one who can make ourselves happy. Lastly, we shouldn't expect for someone to do something that is right for our point of view, we think differently indeed,s they might do it the other way, we need to understand all the views and not just what we think is right to avoid misconceptions.

We know ethics is the discipline dealing with what is good and bad with moral duty and obligation or rather is the ability to recognize, interpret and act upon multiple principles and values according to the standards within a given field. For example, famous hero, robin hood, we know how robin hood help other people to survive everyday. At some point, some people praise in a good way to how they help people and also in a bad way in what process he do. The conflict we always encounter in terms of ethics is the pleasure, want, greed, and situation. That's why many people confuse about what is really acceptable act in individual to society/community.

Every person has values and ethics he believes in and his behavior is guided to a great extent by these values and ethics. It is difficult, if not impossible, to imagine a society in which there are not codes of conduct, ways of assessing what is desirable or healthy and undesirable or unhealthy. Even if such codes are thought of as mere means of survival, there will still be implicit commitments to what is good or bad: food and water (in proportion) is good for persons, deprivation of either will lead to damage and dissolution.

in my opinion and understanding ethics is a moral is concerned with what is good for individuals and society. Nowadays we simple judge a person by their actions without even asking the real reason like for example some poor people begging for money along the steets. We judge them without even trying to know their background or real reason why they are doing those things. some of us say bad things about them but what if it is for helping their family for their everyday need since they cannot find a job thats the only way they think they can help and provide their families. We annot easilu judge the person what is righ or wrong because even us sometimes we don't now what is the right thing and the srong thing especially if we are stock on a same dfficult situations. Same as Moral sometimes we are doing things what is good for us but not good for someone/everyone it is not easy to say that the things you are doing is good if someone or something is affected with your decisions or actions

Ethics is also called moral philosophy, the discipline concerned with what is morally good and bad and morally right and wrong. The term is also applied to any system or theory of moral values or principles. For me, not all people can agree on what is right and what is wrong depending on the situation. For me, sometimes the wrong decision in one difficult problem can also solve the problem. For example, you both love plants and animals, what will you choose in time of a crisis, a burning tree or a drowning dog? Your answer will always depend on the situation, your experiences, the environment you are living at, and also the culture and norms of your society.
Can people live a morally good life based on expectations of other people?
It depends on the situation. For example, your parents wanted you to study on a Catholic school that they want because they feel that the school that they have chosen is good for you, but the decision still on the person whether to have a good life or not. You can't change people, but you can encourage the people to change.
For me, you can live a morally good life because the key of a happy life is not depending on other opinions and criticism, and without stepping on anyone and hurting other people.

"Ethics is the science of morality." The ethics and morality is connected by doing the right and wrong. We have a lot of things we lern in ethics being morally aware, having an understanding of virtues and how to apply them in concrete situations, being able to take the perspective of others, and being able to reason morally.
Can people agree on what is right and wrong for all people? Yes, the individual or the peron are able to take the perspective of others and the person must know morally to choose the right and wrong.
Can people live a morally good life based on expectations of other people? No, you can not live a morally good based on the others expectation. People will live a morally good life in they're own expectation, and the act of goodness of a person to others will lead in good life.

Ethics is somewhat misleading because how we view ourselves as individuals is sometimes different on how others view us because we don't think the same way. Maybe one thing is right for you but to others it's wrong. Everyday we are tested to face in a situation which we are obliged to take two actions at a time, but then realized that it would not be possible. It also a challenge of discipline for us because we are torn between carrying the problem of agreement to ourselves and expectations of people towards us. "The value of morality defines how a person's worth based on the goodness of his acts" is definitely true. It is okay not to meet the expectations of other people to us, as long as we know to ourselves that we did the right thing.

"First, ethics refers to well-founded standards of right and wrong that prescribe what humans ought to do, usually in terms of rights, obligations, benefits to society, fairness, or specific virtues."
So for me, Ethics is a part of what we behave in front of other people. Sometimes we need to choose between what is right and what is wrong depending on the situations. Sometimes we need to do the right thing even if we knew that there is person might get hurt. And sometimes some people choose to do the bad things even if they knew that is bad. Why? Because they want to have money or some thing that they can't have because of their social status.

When understanding ethics, you should also understand what morality is first. Ethics and morality deals with your principles of right and wrong. And we somehow misunderstood and forget what ethics is, mostly in a time that we are caught red-handed. It may challenge us in different various ways but having your ethics, knowing what is right from wrong will keep your feet on the ground and proudly show that you've done what is right.
Therefore, the value of ethics simply it helps you to deal with to the problems that you are encountered. And I agree that the value of morality defines how a person’s worth based on the goodness of his acts, for the reason of that now I realized and appreciate the quotation “Your attitude determines your direction”.

Ethics is one of the most important thing to understand. Because sometimes we are not aware of what we are doing, sometimes in decision-making we let our emotions to decided. And most of the time it led us to a wrong path.
Studying ethics would help the society to be stable, it will cause less harm and the environment would be peaceful. But of course, those who doesn't know the value of ethics or unethical probably it's hard for them to fit in the society. What if the society is full of unethical people? Probably the society won't work good and misunderstanding will occur.
And I believe if you are an ethical person, you'll cultivate inner peace. You have good conscience and good moral values.

Ethics can either be a judgement to what is right and wrong, that advice what people "ought to do". it is made so that we can have a direction or what we call code of conduct to obey so that people can understand how to properly behave in public, society, institute, etc.
understanding ethics is complicated, for you need to also understand the value of reasoning. because without reasoning and analyzing the situation, it can cost many losses in any aspect. for me before entering any situation or problem, we need to analyze and reason out the possibilities that will direct us to a stable choice. the things that we need to question ourselves are the legality, balance, and feeling of our options before we make our choices. so that we can sort out the dilemma well. as said on the vlog/blog "The value of morality defines how a person's worth based on the goodness of his acts or actions.

" Ethics becomes the science of the principles of RIGHT and WRONG"
It is the idea that we know the ethical value of right and wrong by listening to our conscience. " knowing that before one can do the right thing, one has to figure out what the right thing is". in short not all of us has the same way the others would think. Some of us has a different perceptions and opinions , you cannot push people to agree with you because there are things that we should understand and respect their own sayings. I've understand that Moral knowledge helps to guide us so that we can make a good decisions. Good things comes from people when they've known it better while bad things come from people when they don't know any better. In short, the same action may be morally right in one society but be morally wrong in the another. Example for this is my first reflection, where i share my thoughts and experiences like when my close friend ask me for a favor between choosing my friends happiness and choosing my own happiness. I knew that we are all struggling in choosing other people’s happiness and choosing ourselves for our own good, most of the time I’m stuck between the two, i go on with the happiness of my friends rather than choosing my own and that turns me out to have an unfortunate and inescapable outcome. I face those consequences i made, After that incident I’ve learned that no matter how hardly it was to accept, think twice so that you wouldn’t regret it in the end and now before we make a decision , always ask ourselves first if it is good for us or no, because from my life experiences, I don’t want to repeat those same mistakes from my past again. Lastly, choose what’s in your mind and i bet you might not regret it in the end. Always choose yourself, always choose your happiness, and always choose what is the best for you not for the sake of the happiness of others. In this lesson ethics may connect us in terms of its standards and approaches but always remember that morality is founded spiritually. And with that we should not expect things from other people.... who knows that maybe one day they can harm us in just a snap.

Ethics is being interrupted differently in different situation.
It is a standard of behavior that tell us how human beings
ought to act in the many situations in which they find themselves-as friends, parents, children, citizens, business people,
teachers, professionals. Students being the part of the society and tomorrow’s nation’s builders, ethics should be inculcated among the students through educational framework.
The teachers should orient all students to analyse and understand what is “good” and what is “bad” or what is “wrong”
and what is “right” or what to do and what not to do with
reference to day-to-day commitments. Commonly ethics is
perceived as judging others, family values, outcomes, legal
rights, or specialists in solving personal problems but ethics
actually mean two aspect. The Most essential character to be
present in a human is the ability to discern right from wrong,
good from evil and propriety from impropriety and the commitment to do what is right, good and proper. Ethics is not
just a topic to mull or debate, it entails action.
Ethics and values education encompasses a wide
variety of aspects, conceptual frameworks, topics,
and approaches.

In a simple way, ethics is a system of principles that tells us what is right and wrong and what is good and bad. It is about the sum of the qualities that defines a person. The value of studying ethics is that it serves as a practical guide on how to morally live our lives. Ethical values such as responsibilty, honesty and trustworthiness helps us guide on the right way of dealing ethical dilemmas by eliminating such behaviors that does not agree to our sense of right and wrong. In this case, we can handle ethical dilemmas morally without sacrificing others. Ethics also helps to built a stable society wherein if each one of us decides to live our lives ethically, we will become generous, able to tell the truth and will avoid harming others.

Ethics refers to the concepts on how a person behave in a situation. People are aware of what is right and what is wrong but due to various reasons, people are having a hard time on choosing what’s benefit them. I think it’s better to live in honesty than live with guilt. Basically, humans should promote righteousness and cause no harm to others. Ethics is important because it helps us to be a better person and change how people see us in a better way. But not all of us have the same perspective. But living honestly and having no conscience symbolize a good moral character is enough in our society.

Ethics is about how can you be the light and salt to others. It is about how people should act in a specific circumstance. It is an option between doing a right thing, be positive and maintain a great reputation and you can choose to do a wrong thing and have a negative output. Just like the light and salt, the light is responsible to give shine on dark places and the salt is used to enhance the flavor/ ethics. It is our reasonable accountability for us to help and avoid from hurting others.
We need to emphasize in our life the value of having an ethics and moral behavior. At the end of the day, it is not important to be perfect to others but we can give light and be inspired for good ethics that you have. We can be the salt that add flavors and influence others for having a fair and good justice of ethics.

Ethics is the manner of residing your lifestyles with conscience, knowledge and having the braveness to take the proper and simply selection. In each degree of lifestyles beginning with early life to old age, ethics do construct a manner to guide a higher lifestyles. Ethics function a fixed of guidelines that assist us to come to a decision with complete conscience. We all find out about ethics from our family, friends, non secular beliefs, and the society wherein we grow. These additional characteristics that we have gained as we grow older tend to mold us into the person we become as time passes. The ethics provide us with the basis for recognizing the idea of what is right and wrong, admits us to differentiate moral values from other values, and gives us a sense of approval of moral choices, knowing that even though it might influence others. This is why I consider the importance of ethics because it should also lead one to develop skills in articulating your own values, to provide others with reasons for your actions and give you the means of questioning the values of others.

Ethics is a study or a science which has a definite definition, yet in terms of society application, it would be really hard to distinguish which one is absolute.
People came from different places, where they adapt its cultures, traditions, and practices. In relation to this as well is the belief that they were raised to. Thus, as to the question if people can really agree on what is right and wrong for all people, will surely not result to an undivided answer. Yes, people may live morally good BUT according to “different” expectations and outviews of “different” individuals.
Further, Ethics is not just a science, but a mere obligation. It is not an easy task, and its performance is made difficult by the ever-growing pressure of our society in all fields of human endeavor. There is nothing wrong with pursuing one’s own interests. However, an ethical person must be willing – at least sometimes – to place the interests of others ahead of self-interest, because of our responsibility to a civil society.

Part of what makes humans unique is our freedom to determine how we’ll act. Ethics is only possible because we can act against our nature, based on our conscience. It stops us from simply describing what is likely to happen, and allows us to make judgements about what should happen. Whenever we make a choice, it was possible for us to have made a different one. The only thing that prevents us from falling into the void is us, our choice to do otherwise. Ethics isn’t the only way to define what the ‘best’ decision might look like. Some might see it as the one that advances their own goals and interests, or makes the most money. Sometimes we cannot just easily agree on what is wrong and right for all people, unless we know the whole story of the situation they were in. We can live a morally good life without worrying the expectations of other people, because it is us who knows our selves.

Nowadays, understanding ethics is very important because it plays a major role in a society. it is the principle of what is right and what is wrong. The value of being ethical, or knowing the good or bad of the things in a society is important to our daily lives because it is our behavior or how we act and expected to do good things to other people. We care so much about what people thinks of us to the point that we always do the things that people will accept even though you are not happy about it. And dealing with negative people that expecting too much is the hard thing because you can either be judge, discriminate, or so much more. You can live happily or not if you do good or bad to people, and know the consequences of that. But remember to always do the right thing and be kind to people at all times for a better society.

Ethics is the study of what persons (or societies) actually believe or act on, in terms of right and wrong, virtue and vice, goodness and badness. Base on my own understanding, we need to respect everyone's perspective in life.
For example, Do the right thing but you're not happy or Do the wrong/bad thing but you will be happy. It is difficult for us to decide what is good to ourself if its desirable or healthy and undesirable or unhealthy. If you choose the right thing even if your not literally happy it is a survival and a discipline, maybe we will have no opportunity to carefully reflect on the values that shape our life, no chances to think more whether the values in our society are wise or foolish. Everyone's choices and descisons must be respected because a person whose morality is reflected in their willingness to do the right thing even if it is hard or dangerous. It is a freedom. It is a lifestyle that is consistent with mankind' s universal values.

I found out that ethics had many branches in which some of it are different from each other, doing something that pleases everyone some people may not agree with you. We all have different interpretation of what to act to people when we meet each other, if you agree on something that does not mean that others will also agree with you. They say that ethics and moral are the same but from what I have search morals are a strong believe on what you believe is right that is shape by culture and believes and ethics on the other hand tells how you distinguish a good attitude to others and behaviour in communicating to them, that said what you think or what you believe is right has a chance that others may not agree with you and if others agree on something there is also a chance that you will disagree with them. In ethics you should know to do the right thing but the real challenge is what is the right thing.

Nowadays, if we heard the word 'Ethics', we automatically think it is about goodness and right actions. Yet, Ethics can be considered as the process of questioning, discovering, and defending the values and principles that we have. Through time people will collect new values and will have his own critic and opinion about it that may result for his own standard of right and wrong. We all know that ethics may differ to anyone's perspective because, like the time and society it also changing. I believe that Ethics is inevitably changing in terms of time, situation, and perspective. Sometimes in the society, ethics are the reason of conflicts because everyone has their own principles of right and wrong or what are the right actions and not, depending on their own standards without considering and accepting others standards. Thus, I think that misunderstanding and being close minded is the reason why people causing problems through ethics. We should accept that everyone has their own standards or beliefs and we must respect it though it sometimes opposed our own standards but it is the chance to know what is really the right and the wrong. Lastly, the differences of perspectives in ethics can be the way not to argue, but to understand people or simply their own reasons regarding their perspective.

Ethics is the foundation of what is right and wrong, and it refers to our moral principles. It shapes us in doing something that won’t violate our moral/ethical standards and helps us in distinguishing the righteousness of every actions and decisions. Ethics is significant in how we behave and react in different situations as it highlights the duty and capacity of the person to reach his/her own decisions through thinking, and to figure out which principles are important in a specific case. In some cases, ethics or ethical standards are the reason why people are having conflict in the society, because people have different perspective in defining what is right and wrong. Not everyone has an equal judgement, and not all are open in accepting and understanding the standards of other people. Ethics refers to the guidelines for conduct, that address question about morality. If people wanted a fair and peaceful community, we should respect the differences and not address problems and make decision based on our emotions and priorities.

Ethics establishes the rules and standards of right from wrong, good from bad, just from unjust, and moral from immoral. It is not only about the morality of a specific course of action, but it's also about the goodness of people and what it means to live a good life. By setting rules, standards and principles, we can base our conduct which serves as a guide to our moral daily living. Ethics is also concerned with other people's interests, with the interests of society, with “ultimate goods” and with God's interests. The importance of studying ethics guides a person to examine how he lives and to critically evaluate his behaviors, choices and decisions. Which help us in knowing what direction is the best in our lives.

Ethics is the standard to meet for you to know whether you are right or not. Ethics can dictate what is the right thing to do when you are in this specific situation. But I think ethics is still too complex for me to understand as of now, because I still think that ethics is not universal, it varies from one person to another, what is ethically dominant to majority may not be ethically conducted in a small group, but it doesn't mean that they are wrong just because they go against what is common or normal, their actions are still valid but different. I mean, what may seem right for you, may not for me. There's no absolute one right thing to do in this world consists of different beliefs and conduct. I am still confuse and unsure as we discuss the introduction to ethics, and personally that is the value of it's study, to make me , a student realize how can I know what is the right thing and when can I say that I am doing the right thing.

We all know that ethics refers to specific rules and actions, or behaviors. But ethics, is not just following a law or rule that is established. Instead, ethics can also emphasize by having a responsibility of individual to study belief and conduct of each and every one. As we know, we have our different interpretation and understanding when we go to other county or meet a new people that may lead questions and conclusions in our mind. I believe, it’s not just what is the right thing to do and not but, living ethically that requires effort to understand our differences when it comes to values and beliefs. Without understanding, we will lack of respect to the perspective of others. The right thing to do before we do the right actions is to understand first the differences of everyone and have respect to their point of view.

Ethics is a system of moral principles which affects people's decisions in living a good life through questioning, discovering and defending one's values and principles. Also, it establishes standards of what is right and wrong for a society at large. However, it is not just simply following the standards rather exercising one's own beliefs, values and principles on how to respond in certain instances. On the other hand, we must not forget that people vary in perspectives which means that what is right for me might be wrong for others. From this, it allows us to know and understand our differences as well as learning to accept and respect each others' views and opinion. Moreover, we should also keep in mind that standards are not permanent since society is constantly changing as well as the people, what is ethical now might be unethical tomorrow. Thus, the value of its study, ethics, is to help us determine the right thing before doing what is right and lastly, to make us understand why we should do the right thing.

"It’s always harder to be a good person, it takes much reward to defeat temptations for doing the right thing." Ethics is the science of morality and deals with the principles of right and wrong, Doing the right thing is all about doing what’s fair. An eye for an eye. Equal work for equal pay. And doing the wrong thing is all about doing what is unfair. Depending on whether that fairness tip in your favor or not, doing what is right or wrong can be equally hard or easy. As a person it's really hard to work out what's right or wrong, because it's supported what's the norm and what the society set about it, but due to ethics we will get clues of what and the way to affect it. Now a days, if you live ethically, means you're living your life supported moral principles which benefits the entire society based that shows equality. In the other hand, Being a person's that's capable of knowing what's right or wrong gives us the chance to line expectations to ourselves to measure that's fully ethical yet, others are defying moral principles supported their own needs and mostly driven by greed. Moreover, Ethics gives us the baseline of understanding the concept of what's right and wrong, helps us distinguish moral values from other values, and it gives people the sense of validation to moral decisions. Overall, I would encourage you to be a person of integrity from this moment forward. Decide ahead of time to walk in your ethic, even when it is hard to do. Understanding ethics helps us and guide us what is the right thing to do and enable us reflect on our own values because reevaluating our own value help us to to take a straight path. it keeps us grounded. also for us to expand our awareness of the values of others because we all have different standards of what is right and wrong and not all people agree on what is right and wrong for all people. example others are in favor of having a death penalty it is ethical for them because for them an eye for an eye but other people find it unethical because it doesn't conform on commandments of God. other example is that your society agree on abortion and it is ok for them to have abortion but in your point of view it's not right it's unethical that's why it's important to study ethics to be able to understand not all conform on the same standards of what is right and wrong. and lastly ethics is important because it helps us to judge and to make decisions on what is the right thing to do in a certain situation.

As we grow and became an adult, at some point we tend to question what is really right and wrong. What if the "right" thing that we know is really the "not the right" one --- and vice-versa. At this case, we observe and realize things that, we are living in different households or group but we somehow still communicate outside such as going to our school and work. In this situation, people tend to adopt new things and adjust on a group wherein we consider what is right and wrong things.
Doing what is right and avoiding what is wrong somehow affects us on achieving the expectation of the society as well as giving us the satisfaction -- or not --- on living our lives on its fullest. Because as an individual, we seek for our own satisfaction such as achieving our goals by ourselves either considering the "thoughts" and "feelings" of others or not at all. It is really up to us , what is the limitations of our conscience on assessing ourselves and our surroundings.
On the other hand, we are trying to put standards and limitations of doing things and to consider it as right and/or wrong, to achieve "peace" and "fairness" for all. An example, setting a law for the society. On this case, we are still connected to one, we follow the rules of the society and be the judge on each individual that we encounter.

To do what is right and wrong actions is to live an ethical life, and to do what needs to be done is living based on your morality. Ethics makes you question yourself what actions you need to do, why you should do it, and what possible consequences you might face if you do it, otherwise not to do it. Morality is your sense of the right and wrong actions which you may adapt from your parents, family, or a group where you belong in which tells you what are the 'dos' and 'don'ts'. Ethics is a standard of right and wrong, and good or bad which is imposed by society. As a future manager, I imagine myself entering a company that I know to have business ethics or standards which what their employees should do and not do, and I believe it can help me to grow and improved my abilities. Ethics will guide you with your actions, sometimes we are having a hard time doing the right thing but the truth is we just do not know how to do the right thing. Moreover, studying ethics will help us grow and understand that we should not only base our actions on our morals or things that we believe are right. We also need to practice dealing with what is truly the right thing that would benefit not only for you but also for the people around you.

Ethics is a set of moral principles that helps us distinguish what is good and bad. Ethics is a very essential part in our daily life. Part of growing up, we learned to distinguish between what is right and what is wrong. In everything we do ethics and moral is always our companion or guide to tell, to act properly and to make judgement without biases. With the help of ethics we know and judge if our behavior or act is suitable and can be justified. We people, we value judgement and we value life. There are times that we do something that it's not right but still we did. There were situation that, because of the expectation of the people around us we do something bad and we forget our morality in decision, in order for them to not being disappointed to us, and Also when we always bound to the thing we do, and you will do it over and over again making yourself not credible for any credit cause what you are doing is typically in the wrong side.
Moreover, we people we must know and learned what the value of morality in our life. We must not depend on other people judgement, and do not their expectation define you and control you. Not all the time we agree to the people around us. You have your own freedom to judge and choose your behavior properly in a given situation and to choose being moral and immoral.

In Ethics includes being responsibility(not only on yourself but also on how you act without affecting others), conscience(when you doing bad, your conscience will haunt you till you stop doing it), behavior etc. Ethics is about our choices or decision, we all know that every choices has consequences that will affect ourselves and our surroundings. Ethics is about our character, that defines who we are as individual and on the society. For much of my life I seemed to have had a vague notion of right and wrong, but I was merely following rules laid down by someone else. And there’s a trap to doing that. You’re not thinking when you just mindlessly do as you’re told, and the older I’ve become the more I realize how important thinking for oneself really is. It’s simply not enough to tell someone not to do a thing. If someone has any sense of curiosity, they might —depending on the topic— wonder why they’re not allowed to do it. The prevailing authority of any given age does not encourage anyone to think for themselves. You might come to a conclusion that is contrary to what they would have you conclude.
What I have concluded, after a great deal of thought, is that if you give someone power over you, they will not choose for you what you might have chosen for yourself. They don’t want you to be you. They want to create copies of themselves, for their own comfort, so that the world will make sense to them. We are under no obligation to do that.
Since then, I have given thought to what living an ethical life means to me, and it is essentially living your best and most honest self in your eyes. Others may disagree with your choices, but this is your life, not theirs. What I have learned is that you cannot be yourself and them too. And this even applies to your parents. A lot of parents want to produce little carbon copies of their own sense of morality in their children. You cannot be you and them too. Pick through and discard what doesn’t truly serve you. You will be glad you did when you find yourself getting closer and closer to who you are and who you choose to be.

Being ethical can help every individual to become a better, and much meaningful human being. Ethics relates to build a quality of good and bad decision in life. It is the personal enrichment of every individual that depends on how they will apply the ethical values.
People always rely on what thing/s that is good for them, because they want to fulfill their needs and wants, sometimes they committed mistakes for their own purpose. We all know that all human beings have their own limitations of doing right thing, sometimes they do bad/wrong decision for the sake of others or for the good of others. Example of this, in your home, your youngest brother accidentally broke the T.V and you know that your mother will get angry on him, then you decided to tell you mother that you are the one who broke the T.V, to protect your brother. On that decision, you have no regrets on what you did because you see it as a right decision to protect your brother. But when it comes to ethical value, it is considered as a mistake, you did a wrong thing even for the sake of your brother and also based on what i learned on our previous subject about the "sin" it is considered as a venial sin. In this scenario, it explains the value of doing right and wrong. To be honest, this example are the things that I already did for my brother. Another example is the Philippine Government, on the speech of Sen. Manny Paquiao, if you are doing good things for the society, many people will harm and tried to stop you on what you are doing. #MoneyIsTheNewLaw
We live in the world that need to value right and wrong doings.

Ethics or moral philosophy is a discipline concerning what is good and bad and what is right and wrong. Being ethical means accepting the moral standards.
For example, we are currently facing a pandemic that causes a lot of uncertainties. During the citywide coronavirus lockdown many workers lost their jobs especially the jeepney drivers. A group of six jeepney drivers organize a rally to protest lost wages during the citywide coronavirus lockdown. The group had organized the rally to ask for permission to resume operations and to request government aid after protesting the drivers were arrested and face charges amid heightened protest. If you think about it the drivers disobey the restrictions implemented during the lockdown but on the other hand they just did what they can do and what is right on their own eyes because all they want to do is survive and there is no wrong with that.
Being right and being wrong is depends on the situation, maybe for some people the jeepney drivers commits wrong but for the jeepney drivers they think that they made a right decision. It is important to know and to do what is needed not what is needed to be done.

Ethics means we always do the right thing if you do the right thing the revenue will take care fo itself. And it doesn't have to be hard to do the right thing we are just scared of what is going to be the result, we're scared of the consequences we might face in the future. In further study shows that society would be reduced to the kind of animal behavior that is shown in environment. Also at the end of the day you can always choose "do the right thing or do things right"

Our world is constantly spinning as our views and way of life is constantly changing. As we grow up, we experience different situations that needs decision. We are restricted in our actions as we are thinking of what really is right and wrong. We grow up in a different environment thus we have our different perspective on what is right and wrong. In every situation there are always a right and wrong decision for you and in the eyes of the people that surrounds you. There are always choices in every path that we take. We are doing things what we think is right. Our perspective in life ruled over the things that we do. Therefore, ethics is still to broad to understand. There are still so many things that needs consideration and careful thinking in deciding whether the action is right or wrong. Lastly, there are no permanent in the world but change. People needs to adapt in the changes to live.

Ethics is known to be the system of moral principles that help individuals to distinguish right and wrong. Ethics makes you doubt 'why are you doing a certain thing', 'what is its possible outcome' and 'do you really need to do a certain thing or just don't do anything?' I think ethics is a standard that is imposed by the society, whether it is right or wrong. On the other hand, morality is just a sense of right and wrong that you may adopt from your environment. There's a situation that it's hard to balance your moral ground. Like for example, there's a killer and you knew where the victim's hiding. A killer asked you where is the victim, are you going to tell the truth or are you going to lie just to protect the victim? In every decision we make, there's always a consequences. Like in the situation above, you might get in danger if you lied but if you tell the truth, the victim will get in danger. The society might say that you are bad because you lied but in your own you just want to protect the killer or the society might say that you are good because you protected the killer but in your own you're bad because you lied. That's how I understand ethics, being right and wrong, good or bad is based on the standard of the society. To be good or bad, a person's perception must be same from the society's standard.

‘Ethics’ discusses how we act that can be right or wrong, that also can affect our own character, and how we act towards the good and the bad things. Studying ethics is inevitable. Ethics is everywhere, you cannot escape how ethics works since we are living where rules and codes of conducts are being implemented and also we have conscience with everything we're doing that involves the values we are showing while interacting. Ethics is very important to study since it involves what is right and what is wrong with dealing a situation. Ethics are the actions that we're making with considerating the things that might affect our own action with the right thing that we can do.

There a lot of definition of ethics such as “Ethics is the science of morality.”, “Ethics is knowing what is right and wrong.” and more but the question here is that do people really understand and value what is ethics or do they just do it because of the expectation of people & society have for them. I believe that knowledge is the foundation of ethics but understanding & the heart is its foundation. It is good to have the knowledge of what is right and wrong. However, if you are just gonna do something just because that is what the society, laws, and people tells and expect you to do. You wouldnt have the power to stand for your own belief according to what is morally right. What if a person have a different stand of what is right compare to other people who are you gonna follow?
The value of ethics for me, does not just only end between knowing what is right and wrong and doing it so. But it is doing something right & necessary because you understand it, Your heart and your mind tells you and in that way it builds you. YOUR CHARACTER, PERSONALITY AND YOU AS A PERSON. That is the power of ethics.

Ethics is we must learn and understand, there are more definition of ethics like, Ethics has to do with what my feelings tell me is right or wrong. Ethics has to do with my religious beliefs. This is some example but do we really know the real meaning of ethics for us??. For me Ethics is that we must learn and understand because ethics is the science of morality. Morality deals with the principles of right and wrong. Ethics is our some decision and action in our life even we don't know if its right or wrong but we do an decision that we think it is better for us even that we are taking a risk but we know that its worth it and also ethics not only discussed about the right and wrong but also discussed your personality and you as a person. Ethics is has more definition but we must see the value of ethics in our life.

Ethics is essential in our lives, we need to learn and understand for us have a better decision in our lives. “Ethics is the science of morality. Morality deals with principles of right and wrong. In inference, ethics becomes the science of the principles of right and wrong”. In this definition, I have learned that ethics refers to moral conclusion based on the standard, rules, regulation and the norms. The ethics serve/ help us in decision making. Through ethics we can be the best version of ourselves. Our lives is full of judgment or decision, we need to understand the principles of right and wrong, the good and bad. Through the help of ethics we can have righteous judgment that can help other people and our society that we are in.

Ethics deals with such questions at all levels. Its subject consists of the fundamental issues of practical decision making, and its major concerns include the nature of ultimate value and the standards by which human actions can be judged right or wrong. Ethics, also called moral philosophy, the discipline concerned with what is morally good and bad and morally right and wrong. The term is also applied to any system or theory of moral values or principles.

In life, we always struggle in terms of decision-making especially if we are stuck or if we have to choose between two different options. I can say that it's pretty hard to make a decision because I believed that in every action or decision there is always a consequence. A consequence that we have to stand for. Just in case we are stuck in decision-making, we must think of an alternative choice that will not affect other people. And provide some reason in deciding.

Ethics is The rules of conduct recognized in respect to a particular class of human actions or a particular group or culture. Moral is Principles or habits with respect to right or wrong conduct. While morals also prescribe dos and don'ts, morality is ultimately a personal compass of right and wrong.
Ethics is the process of questioning, discovering and defending our values, principles and purpose. It’s about finding out who we are and staying true to that in the face of temptations, challenges and uncertainty. It’s not always fun and it’s hardly ever easy, but if we commit to it, we set ourselves up to make decisions we can stand by, building a life that’s truly our own and a future we want to be a part of.

Ethics is a set of societal rules or standards or guidelines that society wants us to follow. In my understanding, the value of ethics in life is determining what actions are best to do ow what way is best to live. Sometimes, these ethics can lead a person to a good life but it could make them the person they don't want to be. When a person believes what is right or wrong, society always comes in the way. Ethics always contradicts individual morality. I'm not saying that ethics are bad, it's just that it intertwines with our decisions in life. For me, the best thing to do for this is to just follow what you find right or wrong,. The heart is the foundation of what you want and what you need in life.

As Ethics involves systematizing, defending, and recommending concepts of right and wrong behavior. It shows that ethics distinguishes what is morally right? or morally wrong. This will help a person to understand if, is this wrong? or is this right? choices and justify what would be the best option.
Ethics is basically how you view the two sides and how you understand, how you analyze depending on the situation you are in.

For me Ethics loosely have to do with distinguishing the difference between “good and bad” or “right and wrong. It is also in line with moral behaviour and moral principles, ethics involves systematizing, defending, and recommending concepts of right and wrong behavior. For me, the ethical behaviour of a person depends what the person himself looks into, as a human each one of us needs to have good morality for us to be called as humane.
Ethics is an aspect on which learning and knowing between the right and wrong that's why having morality is sacrificing on a person's short-term interests and emotions to benefit others and to do good.
Ethics or morality will base you on what kind of human are you and how will you act and decide out on things even based on the worst scenario and situations you must have good moral.

Ethics becomes the science if the principle of right and wrong based on what is written above. What do we really know about what is right and what is wrong when all of the individuals in a society has their own opinion and beliefs. Some of us has a different perspective on what we do everyday the things that we though is right might be wrong to others and by that people around are setting an image or expectations on how they see that specific individual either its bad or good because what we do affects our surroundings. For example, someone did a terrible thing like rob a bank, people will see that person as a bad person because he did the wrong thing and even though he regretted what he did or already apologized people surrounding him won’t forget what he did in the past. So its important for us to know what is the importance of what is right and wrong because it will affect on how will other people will see us and treat us. That is what I conclude base on what I understand on this topic.

In my perspective, Ethics is a matter which is difficult to understand. It is said in the first line of the introduction, that Ethics is a science of morality and morality has different perspective for different persons. In others point of view, their principle might be different to mine and my principles is also different to a certain person. But for me, ethics is a belief of thinking about the goodness of the whole, it is thinking about what the outcome will be in choosing a certain decision, would it bring a decent outcome or terrible outcome. It is about choosing a decision which will benefit the whole without stepping on someone's character. And we need Ethics to understand the deep meaning behind these different perceptions. And that is why ethics is an important subject to consider. In finding and digging deeper in the Philosophy of Ethics, we might be able to build our personality firmer and stronger than ever before. And having such philosophies in our life is what we need. Beliefs that will bring goodness and prosperity to us all.

Many of us struggle in decision making when we already know what will be the outcome of our response. Expecting too much in the effect of your decisions or actions is highly take the risk thing.
In this disciplinary way of ethics can be also have a good or bad effect to some people who don't want to accept or understand what actions or respond to his decisions and actions that he's/she's making. Many of us accept the suggestions of there people but some of people don't want to agree to their suggestions even if it will give benefits to them.
I think this reasoning/philosophy, they just said it because in their mindset this advice will just just also ruined their actions and decisions. If the ethics will be understand, I think it may help some people who struggle in the way of their thinking when it comes to doing right or wrong.

In humanities, human is considered to be the highest form of animal, it is because human have the ability to think rationally. Being rational means knowing what is good/right
wrong/bad. In connection, ethics is very essential in human existence. With the help of the idea of morality, ethics works and affects human conduct. Considering it affects
every truth, opinion, and moral standard of a person.
It is a wide matter , it can be affected by different aspect because of the upbringing (culture), religion, and laws.
Ethics helps us to think critically (dilemma) before we act because it serves as our moral standard, if our actions is considered acceptable or not. With the help of this
standards, a common ground that leads to understanding can be attained.

So, What is the point of knowing and understanding ethics? Knowing ethics is to act of what is the right decisions and the wrong doings that needs to be upright. And also the morality of which we expands our understanding for the purpose of a good outcome. On the top of that, We are living in the world where you actions is needed to visualize nor overlook by the other people. We are always in the situations that every move we make is to be judge by others, Even if you make a little mistake without knowing them the real reasons why you did that blunder is just a big misstep for them and they cannot accept the fact that is is just a misinterpret. So, for me the value of ethics is very important by individuals because it depends to the maturity of a person to know the reliability that can fullfil our life to the fairness of this world.

Good or bad is aligned to an individual’s perspective due to diverse beliefs of religion and culture, that is why ethics can affect the people’s state of mind to change either because of an objective standards in life or a subjective standard. Ethics is worried about rights, obligations, utilization of language, living a moral life, and how individuals settle on moral choices. We may consider lecturing a scholarly exercise, yet more habitually it's an endeavor to sort out our gut senses and responses. It's an emotional idea, and numerous individuals have solid and difficult convictions about what's good and bad that can put them in direct differentiation to the ethical convictions of others. However despite the fact that ethics may differ from one individual to another, religion to religion, and culture to culture, many have been discovered to be general, coming from essential human feelings.

Recently, this pandemic, tests our minds and our way of thinking and connecting to one another. Normalizing the fact of having individuality in which lowers the ‘standards’ of what is right and wrong. Miss Heart Evangelista-Escudero, as an example. She’s been attacked last year by trolls in her Instagram post saying such as, irrelevant, insensitive, of what our country’s facing. In contrary, it’s Heart’s way of coping from all the toxins that surrounds us. Well, in life being ethical isn’t the answer to be accepted in our society, it is a guide of what should be done, in short, a practice to perform wherever we are. Respect begets respect. If we respect ones’ selves, then all the ‘right’ will follow leaving the ‘wrong’ out of our way. We have our own ways of coping up to be fitted in the standards, just like Miss Heart. It’s just a matter of accepting divergence.

Through these principles, it guides us on how we should live in our lives considering it gives a huge impact on our decision we make. With these, we can grow as a righteous human being. But can you imagine the world without ethics? People just do whatever they want. Evil and chaos will always be present. For some reason where people set their own standard which sometimes being "fixed" standard in the society, people must possess with moral ethics. Since ethics refers to specific rules and actions or behaviors, there should be the limitations of decision making in setting new norms or the standards of the society wether if it's good or bad as long as it does not affect for everyone because it gives us real and practical guidance to our lives. Yes, we are aware that the choices that we make have consequences and the responsibility that we have for our actions. Yet, sometimes we are beyond thise ethical standard boundaries. Our society might fall into chaos if we accept that each of us could pick and choose what the right thing to do is. Decisions that were considered ethical from the past years are reevaluated because society has decided the original decision was not the correct one. We need to continue to explore the decisions from our past and determine if the answer we came up with is still acceptable today. Just like humanity, ethical situations are evolving and we need to be ethical because it defines who we are individually and as a society.

Ethics deals more on the principles of right and wrong and it is also the discipline dealing with what is good and bad and with moral duty and obligation. This moral duty and obligation are possible to use in a bad or good way it depends on how to use it, but mostly in my experience they are using their moral duty to look good on others even if they are not honest with their self, for example taking credit for others work, you are good in the perspectives of the others but their expectations on you are far from your ability, it is good to be honest on yourself than pretending to be good to impress others. Ethics [ Tuesday 8am-11am]
"Ethics is the science of Morality, on the other hand, Morality deals with the principles of right and wrong." In my understanding, Ethics is a vital force that deals with how we see or judge something, it acts as a set of moral principles that guides everyone to distinguish what is morally and ethically right and wrong, or good and bad. Based on the understanding that I gathered in my previous classes, Ethics are commonly concerned with the standardized code of right and wrong that is identified and shaped by our cultural practices, religious beliefs and influence, and even by the social norms that exist in our surroundings. Thus, ethics has a significant value on how a person can be shaped as a human being, either by an individual or being part of a society, and if there is no morality or ethics that is existing in humanity, the world might be live with full of hatred, wherein anyone is free to steal and cause harm to other people. In sum, Ethics gave everyone a moral obligation that can help to open the consciousness of every individual to differentiate what is right and wrong that can benefit humanity. After all, ethics is doing what is right even when no one is looking around us.

Ethics is a part of our daily living, A principle that helps us tell right from wrong, good from bad and a science of morality by the definition itself. It is all about the choices we make. We constantly face choices that affect the quality of our lives. We are aware that the choices that we make have consequences, both for ourselves and others. We are also aware of the responsibility we have for our actions.
Though ethics is a standard, making judgements is not easy because the same action may be morally right in one society but be morally wrong in another. Each of us has our own moral and ethics that we believed and practiced. We should live in a way that helps everyone achieve the goal of happiness. It is hard to live a good life if we based on other’s expectations because we have our own ideal of good life.

As the dictionary define ethics, also called moral philosophy, it is about discipline concerned with what is morally good and bad and morally right and wrong. In my point of view and understanding ethics is like a guidelines for us to know which is right and which is wrong. All of us have different view or judgment about what is right and what is wrong, for example eating a pizza with pineapple is right for but for other people they will see it as wrong way to eat pizza.
For what I learned in the past subject, ethics is based on majority. Meaning, the baseline of ethics doesn't came from selected people but in the majority. For example, in the Philippines it is ethically wrong for having a divorced, but if we look in other country like in the America for them it is not ethically wrong. Ethics is a set of rule view as not by only person but the whole society, unlike in moral where it is based on your belief.
Studying ethics serve as a guide in how to be a proper and good citizen because it is set by majority in the society. It also help us to judge or understand things but not all the time and not for all places because ethics changed through time, place, age, and race.

GEC8 - ETHICS [Tuesdays 8:00 AM-11:00AM]
From what I understand and gathered about ethics, ethics make a major contribution in our daily life. In practical term, it is called moral philosophy because it divides the philosophy concerning with how an individual should behave in a matter that is considered morally correct or good. It is an exploration of moral behavior that seeks to formulate concrete “why” and “how” answers to the questions that philosophy poses. For example: Why is there life? Why was the Earth created? How do we know that what we think is the truth, really is the truth? Why a person should act in a certain way? This enable Ethics on how that ”why” is carried out and gives us standards, virtues and rules by which we use to direct how we behave on a daily basis of our lives.

For me, ethics is like the saying "do it or not" What I mean here, that every decision has a result or outcome whether the result is good or bad as ethics, there is a bad or wrong decision to be made. It is an act of evaluating and considering what is good for individuals and society. "Ethics is the science of morality. Morality introduces the principles of right or wrong". Ethics is the standard of human behavior in a society, it is a behavior or set of standards that governs behavior in society. "This is the process of questioning the discovery and defense of our values., principles and objectives ". People can live a good life not based on what other people expect. To expect something especially if the basis is right or wrong is not possible. People just set it according to what they see. People create their own definition of right or wrong, people set the standard when it comes to what is right and wrong, but in fact we do not really know what is right and wrong when it comes to society. This is what a person must know and needs to understand. Moral philosophy is a behavior towards making the best choices that contribute to the common of all.

For what I understand for instance of In animal kingdom, we have been notified that their behavior is a little selfishly, they act on their urges that as much regards for others creatures But people are different we care about how our actions will may affect others. So I think we kind of have struggled to deal with our selfishness and urges cause our stuff for ourselves whether its food and more complex things that we love to do or desires we want. Nowadays I can't imagine that what would happen if everybody acted on these desires because it leads to a totally breakdown for one's person and within society. Fortunately Ethics is evolving into a sense of morality or right and wrong this is the sense to guide us into believing in a certain value of lying is wrong and kindness is good, that is sort of a thing that values turn to help us to make ethically making decisions we choose is that we feel good about. So basically Ethics are a set of guidelines for behaving morally.

Ethics is like a manual book of a product you bought that contains both the list of what you can/should do to the product or with the product and the list of things to prevent that could cause you or the product itself harm. Even though it is very important, many people still ignores/disregards it which I think is alarming to most people especially when ethics is the one that is being ignored. For me, ethics should most of the time, if not always, be considered before making any decision.
Some people ignore ethics due to familiarity, which I think is not that bad but also not that good due to the fact that we are forgetful people that needs refreshment on the basics from time to time. Some ignores it because of doubt, which cannot be blamed always due to different cultures, beliefs and experiences. Some also ignores it due to the discomfort it brings since doing what is wrong is most of the time, if not always, easier than doing what is right. While for others, they’re ignoring it just because they don’t care at all and sadly, I am part of this category sometimes. But I think that is the importance of ethics in our daily lives. Yes, we might think we already know what is right from wrong is because we keep on hearing it from our childhood up to now, but still, it somehow serves as a great reminder to us that can make us realize if we are really walking the talk.
I’m not saying that all morally accepted as right are always right and morally accepted as wrong are always wrong since some, if not most of it, are just made and decided by imperfect people just like us. But as long as we aren’t hurting anyone, disrespecting and degrading anyone or simply, just being a stumbling block to other’s growth and success, for me, it is morally right. Let’s always make a decision with the guidance of logical and humane moral.

Based on what I've read Ethics is a moral principle that govern or guides people to make a positive impact through their own decisions and actions. For me deeply understading ethics and applying it your life could really help you to make better decisions. I know that each and everyone of us has their own point of view on how we see and act on things and sometimes what we think right is somehow is what feels wrong to others.
There are people who are irresponsible on their actions and making decision without even thingking. For example in online class every student is required to pass their requirements on time but some students refuse to do their works earlier that's why they are procastinating and having some troubles on passing it on time. I didn't say that it is a wrong action or decision because i know some of us has something else to do first but come to think of it that if we do our works earlier we wouldn't have to rush and we wouldn't have to worry on how we will pass it on time because at the end of the day our decisions has a consequence that's why we have to do what is right. Ethics is helping us and allows us to live an authentic life or a meaningful life. Having a firm character or set of principles to guide you in life are somehow ethics is all about.
Everything we will do is going to reflect on us that's why it is important to do what is right than what you think feels right.

Ethics gives our life the definitive of what is right and what is wrong. It gives us guide on how we should make a decision in a certain situation. But not because it is morally right means it's the right answer to choose. I also believe that despite the standards, every individual still has a different answer to what they think is right. From culture to religion, and how we are raised in an environment, we all have a different answer to coped up with, not because you have the similar answer to one or two doesn't mean that you are right and they are wrong.

We all have been given a freedom to do what we want to do, even if it is right or wrong, it is our choice to make. A decision that will always have a consequence and will change the flow of your life. Ethics are made for us to be able to know what should be done, what actions or decisions should we make, and what is acceptable for the society. This will guide us in how we want to live our life, but that doesn't assure that you'll benefit in being moral and we all know that, most of us experienced it. It doesn’t always go our way, and it gives us an unfair treatment. Sometimes other people sees you as good but some people sees you as bad, because we are the one’s who set those standards of what is right or wrong. My grandmother believe that I am wrong and sinful just because I go to Christian church and not to Catholic church, she told me that I should not show up in hell waving for help from her in heaven. On my side, I am thinking of how I can save her from false beliefs because I believe I am right. Of course, I did not say it to her because I was being moral. It just shows that no matter how you think you are right there will always be people think that you are wrong. For me, just believe what you want to believe, we all have our own heart, follow it and see for yourself how it will take you in the end.

Ethics is also called moral philosophy. It is one of a branch of philosophy that involves in principle that concerned of what is morally right and wrong, and what morally is bad and good behavior for an individuals and society. In my understanding, ethics affect the way an individuals behave. It makes a person to morally act good and proper. But not every individuals are likely to think rationally most of the time. Even though their mind suggest a different course of action they still follow their 'gut instict'. In studying ethics there is a different concept and dilemmas we will encounter. Especially if we talk about the moral issues, this is were the society or individuals got more pretty worked up. For example, abortion. Since it is an emotional issue, most people let their hearts do the arguing. But just because a person agrees about it doesn't means that they're a bad person. Because everyone has a different perspectives and beliefs. So that's why we applied ethics on moral issues. Ethics can give several answer but doesn't always shows right answers. We just need to set a principle that can be applied to a particular cases to give some clear choices to those who are involved.

As a human being morality is the one thing that can define us if you as individual can be good or bad, if you know what is right or wrong then the people surrounds you can easily determine if you're enable to do such things. The terms ethics and morality are firmly related. It is presently basic to allude to moral decisions or to moral standards where it once would have been more exact to talk about moral decisions or good standards. These applications are an extension of the importance of morals. In prior use, the term alluded not to morality itself but rather to the field of study, or part of request, that has profound quality as its topic. In this sense, morals is identical to moral way of thinking. Ethics can guide us do to what is the right thing without sacrificing other things like your self interests and more.

Ethics is the science of morality. Nowadays morality is a big deal to people because it is easy to judge someone by their own actions. Even if you're right or if you're wrong people can easily judge you based on your what they see without knowing you. Not all of the people can agree on what is right and what is wrong. Because each of us have different perspective and different kinds of understanding in life. Some of us would agree but some of us wouldn't because people have different ways of seeing someone's manners and actions. People cannot live morally good life if they keep seeking their attentions to people who are not contented and expecting more. In life you don't need to mind other's people opinions as long as you have good morality and you are not stepping on anyone's life, it is perfect to be contented.

With the text “ethics is the science of morality and morality deals with principles of right and wrong”, people must understand how greatly morality differs us great with other animals. There will always be two choices in our every decision and the good/right will always be on top. Why? Because if we humans base our actions with what we want or what we desire most, there will be chaos. We will act like animals who act base on their instinct and want and that is why there is morality and that is why there is ethics. There will be times a person is put in a dilemma wherein they have to choose on what is right and what is good decision to make. It is just a proof that we differ from other species even though we re also considered as animals.

All of us were created equally but our principles in life and the way we do something it is so perplexed in terms on how we think critically. That is why people nowadays is very judgemental because we act differently by doing the right thing or just by following the law in our society but that’s basically how we usually act normally because we adopt the cultures or believes of our family or those people surround us. Everyone needs to obey the same set of rules and regulation to be a good person but why are so many people didn’t follow the rules which is why everyday our world become more messy. Do we just actually think or say that “walang perpektong tao” which is for me the statement is true but you need to discipline yourself for you to have a perfect life or just walking into the sidewalk without any hassle that you will encounter in everyday life.
Every one of us has their own ethical guide which will start when we were raised, the family we have, the experiences we have live through and also our beliefs. There are so many ways to act perfectly like a normal person however we cannot skip some of the hindrances in the path you pick in life because we are just a human being who wants to have a peaceful way of living but we still do the wrong decision in every action we did. Ethics are described by many factors that define who we are and think critically by choosing or knowing the right thing over the wrong decision that can also enlightened the normal people who wants to get a peaceful life. Ethics can guide us to be a better version and we need to value our own morality in life.

Ethics can tell you if what you are doing is right or wrong and what behavior you have, what your strengths, weaknesses and limitations are. For me, this study is very important, especially example for today's generations, many are blinded. on social media and they no longer know if what they are doing is right or wrong in other words they are no longer aware of what behavior they are showing to other people. So most people today have the same mindset. Often people are not aware of their actions they always do or follow their wishes without thinking if it is right or wrong. It is a morality that can judge what behavior a person has, so studying ethics is important because it is one that can tell yourself what behavior you have, you will know if you belong to another person with the same mindset.

Ethics is a moral standard of conducting the right and wrong principel that applied in everyday life. It is a character of a person where they dealing the prope course of action for a man. Sometimes every human in this world has an access to deal with their behaviour and making choices. We do even know what is good or what bad as long we can life goes on. The reason why we are learning ethics, morality, character behaviour it because we can change our bad happening to a good one and not even repeating for your own sake. Ethics is not being a perfect person or having a perfect character as long your applying in values, customs, norms, traditions, religious pronciples and you have learned in life from your bad happenings. It is important to respect other people's beliefs because we cannot interfere to what they believe because everyone has their own lives but we can share what our believes so that they know they can respect you what is your decisions going. Ethics can help us in decison making so that cannot make decisions that you will regret. There are some principle you need to consider. You need to listen first before you speak, you need to apply this to yourself, what if you hurt them or disreapect someone? Earn before you spend because not everyone can profit so we can earn not to spend to useless things. You need to think before you write or even click in social media. You need to even try your hardest before you quit because you can be hardworking as long you trust yourself. Live before you die because as long we trust yourself, love yourself and believe to yourself, find the reason you are living in this world. Think positive and good not negative and bad.

As humans, being right and being wrong is normal, making mistakes are normal and succeeding in a certain aspect in life is normal. Ethics is the science of morality, understanding ethics means we understand the principles of right and wrong, it will help us decide on what action we must take in a given situation, should we choose the right path or the wrong path.
In my opinion choosing the right course of action isn't the best course of action at all, because the concept of right nowadays can be tainted with bad intentions or bad outcomes, for example if choosing the right actions means sacrificing someone or something in order to attain it and it might hurt someone, does choosing it will make you feel that you made the right decision, what if there was another way or another course of action that we can take that will lead to a greater and better ending and by choosing the wrong path you may have an inconvenience but at the very least you didn't step on someone to achieve greatness and you will work your way up to your dreams without hurting anyone. All of us have different views on right and wrong, what's right for you maybe wrong for me and the cycle continues, we could see eye to eye if only we could understand each other but that is not the case in every situation in our lives, in life we must learn to depend on our judgement on how we should handle the situation.
I believe that in life the choices aren't limited to right and wrong, there is an infinitude of choices that you can make and studying ethics will help you narrow the wide options and choices into a single path that is morally right.

For me, ethics has a variation from belief, place, and time. Morality changes over time since the knowlegde of people is also changes over time.
Since, morality changes in different time, place and beliefs, ethics varies in different forms depending on it's civil.
"Can people agree on what is right and wrong for all people? Can people live a morally good life based on expectations of other people? These are challenging questions on the study of ethics." I quote this questions from the blog answer that, if the whole civilization or if the whole group of people benefits on what is right or wrong, then, I say yes based on agreement. but if it is based on expectations of the others, I'll disagree. As I said, morality or ethics may vary on differences, some of us may believe in some things but some of us not. I also can't give specific answer to avoid arguements, it may be vague but it is efficient for me to generalize.

Ethics is a system of moral principles, knowing what is right and wrong is essential but there are also challenges or things to be considered like for example society or the expectations of others decides what is right and wrong from most of the time, and that’s when the question “can people live a morally good life based on expectations of other people?”. Knowing what is right and wrong can sometimes be easy and sometimes confusing, sometimes you already know it is wrong but still wants to do it, and for rare cases there are mistakes that you can only know when you actually encounter it, for instance you actually think it is good for you but when you’ve done it and it already happened to you that’s when you realized it is wrong and not good for you.

“The most important human endeavor is the striving for morality in our actions. Our inner balance and even our very existence depend on it. Only morality in our actions can give beauty and dignity to life.”
-Albert Einstein
Indeed, that living without morality is not living at all. We are all broken pieces that is striving very hard just so that we can achieve the ultimate purpose of life. It is our role/job as a human to endeavor the true meaning of Ethics and its purpose to fully understand and use it to learn and inspire others. As a student, I must say that it is very crucial for us to practice and learn the ethical values of life albeit we are still young and inexperienced. But we owe it to our progenitor to at least try and be the better version of our selves that we can be proud of. I know and I understand that every single one of us have a different and unique values since the day that we were born and there is nothing wrong with that and that makes us special and apart from each other. But the only thing that makes us kindred to each other is that we have Ethical values and morality deep inside our inner self and that is something that no one can take away from you, from us.

Ethics is the branch of knowledge that deals with moral principles in which the discipline concerns with what is morally good and bad and morally right and wrong. Studying ethics is very important for an individual for us to determine what is right and what is wrong. As an individual, sometimes we unconsciously do what is wrong but if we applied ethics, we are able to determine whether it is right thing to do or wrong. “The value morality of a person’s worth based on the goodness of his acts”, this statement tells that the way we take paths or chose on what things we do reflects on us. For example, we chose to sparate the non-recyclable and recyclable materials it does mean that that individual is an organized person. As well as in ethics, if you chose what is right thing to do then you are a morally good person. But not everything that is right for you is also right for others. Sometimes we have different perspectives in which it starts conflict. In my conclusion, as a person, we should always choose to do great things because we only have one life and it is good to do good things and choose what is right because at the end of the day we are the ones who is accountable of our own actions. Also, we shouldn't invalidate one individual just because you're right because doesn't mean you're right the other person is wrong.

The philosophy of morality is known as ethics. Morality is concerned with the ideas of right and wrong. Inferring from this, ethics becomes the study of moral values.
And for me, Ethics is the study of right and wrong, as well as moral responsibility and obligation. Some people are unable to apply their morality correctly. But we are all humans we did mistakes and wrong decision in our life however with the help of Ethics its our responsibility and obligation to correct our past mistakes and replace it with a good and right acts. Because without ethics, our acts will be aimless and unpredictable. Like in a drawing Ethics serves as guidelines in our everyday lives from deciding what is right or wrong. It also assists us in reorganizing and correcting our acts and objectives in order to fulfill our most essential ideals. The significance of ethics is vital because it can help us live a more professional life. Ethics represents our willingness to make good or bad decisions in life and to live with the consequences that can affect both ourselves and others.

I believe that Ethics is our capacity of determining the great difference between what is considered as right or wrong, along with the vast line that divides both concepts in extension to governing our own decisions and life choices. All of us were born equally, but it is our life experiences that serves as the seed planted within our notions that allows our tree of ethics to sprout onto blooming. It only means that we are the only ones responsible for our own life decisions. The accountability of our choices lies to none but us, we have no one to either praise or blame for the approval or criticism of others but us. It is our code of ethics and morals that guide us as we travel along the progression of our life. Albert Camus once said that a man without ethics is a wild beast loosed upon this world. In response to that, I believe that all of us came into this world as wild beasts. And with our developed ethics, it only relies to our own judgement whether we decide to remain as one or be tamed to be a greater cause in benefit to the world.

Ethics is an essential part of our lives because it guides our choices and behaviors that will define who we are as a person which also deals with the standard of the society. We have different opinions to what is right and wrong and somehow it affects some people because of different beliefs, it might confused us sometimes because we set some standards that other people struggle to deal with since sometimes the right choice we make is not always the right thing to do. We are not created perfectly, we are still going to make or do the wrong things but studying ethics enlighten us to understand on how to act right to most people, people made this so that we have something to follow and what we can agree on how we will interact to each other. We have our freedom if we want or don’t want to follow the standards but still people need to set limits and think of its own if it is really right or wrong because ethics will just guide us and the choice is still ours to make.

Ethics is a system of moral principles. It is concerned with what is good for individuals and society and is also described as moral philosophy. In my opinion, ethics guide as to make a positive impact through our decisions and actions. It also play an important role not only in our personal lives but also in business. Ethics guide us to make our society or even this world a better place through our choices we make. I don't fully understand ethics yet, because I have Decidophobia that means, I have a fear of making decisions, I'm relying on someone's opinion or decisions to make mine. It's hard because it takes a lot of courage to believe on someone. But as I have told you, ethics is basically a decision to do the right thing.
Every one of us has different circumstances, we are different in terms of our point of view and the way we do something but, we are created equally. All law are imposed on us equally so we must do our best to follow these laws. This is not just for an individual but, it is for all of us in order to have a better relation or connection on each other because Ethics teaches us what we ought to do, not what we do. We ought to treat others with kindness, compassion, and respect so that we can live peacefully.

In this time, it's been a year since the covid-19 strikes all over the world. Countries were down and people undergo hard situations, surviving and standing for themselves and their families. How can we see ethics in a time of trouble? Ethics or moral was described as the high standards of right and wrong, what people ought to do, the terms of right, an obligation, benefits to society, beauty, or betterment. Relating to the situation today, even the country was filled with corruption in times of pandemic, murders, and media hiding blood behind the curtains. Ethics came to see the clear path of right and wrong. It is choosing goodness even if your surrounding was full of bad habits, it is the decision of doing the right thing because people have different hearts and conscience that even the high authority is used to corruption and garbage bags, some people will continue to serve with clean hands and rightful actions. Ethics is morality.

As I heard the word ethics, I can't stop relating it to my previous Philosopy subject when I was in Senior Highschool. Maybe because it happened to be one of our topics, and is one of the interesting ones. As I go back to what I have learned, I conclude that Ethics deals with what should be the proper behavior of a man. It is a requirement for us humans. A requirement which serves as our guide to our daily lives. It is our means of deciding our own actions and I think, without it, our actions would be random or aimless.
And with the actions being said, ethics is the study of knowing what is right to what is wrong. "Good manner and right conduct" that is what we always hear. It answers the question "What do I do" in a specific moment or situation. "Am I doing things right or I am just doing what I think is right without knowing if it is actually right or wrong".
So basically, knowing, understanding and adopting to the lessons in ethics would provide us a good foundation in understanding and making good decisions in our life.

Ethics is like an ENGLISH grammar checker it tells you that the word your using or the sentence that your constructing is grammatically incorrect, therefore, it will tell you what is wrong and what is right. Hypothetically speaking, the world, the people and the society is your English grammar checker that always tells you that what your doing is wrong and should be corrected. Norms, beliefs, rules and religion are some of those checker that the world has to offer in order for your life to stay in the standard path to morality. In other word, it tells you what to do and what not to do, it contradicts and rules out our own thoughts, decisions and even your actions.
Let us say that, your professor told you that cheating is wrong and it is unacceptable inside a school, therefore, ethics is being implemented inside the premises and it should always be followed. But your about to cheat and then suddenly your ethics thought by your teachers strike you and it says that, "Hmmm, Nope! Na Ahh!".
Therefore, in my conclusion, what you believe is right is actually something right and at the same time it could be something wrong, and what you believe is wrong is actually right but at the same it can be wrong. We can't actually define what right and what is wrong, unless, the society tells. But, always remember that everything falls back to what you think and what you believe

We all have our choices to do what we want, everything depends on what we chose. Ethics is based on well-founded standards of right and wrong that prescribe what humans ought to do, usually in terms of rights, obligations, benefits to society, fairness, or specific virtues. Ethics has to do with our feeling that tells us what to do, even if it is right or wrong. it is also consist the standard of our society accept. Ethics is two things. Ethics or what we called “the science of morality”, it will discipline and lecture what is good and bad concerning the behavior and moral duties. To put it simply, ethics represents the moral code that guides a person’s choices and behaviours throughout their life. The ethics is just a combination of morals and reasoning. For example, you might feel that it is morally wrong to steal, but if you have an ethical viewpoint on it, it should be based on some sets of arguments and analysis about why it would be wrong to steal. It simplifies which way you will choose either right or wrong path, ethics it’s like a waze that shows you the right way and it’s a two way directions the given direction from waze or just taking a shortcut either it will leads you the right place or you will get lost. If we follow the given way it will leads us to the right place and we won’t get lost, the commonly hindrances is the traffic but also it’s a part of the process that we might be late but we made it and got the right way.

As What I have recalled Ethics is a branch of philosophy that deals with the moral principles of a person. What is wrong and right behaviour. Ethics for me is a belief of an individual which is very important, it is something we hold on to because it is what we think is right. All of us has Ethics deep within ourselves, we set standards and rules for ourselves and would be morally good. Ethics also reflects what kind of person we are, obviously we see things differently. Ethics is being instilled to us since we were kids, for instant, I grew up learning that joining an adult's converstion/discussion is very rude and unethical, so I always shunning myself out of the room because from what I have learn it is tete-a-tete. That is one of my Ethics. It is clearly obvious that ethics is consists of standards of behaviour of what the society accepts. Being ethical is also doing what the law requires. It tells human being ought to do. What is rational. The role ethics in this world is very important. Just imagine that if all of us has no ethics, we are like wild animals committing heinous crimes and that is a dismal prospect, it is one of our basic needs. Ethics serves as our concept about our philosophy and religion, practices and cultures. One of the dilemmas of ethics is our moral decisions, they affect how people make decisions and live their lives. It guides ua to make a positive decision and actions.

It is indeed that ethics is the science of morality—knowing of right and wrong. As a human being, learning ethics is essential for us to be more matured, and how we should do things in life: for a word I should corned, to not become a burden for the society. Learning what is wrong and right comes down from the time we were born—and it is rooted in us as we drag our feet to adulthood.
What is right and wrong? Each person has their own set of principles: for mostly, they used this for determining what is right and wrong.
As for me, ethics are a way for us to determine our principles in life. As I told earlier, from the very time we were born, people—mostly those who raised us—embedded us on what is right and wrong for them. It is shaped up on when we started going to school, or for some, in the religion they were in, or the laws on our country. We have been told by various people about these things, that when we took a step on an expanded world, we felt wronged when we thought that what is wrong (or right) for us are the opposite to the other people.
I remembered a scene from a series I’ve watched, a kid asked a policeman what is right and wrong. How about the law? He told a certain circumstance. Is the law, always right? In that certain moment, I also thought of how many teachings had been implied to me ever since I was in the womb of my mom. What is right, aren’t always right. What is wrong, isn’t always what is wrong. Thus, I reckon that Ethics is a tool for us to pave our way more to have a more acceptable moral, or what we should stand for when we are in a dilemma.
The world is evolving, plus on how we should act and think on things. We are now in the world wherein we shouldn’t react exaggeratedly, but to think things over and over again. Is this ethically correct? I, myself do not know. Hence, we must all act in a way that we should not just think for ourselves, but to the greater good also.

Ethics are the rules of conduct that we can use to provide an outline for us to understand and interpret the right and wrong in the society. In every situation, we face different kinds of beliefs, action and principles. We have to think about whether the decision of what will be choosing is right or wrong, It is right and acceptable to the society, whether it is in accordance with the guidelines of the ethics. Ethics is essential to learn, practice the rightness and wrongness of human action as a college student to help us to think critically in doing what is right instead of choosing what makes me happy. To motivate the values of the people to act their individual beliefs as a guide of human behavior.
